Bad End 1: An Introduction to the Dojo!
[] Have Chiyome cut him with Ame no Habakiri
[] Yes

"By my Command Seal, Assassin, cut him down with your Noble Phantasm!" you ordered as you raised your hand and had the air burst with crimson light.

Empowered by your Second Command Seal, Assassin took a step forward and raised her sword. Her body surged with power just as Saber turned to pull his sword out. He was too slow as Assassin managed to get close and prepare her swing. Saber simply looked down on her as she activated the Noble Phantasm in her hand, calling out to its true name.

"Saber, dodge and counter," Minerva ordered as her hand shined crimson as well. Your blood ran cold as Saber was imbued with crimson light.

" Snake Slaying Dance of the Heavens!!!( Ame no Habakiri) " Chiyome roared as the sword crackled with black and blue lightning.

Assassin slashed but Saber was imbued with the scarlet miracle of the Command Spell. Even when he was hindered by Medusa's Mystic Eyes, Saber was still able to evade Assassin's Noble Phantasm with the help of the Command Spell. He was unable to retrieve his sword just as Lancer vanished behind him and he wasn't able to evade completely.

Saber was still struck by the vicious force behind Assassin's sword given she was empowered by your Command Spell, however it wasn't enough to kill even as his entire right side of his stomach was blown off. He was however more aware of Ame no Habakiri's activation and output, allowing Saber... Or Susanoo... to apply the necessary counter.

Without his sword, the God-Man of Storms and War clenched his fist and swung.

Assassin was struck right on her face and sent flying behind you. You turned to see Assassin cough out blood as she crumpled upon a gravestone.

"Snakes... Are just incomplete Dragons," Susanoo said as he clenched his fist, "Had your Master had enough patience, you would have been able to climb up this Waterfall of mine."

"Assassin!" You shouted just as you heard a distant click.

BANG

You felt as if you had been punched in the chest. Your body was forced to jerk in the direction of the impact before you lost your strength in your limbs. You looked up to see Minerva with her hand grasping a pistol, its barrel smoking from having been fired. You placed a hand on your hest and felt blood on it.

"Hans!" Sakura cried out as she drew her arrow to shoot Minerva but Susanoo was there to knock them down.

You looked up to see one of Minerva's Command Spells vanish. One out of the three she had. She got you, huh? You were starting to lose consciousness. Falling down the grass, your eyes fell upon Chiyome as she watched from where she laid. Her eyes were wide and began to fill with tears as curses began to concentrate on her body.

A moment later, Assassin screamed and from her body emerged a most monstrous creature, one Susanoo was most familiar with. You weren't able to see what happened next as everything turned black.

In the darkness of the afterlife, there was only... Well, more darkness. There was nothing, only for everything to happen a moment later. Opening your eyes, you found yourself in a Japanese style training room... A dojo of some sort.

Sakura Matou stood before you with a bright smile while wearing a school uniform, "Welcome Senpai! To your first ever visit to the BB Dojo!"

"Oh wow, it's an actual for real death this time," a young girl snickered with a smug look on her face, "The last one didn't count but here we are."

"And I'm your host, the ever lovable Mastermind of Disaster, BB-chan!" BB introduced herself with a wink. She then jerked her thumb over to her partner, "And that's Chloe! This is the Bad End Theater where you get useful advice to avoid certain death!"

"There used to be a lot of these sections but you were too good at avoiding death so we had to cram the intro here too," Chloe sighed as she shook her head.

"Don't worry senpai, we'll get you up there and running!" BB winked with a mischievous look, "Since this is your first death, make sure it's the last one too! With all the chaos that's happening in the battlefield, you might end up losing your head! You spent those Command Seals like food coupons!"

"You didn't actually have to use them. Caren and Saber (the King in the skirt with the holy sword) would have saved you and you didn't need to summon Assassin if you chose the right dialogue options in the choice avoiding summoning your Servants. Still, Medusa's fate isn't looking good either way," Chloe explained before she held up her hand, "Still, if you do choose to continue, you can force Minerva to expend one Seal now."

"The real mistake was really just empowering Assassin," BB giggled from the side, "Try not to get careless, Senpai~."

"Teasing aside, if you do choose Cursing Susanoo instead of cutting him up, it'll still result in Minerva expending a Seal but given the Omen of Great God Ibuki's properties, it may still hit him. That's a big 'if' too, the guy's strong," Chloe observed with a sagely nod.

BB then placed a hand on her hip, "And that concludes our help desk! Try not to die next time! Now BB will use her powers to send you back! Or you can just stay here with me, you'll never have to suffer again, senpai."

I hadn't expected a bad end, but I also wasn't confident enough to try and write up a vote to convince people of Ibuki's efficacy on Susanoo.

Now that I think on it, I don't think I've ever looked up exactly what Ibuki's Curse actually does. Or if Susasnoo actually got inflicted with it or anything similar while he was alive.

Edit: After some basic research, I realized that the majority of accounts for Susanoo slaying Yamato-no-Orochi don't involve an actual fight, per se. They involve him attacking it while it is in a drunken stupor, and unable to defend itself. It seems likely that Susuanoo never actually had to fight Yamato-no-Orochi properly. Not sure if that actually extends to here, but it might be worth considering.

Nah, some white wolf did all the work... three times, because refighting the boss once wasn't enough. :V

So, on that note, what do people think? Could Susanoo break through Ibuki's Curse without Minerva needing a Command Seal? What if it is enhanced with a Command Seal?

You realize that if we use a command seal, Minerva is just going to use one, right? And if it looks like Susanno can't block something, she'll probably use one anyways.

Basically there's no good reason to use a command seal as part of an offensive action at the moment, as was indicated in the bad end.

Big reminder that Assassin in not the direct combat class especially against Saber the best Combat Class.
[X] Return to 'Critical Point'
Ugh..we still need Lancer to die but Saber can handel us and rider. So we need to start going after Minerva since she's been Tyranting us this whole war and we need Saber out of the way to win.

Honestly minus this bad end, Minerva has performed poorly this war. Hans has out maneuvered her at every turn to the point I have to wonder how much the Luctworth are putting the pressure on at this point.

I'm moreso curious how she managed to summon Susanoo. What kind of Catalyst do you even use to summon a Divine Spirit?
If he's still a Divine Spirit. He did kind of get cast out of the Heavens to the Land Of Men.

Susanoo can only be summoned as he was when he was cast out of the divine realm since he's full on mortal at that instance. This Susanoo is closer to being a Demigod than being a full on Divine Spirit. He can easily be summoned by using Japan's Regalia, particularly the real Kusanagi kept hidden in Japan.

Critical Point: Redux
[] "Assassin, support her. Make sure you two come out alive."

You decided to cut in and speak up, "Assassin, support her. Make sure you two come out alive."

Assassin turned to you and frowned, "Wait, you're going out there on your own?"

"This is the better choice, now back us up!" you barked.

Luvia and Sakura supported you as the three of you made your way to the passage. More Sphinxes arrived and forced the two Servants to face them down. Your group managed to get in the passage as the sounds of battle echoed behind you. If things went sideways, you can always call Assassin back to your side.

Glancing down at Sakura, you found that she was out of Command Seals somehow. You don't know when she ran out but it must be recent She did fight Saber while you took care of Archer so it must be during that time. You sadly didn't have the time to think about it as your group entered the Catacombs beneath the city.

Luvia let you go and activated the gemstones she had placed within to light your path.

"What does the Blackened want with Miyu?" Luvia questioned you with a narrowed look.

"Well, considering that she's the Grail then I suppose it wants to keep her safe and out of our hands for now. Whenever a Servant dies the magical energy that's supposed to go to Miyu is siphoned, calling forth a Blackened in their place," you explained as the three of you moved, "I explained that much to you the last time but that was how Manaka did it in the past. The Blackened are lesser Heroic Spirits but this one we're up against seems a cut above the rest."

"You mean this has something to do with Ayumi?" Sakura asked from your side.

"If Ayumi was Manaka then the Blackened can be controlled but as herself, Ayumi can't do anything. It's like an out of control Machine, it can't be stopped unless we find the source of it. I know where but I'm not sure if that even is the right place anymore," you guessed as you kept walking.

"Whatever the case, we can't afford to let this continue. We have to meet up with Artoria," Sakura said as she walked by your side.

The three of you kept on moving until you reached the end of the tunnel. You were then met with a staircase leading upwards to which you ascended into another mausoleum. Luvia let you go for the moment and knocked down the door, turning to the side to see where the monsters were gathered and the sounds of Assassin fighting alongside Lancer was heard.

You stepped out to see that one particular Sphinx had taken off to the sky. That should be Miyu but how were you going to get to her at this rate?

"We can't catch her now. We have to retreat," you decided as you shook your head.

"We have no choice then," Luvia sighed as she looked up the air before Sakura moved.

"Watch out!" she yelled before pushing Luvia out of the way of a Sphinx descending nearby. You turned as the creature spread its wings and set its claws on fire. You held up your hand and fired flaming darts at its hide before you rolled back to evade its swipe. It snapped at you but you managed to evade it, allowing Luvia the opening to deliver a drop kick right on its head and sending it crashing into the Mausoleum.

Sakura drew her arrows and fired twice, lodging them into the creature's hide and sapping it of its strength.

"Run!" you barked as you fired a signal light into the air.

Hopefully Artoria and Caren can get the memo. You and the others decided to make a break for it to escape the area. Most of the Sphinxes descended towards where Lancer and Assassin were and few took notice of your escape. Why were they fixated on the Servants? Could there be a reason? Was it just their instincts or was there something else guiding them?

"Assassin, how are things?" you asked as you kept running.

"There's many of them. We can only handle so much. Lancer's wound is impeding her full potential but she's been using her Mystic Eyes to compensate. We're fine for now, what about you?"

You turned to see four Sphinxes come for you through the air.

"Could be better," you growled as you kept running. You looked up ahead to reach the end of the cemetery, only for something to appear in the horizon. You immediately a large heavy weight drop in the pit of your stomach once you saw the sword Chiyome wielded in the hands of a man in the distance.

Saber stood up ahead with his weapon drawn, crackling with power as he looked up from beneath his hat.

Almost immediately you felt your heart rate spike as you moved to knock both Luvia and Sakura down. The Servant swung his sword and cut through the air, splitting apart numerous monsters as they all exploded one by one. You felt the air quake above you as you grit your teeth.

Luvia gasped and raised a barrier above your group before she realized what had happened.

Saber stood in the distance before someone else walked past him with an amused look on her face. Minerva revealed herself as she spread her arms.

"Brother! You look like you're in dire need of help," Minerva called out to you as she smiled your way.

"Goddammit," you breathed as you tried getting up.

"Unfortunately you will not get any from me," Minerva chuckled as she pulled the slide of her handgun.

More Sphinxes appeared but they all seemed to gravitate towards Saber. The man pulled Minerva back by her clothes and sliced through one Sphinx before blowing through another with a thrust.

"Be more careful," Saber warned her as she laughed.

"Apologies. I was just excited," Minerva said as you faced her, "Well, Brother? Ready to die now?"

Critical Point: Redux

[] Minerva only wanted you. You'll split off from Luvia and Sakura so they can get to safety. You'll lure this Murder Doll away.
[] You need your Servant now. Use your Command Seal to summon Assassin as she grabs Lancer with her.
[] Buy time. The flare should catch Artoria and Caren's attention. If you can make Minerva dance to your tune, they could save you from getting murdered.

Right. This is what I wanted to do the first time.

On the bright side, hell yeah it's BB! I really do love the BB channel theme. On the down side, shit, my tiebreaker got us killed!

I'll take it as a good thing overall though, considering we can now prevent a Command Seal from being wasted. The thought of getting Minerva to waste a Command Seal while still having the curses hit Saber is tempting, but I'd rather not have to use our own to call Assassin now that we know it isn't necessary. Besides, I kind of want to see the continuation of @Muramasa's point.
Honestly minus this bad end, Minerva has performed poorly this war. Hans has out maneuvered her at every turn to the point I have to wonder how much the Luctworth are putting the pressure on at this point.
Having the Luctworth's becoming more and more paranoid about how "skillfully" Hans has been outmaneuvering them in typical "all according to keikaku" fashion is amusing to me. It's not a thought we can take too seriously, but it makes for an amusing omake if nothing else. A man can dream. It would all depend on if they believe our survival has been due to our protagonist powers luck or from risky plans to make it seem as if we're flailing desperately.

Anyway, I vote for the power of charisma in the name of MOAR DAKKA. Time to call Seibah to fight Saber.
