[] Support Chiyome in taking down the Beast. Wear it down and keep hitting it hard. Blow it apart and never let up!

"Go! Assassin!" you roared as your Servant dashed forward just as the Beast answered by unleashing spikes of corrupted mud down at her. Chiyome was able to dodge and weave through them before shooting straight at the maw of the Beast.

You held up your hand and etched a rune on her back as she moved. Her body surged with power as she drew her sword to slash down at her foe. The Beast clashed with her using several tendrils before swinging her back down. Her body hit the ground but she landed on her feet, sliding back as you finished weaving runes in the air.

Flames danced and flung themselves at the monstrous abomination, its twisted crown snuffing out the magical energy from your spell. You etched a rune on Assassin's sword before she ran once more. She dodged left and right, detonating a smoke bomb as a massive spike pierced through the cloud of smoke where she should have been.

However Chiyome simply grappled upon the spike to launch herself up, only to pull herself downwards and meet the monster's tendrils as it roared at her. She cut and sliced through the tendrils while you augmented her strength from afar. She was able to break through the volley of spikes and leave a burning slash upon the Beast's visage.

You then held out your hand as your magic circuits flared up, "Pull!"

An invisible force pulled Chiyome away from the monster as it burst with a pulse of energy. Corrupted mud churned within the Throne Room as Assassin fell down on her feet. You watched her turn to you and nodded.

"I'm fine. I can keep fighting," Assassin said as the Beast moved. It lunged and forced you both to dive out of the way. Rolling to recover, you palmed the ground and siphoned a bit of Magical Energy from the Pyramid before creating glass swords, firing them at once and having them shatter against the Beast's face.

It turned to you before you felt your mind quiver from meeting your gaze. You smiled as you ran back and had it chase you. Opening its maw, it belched forth a wave of mud as you swept your arm against a pillar and shattered it. Debris fell and you ran your magical energy through it, the air crackling with power.

"Golem!" you roared as the pieces of rubble reformed into a humanoid appearance. It then lowered itself as you ran up towards it, allowing it to throw you overhead as the flood of corrupted mud swept it away.

Assassin had jumped right behind the Beast's head and was soaring towards you, you grabbed on to her as the two of you fell down unto your foe's head. You and Chiyome began working as you etched your runes on the surface of the crown while she tossed sealing tag after sealing tag upon the crown before she kicked you off.

A pulse sent you flying back, tumbling along the ground as you and Chiyome looked up to see the Beast unleash a pulse of energy. It howled for a moment before explosions rocked its head and knocked it right on the floor. It growled and raised its head before muddy tendrils shot out of its neck and attached themselves into the ground and walls.

It howled as it began to siphon energy from the Pyramid itself.

The ground began to bubble with magical energy and corrupted mud, only for a figure to step out of it. A Blackened Servant came to existence dragging a heart shaped Spear by herself as she leaned on it. Her entire body was broken and corrupted but she still held her weapon in her hands. The Beast screamed and the Blackened Valkyrie screamed along with it.

She rushed towards Chiyome who was ready for her strike. The spear was deflected but the Blackened swung down. Chiyome sidestepped it and deflected it to the side. The two Servants exchanged blows as sparks danced in the air before Chiyome managed to knock her spear down. Stomping on the Spear, Assassin thrust her sword straight through the Blackened's chest before tearing it out.

Jumping over the Blackened, Chiyome then stabbed backwards, splitting open the Blackened's chest and forcing her body to dissipate. The Beast shuddered upon the Blackened's destruction and was torn off the connection it had with the Pyramid. It roared while Manaka raised an eyebrow.

You quickly pricked your thumb and began drawing on the ground, "Assassin! I'm going to need your help later!"

"With what?!" Chiyome hissed as she glanced at you before dodging an attack from the Beast.

"We're going to try exorcising that thing. I'm sure you know a few mantras to get rid of Evil. It won't hold a Beast of Humanity but it should give us some time to do something else," you told her as you glanced at Manaka, "Manaka wants us to play along her stupid game. But I'm not playing it. She wants me to be a Hero, right? But I'm not interested."

"Hans?!"
Chiyome blinked before she was forced to slice apart several tendrils coming down on her.

Manaka stared you down before her eyes widened, "No. No that's not how you play!"

"Curse," you breathed as you let blood spill from the wound from your hand. A presence filled to the brim with cold dread began to weigh behind your back as more of your blood fell to the ground. A haunting presence whispered into your ear even when it had no voice. It caressed your flesh even if it had no hands to touch you. It blew cold wind though it had no need to breathe.

It was formless, a Devilish curse which would do your bidding for a price. You had used a similar ritual when facing Archer's Master.

It seemed that despite what she said, Manaka and that monster were still connected. The little liar... But you've unnerved her, she can't play her game without her Protagonist. Now all you had to do... Was follow through.

The Beast cannot be beaten, it cannot be killed, it was an Evil of Man which the World and Alaya would no doubt respond to. But you didn't have to beat it or kill it, you just have to hurt it... Failing that, strike fear into the one holding its leash.

"I'll show you just how petty I could be," you snarled as your blood turned black, a prompt for your offer to be accepted.

"Hans!" Manaka shouted.

You needed time... So you'll just hand out your own, hand over fist.

Holy shit. I think Manaka might be genuinely concerned about Hans.

She found someone else to care about in her own fucked up way.

I'm not sure Hans even has 20 years, but I don't think the sword would be enough.

30 seconds is a long time against a target that can't move.

I was away for the earlier votes, and couldn't point this out when it was more relevant, but you do all remember the Beast only has one of it's crown's right? Probably from the one time Hans played into Pride.

It's likely it wasn't/isn't at full power. Hence why Manaka thought it'd be easy. Only one sin to overcome.

EDIT: What worries me here is that Hans is basically playing into his Pride. He refuses to do this on Manaka's terms, to accept any role but what he chooses. No matter the cost or practicality. Given the Beast is literally made of humanity's sins and explicitly has a connection to Hans through his Pride, I'm getting a distinct feeling that this route might not as much be flipping the script on Manaka as giving in to the Beast.

I won't be surprised if Deus ex Manaka heals Hans back up after this fight, because she does seem to genuinely like him and is probably capable of that sort of thing. Relying on that possibility would be a bad idea, though, for obvious reasons.

Since there's only 1 crown the demon sword might be enough

although anything greater than that would likely also work but be more costly, i'm ambivalent on which to pick but i'll choose the demon sword over short imprisonment and genuine demon summoning for now

You opened your bleeding palm and let the blood flow to the floor. Manaka vanished from where she stood by the Throne to appear before you but she was too late, she wouldn't be able to cancel out your little Ritual in an instant. Not when you were already in mid-swing of it.

"Relinquish: 20 Years," you declared as the entire Throne Room turned dark, all sound ceasing as Manaka looked to see that the Beast had been dragged into the void.

A Bounded Field expanded within the Throne Room before objects fell from the Heavens. Torii Gates fell from the blank Heavens and smashed straight down along the elongated neck of the Beast, pinning it down section by section until it could no longer move.

The Entity which allowed this to occur reached within your back and drew forth the price for its assistance, the Gates pulsing and forcing the Beast down. You gasped and fell down your knees as you watched Manaka glare at you, her blue eyes meeting yours.

"Assassin! Get to work!" You ordered as Chiyome broke out of her stunned state and drew out sealing papers.

Tossing five of them into the air, she drew her sword and swung it with elegant swings. A gentle and mesmerising dance which drew upon the power of the Divine. Though it was true that physical manifestations of the Divine were locked out of the Pyramid, rituals were not. As such Chiyome was able to invoke and perform a dance which would expel Evil.

The Gates won't hold. 20 years of your life for a measly 30 seconds had to be the worst deal you've ever taken but... If it could weigh down the Beast some more then you'd take it.

Ripples expanded from Chiyome's steps as she danced before the Beast of Man, forcing it to look only at her as she swung her blade and let it rise and fall. 15 seconds left, can she make it?

The sealing tags drifting in the air all shined and the Gates pulsed with power as they cracked. The Beast struggled and groaned but the Gates held on as you grit your teeth.

Chiyome danced and danced as the silhouette of serpents moved behind her. Fireflies floated up the air as she continued her blade dance, red ribbons flowing through the air and the dance taking hold. The sound of bells clinking echoed in the darkness.

"Oh Great Mountain Lord, witness this Dance of mine," Assassin whispered as she had the floating tags shine bright and resonate with one another, "Declare this Beast before me as one of the afflicted, of the unguided and the cursed!"

They then attached themselves to the Beast which bound it even further.

"This is... You're dragging it into this world," Manaka whispered with her eyes widening, "What are you-"

Her words were cut off as a Black Box floated by your side. You pushed Manaka aside as you walked towards the Beast and held your hand up.

"Let Calamity Dance and Chaos Flourish. Answer, the Call of Misfortune," you echoed as you held the black box before you, " Black Box of Calamity( Faux Pandora) !"

You crushed the box and unleashed the contents it had within. One hundred manmade curses surged forth and slammed against the Beast's hide, eroding it's flesh and seeping within its muddy body, causing it to howl but it did not spread, no.

Unlike before, you concentrated the curses into one location as you held out your hand, "Let Silver Shine... Cut through the veil of misfortune and return balance to the World! Elpis, White Sword of Hope( Faux Pandora) ."

The silver sword blazed in your grasp just as the Beast shattered the Gates you had summoned, bringing color back to the world and returning you to the Throne Room. The Beast saw the Silver Sword in your grasp as you stood before it, causing it to roar and dive down towards you.

Chiyome moved faster and grabbed you by the side, allowing you to evade the attack. She then threw you to the ground as you tossed her Elpis. Assassin grabbed on to the Silver Sword and used her other blade to turn and stab into the Beast.

The monster howled as it swung its head back and forth, struggling to shake off Assassin as you hit the ground rolling. You coughed out blood as you looked up to see your Servant be tossed up in the air.

The Beast howled and moved upwards to smash her through the ceiling but Assassin managed to evade. The Beast however managed to smash through the ceiling of the Throne Room and burst out of the Hittite Steel surface of the Pyramid. It's neck extended further and further until it was out of the Pyramid and was among the sky beneath the silver moon.

Assassin held on to its side before she was thrown into the air. Reorienting her body, she turned to face down her foe as it ascended up at her.

The curse of Orochi screamed in her blood as her tattoos burned and her eyes became more serpentine. Her teeth grew fangs as black scales covered patches of her flesh.

For the Masters beneath the Pyramid, they looked up to see a muddy Dragon howl with its twisted crown as it faced a the figure of a Shrine Maiden wielding two blades.

For the Servants in the heat of battle, they bore witness to the sight of a monstrous creature facing a lone Servant in the skies. The Beast of Revelation roared as it flew towards Chiyome while she held Elpis tight in her grasp.

You held out your hand to the sky and declared, "BY THE POWER OF MY COMMAND SEAL!"

Scarlet light erupted from the back of your hand.

I wonder if we summoned the demon sword we could have had assassin to pull a Roronoa Zoro with Elpis and Ame no Habakiri

Maybe eating a Beast made of what's essentially Grail Mud isn't the best thing for Chiyome? It could corrupt her or worse.
