Reborn on the Moonless Seas

Anchorage makes sense simply to save us from getting yelled at later by logistics. The completely uninformed tactician in me says Suzaku with three escorts would make sense, but...

[X] Anchorage

Everyone seems to be voting solely for the destination. I can't actually go forward without people voting properly...

For voting purposes let's call it,

[X] Plan United We Stand
-[X] Anchorage
-[X] Do not split the Party
-[X] Line Ahead Formation

[X] Anchorage. [X] Do not split the Party. [X] Alternate Routes to confuse Abyssals. [X] Diamond Formation.

the vote tallying program won't read that as intended. You'd want
[ ] Plan United We Stand
-[ ] Anchorage
-[ ] Do not split the Party
-[ ] Alternate Routes to confuse Abyssals
-[ ] Diamond Formation

First off, because it's formatted improperly, voting for 'United we stand' won't actually vote for your plan, it'll vote solely for 'United we stand' and nothing else. Because 'United we stand' is in a line of text, the tallying program won't recognize that you're voting...

...and yeah, NOW you fixed it. Still need me to finish the explanation of why things ended up borked?

Basic Layman's terms explanation is probably enough.

Basically, votes have to be at the start of a line for the tallyer to notice them (hence why it didn't notice 'United we stand' and merged all the others into a single line of vote), and for plans, they have to be tied together properly to count as a plan-vote instead of a bunch of separate votes.

On the other hand, if they ARE tied together properly, like the format i suggested, now people only need to vote 'Plan United We Stand' for the vote to contribute to the actual plan, they don't need to copypaste the entire thing.

Thank you very much.

[X] Plan United We Stand

I don't really remember what little I learned about the formations, but... splitting the party from the word 'go' seems risky enough without considering that Suzaku would be placed into a command role as a result while she's still incredibly green. We've already seen her hesitate on something as simple as 'should we help these civilian freighters or look the other way?'

Different formations offer different benefits for specific threats. If you'd like, I can go over the basics for the benefit of refining the vote.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that would be appreciated.

Diamond, to me sounded like it would allow an all direction defensive, just in case more abyssals showed from a different direction while still allowing reasonable adaptability.

I don't quite get how the "alternate route" option works without splitting the party.
My own thought was make it look like we're going to the other location at first then shift to the one we're really going to, but if the author sees or wants to write that part differently than that's their choice

I'd personally recommend taking that option out, as it was meant specifically for the Split Party Option
