Where is Crate? I assume it's outside of Ishval, if someone is taking refuge there, but I don't know how we'd be able to help if that were the case?

Well lets just say as a none government, none ishval body, we're a neutral third party...

And well... why not help a refugee being held across the border.
 
Matter is

The omake writters invest a lot on extra actions and not enougj on bonuses

I would preffer succeding at a steady pace that fuck several actions in a same turn

Wouldn't it make more sense for these to be Xing and Aerugo, respectively? Ishval is in the Southeast part of Amestris, and Cetra is to the West and Drachma is to the North, while Xing is to the East and Aerugo is to the South.

It would be easier to escape across the desert instead of across Amestris for the refugee, and Aerugo is currently fighting a border war with Amestris, while Drachma has a non-aggression pact with Amestris at the moment. Ishval exploding into conflict would weaken the southern garrison Aerugo is currently fighting, but wouldn't change the situation at the Briggs Wall.

Xing also has been improving trade relations with Amestris lately, and would be likely to send a refugee back to Amestris to contiune that, but also wants Amestris' alchemy, which they would be able to observe if the conflict in Ishval exploded to the point of requiring State Alchemists to come in.

Sorry for bothering you @ Magoose but these seem a little luckluster rewards for two nat crit here...

I mean I get that the getting the prophet was the extra but I still think that we should have that -20 to arrest fot a few more turns.

And about training, for a 97 we should probably get a little more than merely the next level of combat Alchemy, I mean we could have rolled a 60 and get the same thing.

Xing has no interest in Ishvallan affairs right now, as of right now because there is too much profit to gain from the region, and Aerugo isn't in Ishval right now causing any trouble (yet). Cetra and Drachma are running guns and starting trouble right now and their mercenaries are trying to start shit.

The reason Cetra is holding an ishvallan refugee is... Well, you'll find out if you choose that action.

Actually you are correct on all fronts, except in one detail.

Ishval hasn't exploded into all out war yet because of three reasons:

1. Our actions covering the war has made central command (I.e Bradly's Subordinates) weary that going any harder will cause a General strike, and that would fuck the economy of the entire nation up. Something that would damage the Military complex that Amestris relies on to power project.

2. They already have the dead people they need for Father's Plan to continue unabated.

3. You don't think that they haven't just gone around through the desert to smuggle guns into Ishval to try and destabilize the region... because they are.

Let me put it to you this way: Ishval's becoming a very interesting place for the Amestrian Millitary in the next few months...

Belive me, when I say, even Nat Crit's would not prevent... the Crackdown that is coming.

Ok, let's use this chance to getting the interviews with the Ishvallan prophet and the Logue, and getting the info about the Gun runners and the Amestrian government is essential when they try to destabilise the region

Plus becoming proficient in CQC will be essential for our unavoidable confrontation with Dante.

That depends?

Do you want to learn his political beliefs, why he chose to stop hostilities when he could have easily allowed it to escalate for their own independence?

Or do you want to hear from the man himself about... well the current state of affairs in Ishval and what our role is in it, now that there is a reign of peace?
