A Force, Undying (New Jedi Order CK2 Quest)

[X] [Jedi] The answer to what is the duty of a Jedi has repeatedly changed over time, but at their heart, the Jedi are a religious order. We seek to understand the Force and, having consistently determined it to be benevolent, to carry out its Will. Traditionally the Jedi have sought understanding by distancing ourselves from material focuses. And traditionally we have determined the Will of the Force to be to act to the benefit of sophonts everywhere, preferably in a manner that preserves the sanctity of life. Thus, our first duty as Jedi is to study the Force and ourselves and to determine our own place in it. Learn where your own thoughts and desires end and the Force's begin. Our second duty as Jedi is to aid sophont life wherever we may find it. We do not shy away from violence or death because both are a part of life, but neither do we seek them out. Phasma is certainly a problem, but she has already made herself many enemies who seek her destruction. Meditate on these questions, please. Where and how can you personally do good, padawan? Where have calls for help or justice gone unheard? Who has been forgotten by the galaxy or even by us? And, finally, are those the answers you have heard or merely the ones you want to hear?

[X] Plan: Lay To Rest
-[X] Campaign-The Twelve Systems: The Galactic Alliance Military is pushing towards Etti IV, the capital of the Corporate Sector, with the hopes that ripping out their beating heart will end the war, decisively and quickly, in your favor. (50%, 3 Successes) (2 Dice)
-[X] Looking for Allies: The Jedi Order is independent in large part because a number of your members either are, or come from families which are, wealthy. But having more resources will allow you to be more independent, and get more done at the same time. (60%, 1 success) (1 Dice)
-[X] What the Hell Ahsoka: What is the meaning of this? To seek to sabotage a war to free slaves? Has she fallen to the Dark Side? Taken all leave of her senses? Meet with this wandering quasi-Jedi, and determine why she would seek to cripple the war. (1 Success, 60%) (1 Dice)
-[X] Finding Ahch-To: Once the Order's Graveyard, Ahch-To has been lost to you for many centuries now, after being taken by the Sith. However, a wandering vagabond, smuggler, and mercenary, Explar Erandal, has reported finding star charts leading to the missing world and requests an escort to find them. The risk is real; but, if it is truly Ahch-To, you have not choice but to take it. (1 Success, 12 Jedi, 1 X-Wing Squadron, 60%) (1 Dice)
-[X] Imperial Angst: You've trusted hutts more than you trust Jagged Fel, Mr. "Military Men making Hard Decision ought to have all the power in the galaxy." Further, even if Master Solo is correct, and you can trust the Emperor, no Empire is built on one man. No doubt there are those in the Empire who would have a return to the 'good old days'-- seek them, so you will be ready for them. (???) (2 Dice)
-[X] Saber to Staff: Rather than a whole bombing run to kill one woman, you will send a single Jedi. Ideally, to turn her from this ignorant, self-destructive path; if not, to send her tout suite to her destiny, such that it is. No doubt the captain is protected by a small army from any would-be assassins; even more fortunate, then, even a single Jedi is more than enough for these wanna-be Stormtroopers. (1 Success, 50%) (2 Dice)
-[X] Take the Field: They want the Jedi to contribute more to the war effort? Fine. You, and your Padawan, will personally take to the field. It will be good practice for the both of you. (100%, 1 Success) (1 Dice)

First, buli-buli has a good idea of what it means to be a jedi, so voting for that.

As for my plan, first we need to help the Alliance to end the war at CS. To do that, we'll be also stepping on to the field personally, and sending someone to deal with Phasma. Being personally defeated should demoralize our opposition. I decided to put two dice there, since if Phasma happened to win, it would be massive blow to both us and the GA, and large boon for the CS.

We need to also find out what's going on with Ahsoka, as well as find Ahch-To, before someone else does. We also need more resources but are so busy with everything else right now, so Looking for Allies is our best bet on getting resources quickly.

Finally, we've looked lot into the other players of the Galaxy, but not the Empire. Aside from wanting to find out what is generally going on there, I'm very worried that there are elements on the move there that would love to take advantage of our war with the CS and problems with the Hutts.

[X] Where Are They?: As surely as do the Jedi, the Sith have their places of power. Korriban, Dromund Kaas, Ziost, -- all places the Sith have long walked, have marked as their own, like some beast claiming its territory in the jungle. It is where they will go, to hide and to hunt. Find their location, hunt them down, and bring this to an end. Insomuch as you can, anyway. (70%, 3 Successes) x2
[X] Seek the Jal Shey: An order of diplomats, scholars, and intellectuals, the Jal Shey seek to understand the Force from a more-- scientific perspective. They seek to sew peace, order, and justice where they travel, and would leave the galaxy a better place for their having been in it. Seek to learn more from them and of them. (60%, 2 Successes) x1
[X] Expand: The testing centers you established on Javin, Hosnian Prime, and Belsalvis are prime candidates to be further improved into fully functional Enclaves; not temples, not yet, but quite functional as centers of Jedi teaching and recruitment on those worlds. You need only put forth the credits. (4 Successes, 50%) x2

You hold a damp bit of cloth to your forehead, cursing the noonday sun that rains its hate on you. A bucket of water and ice sits at your right, used to occasionally dab away sweat from your brow.

"Gah...couldn't they have moved to, I dunno? Ilum, maybe? Hoth, that might have been preferable? Just anywhere where it doesn't reach ninety?" The towering temple complex which has served as your home for...decades, at least, has many admirable qualities. You can go for a walk and stumble across some ancient, legendary bit of history; the fauna that survived the nova has proven the more friendly of species; and of course, the Force itself sings in this place in a way it does not anywhere else.

The climate is not one of those virtues. Back before the nova, the massive rainforests and jungles which coated the planet kept it at a reasonable temperature (for a human); now, as a sun-scorched desert ball, it can soar to to a hundred degrees easily. Awful for a human; miserable for an Arkanian, born and raised and died for Millenia on the glorified ice ball that is Arkania, where it never gets above thirty and the ground never thaws.

Meanwhile, on this sandball of a planet you've been chased down to the deepest, darkest catacombs looking for some shade, some relief from the heat. Less than a dozen people know this location, all of them your allies if not quite friends yet.

A meditation chamber, one of the last locations opened as the Jedi reclaimed their old homes. A simple chamber, carved of the raw black volcanic stone, sealed away with a door of stone that can only be lifted by a dozen men; or the Force, under the command of a Jedi--

"Master."

"Gah!" Whipping around you see Allana looking vaguely guilty.

"Sorry master!"

"It's fine, it's fine, I'm old, my heart needs a shock every now and again. What do you require, Padawan?"

Teach her to sneak up on people. As if you couldn't feel that particular bonfire intruding in this place.

She looks unsure for a moment before thrusting a pad at you. "I have something for you to read, Master."

Grabbing it, you scan quickly. A news article, about the recent battle against Captain Phasma. All culminating in a single question: Where was Master Thorn?

"This means we're going to go fight her now, right?"

"Maybe. Maybe not."

"What?" She looks genuinely astonished that you might not let the needling of the Daily Transmission get to you.

"Padawan, I became a Jedi for many reasons. Not a one of them was to fulfill the inane desires of cheap, right-wing rags."

"Even when those inane desires are what the Jedi should be doing? Their duty?"

"Bold of you to assumed that that is the duty of a Jedi."

"If that is not...then what is?"

(Winner: [X] [Jedi] The answer to what is the duty of a Jedi has repeatedly changed over time, but at their heart, the Jedi are a religious order...)

You let yourself relax, releasing ancient tensions from your body as you do. "We were gathered, at the beginning, to serve the Force. Not the politicians; not the whims of the populists; certainly not the Meridogian media empire, no matter how much it pisses off that ghoul. And the will of the Force always has been, and always will be, the preservation of life from the bottom up. Who knows to what ends even the most miserable, vile life might be turned before it ends? Darth Vader destroyed the Empire. Revan saved the Republic. Traya saved the Jedi.

And are you certain, Padawan, that it is even the cold calculus of strategy and tactics that demands you kill this woman? Or is it your desire to be loved, to have people say 'there is the grand-daughter of Anakin Skywalker, the niece of Luke, love her?' And by playing to the media, at that. Do not rush so fiercely into earning the love of others, and in doing blind and deafen yourself to the will of the Force.

And do not forget, neither you nor the Jedi as a whole stand alone. The entire Galactic Alliance would see this woman dead or behind bars. There are plenty of soldiers, and her time is short enough, even if you and I do not race to kill her. We may be called to face her; or we may be called to investigate a murder on Telos; or to guard a Senator on Dantooine; or, or, or. The duties of a Jedi are endless, Padawan; would you make dealing death the greatest them?"

"I...see, Master." Your Padawan looks into the distance, far away and yet near. "I will consider what you have said."

"That is all I can ask."

Martial: As the war against the Corporate State has intensified, Master Solo has identified several faults with your ability to wage war. As well, however, she has identified solutions to the problems. She has also prepared a more...firepower heavy plan to remove Phasma from play.

Campaign-The Twelve Systems: The Galactic Alliance Military is pushing towards Etti IV, the capital of the Corporate Sector, with the hopes that ripping out their beating heart will end the war, decisively and quickly, in your favor.

- Clearly, what was tried last year did not work; and there is astoundingly little reason to believe it would work any better this year.

So you try a different plan. Rather than tossing more Jedi directly onto the Field to be gunned dead by some jumped up conscript given a blaster and told to shoot forward, you hit these corporate sociopaths exactly where it hurts, to try and scare them into withdrawing supporting elements of their armies from the main defensive line to their own minor squabbles.

So a team of Jedi led by Han Solo steal two Vault-Ships of the Corporate State from the Etti system even as the final battle grows to its titanic conclusion. As expected, ships, men, and resources that really should go to reinforcing the Corporate Defense Line are instead crudely funneled to protect the remaining wealth of the executive class even as the Order sets to work distributing your justly regained goods to the poor, where you can.

There is still something of a problem, in that the threat presented by these armies' presence, even if they are unlikely to move, leaves significant elements of Alliance Forces pinned down just to deal with the threat; even so, you take twice the land in this year as you have in the past two years combined, managing to push past the Inner Asteroid Belt and her orbital defenses to the orbit of Etti IV, where positively antiquarian vessels are pushed, once more, into conflict, one last time: Surplus from the Stark-Hyperspace War, The Extorin-Minor Skirmishes, and Zann-Hutt Crusade all fight side-by-side. It would be almost touching, if it wasn't to the benefit of slavers, murders, and thieves, all of whom have hands stained as red as the sands of Ossus.

Diplomacy: There are days it feels like every other faction in the galaxy, the rest of the Galactic Alliance not excluded, enjoys war; indulges in death; and dances with despair. Fortunate that you are here, then, to light the way.

Looking for Allies: The Jedi Order is independent in large part because a number of your members either are, or come from families which are, wealthy. But having more resources will allow you to be more independent, and get more done at the same time. (60%, 1 success)

-Once upon a time, Alsakan was a competitor with Coruscant. They could have been the singular poll of a mighty Republic, the beating heart of a civilization stretching from its core all the way into the furthest, darkest reaches.

Instead, the decadent, lazy, insert more insults here Coruscant gained dominance over galactic civilization even as the once mighty Alsakan World-States have atrophied. For 14,000 years they waged wars to take command; but now they are stagnant, with few, if any, colonies added between the end of the Final Alsakan conflict and now. But in you, they see a chance to reclaim power; in you, they see a chance to become something once more.

To seal the deal you have a Jedi help them navigate their prospector vessel, and they discover pay-dirt: a system rich in Tatsuishi resin, an alternative to Durasteel. Soon Alsakan ships make their way to Shedu Madd with supplies good to trade.

No doubt there are those in the Empire who would have a return to the 'good old days'-- seek them, so you will be ready for them.

- So at first you don't find...anything. Which is sort of suspicious in its own right: you could find freaks in the middle of the Senate, right now, talking about how you to go back to the good old days of Pius Dea (Well okay one freak, but still) so the idea that the absurdly less qualified Moffs have somehow managed to avoid having anyone pine for the bad old days of cheap fascism sets off the real power of any Jedi Master: your bullshit detector.

So you keep digging, and digging, and digging; and eventually stumble on not quite pay dirt, but certainly something: Someone has been funneling ships, big ones, to the galactic rim; or, even more frighteningly, to other Imperial survivor states, some known and some unknown. Not many on an absolute scale; but New Style Patrol Corvettes, Mark-VII TIE-Fighters, even an old-style Star Destroyer or two have all disappeared into the vast bureaucracy of the Fel Empire, all near their far border with the rest of the known galaxy.

It seems you have research to do.

- No more mister nice Jedi, then.

You, your Padawan, and a half-dozen more Jedi track down the ship they have Master Klin-Fa imprisoned on. An old Victory-Class, acting as a third line and bombardier ship as the Alliance grinds its way, further and further, through the Etti system.

The eight of you manage to infiltrate the Shareholder's Glee and, temporarily, commandeer it after breaking Master Klin-Fa from the brig. Not overly long: just enough to core a dozen old corvettes, three squadrons of fighters, and a pair of frigates, and a carrier, before scuttling the ship by crashing it into the surface of a moon.

The Duel for Ossus
The Duel for Ossus

This place is ancient. Before Xim, the natives erected it with crane, and water, and thought: The Sinesque Obelisk, a massive obelisk of the red sandstone, jutting half-a-kilometer into the sky. Ten floors of temples, fountains, gardens and more are contained inside, though the gardens lie long dead after the scourging by star that the Sith brought upon this place, and the fountains too are choked, parched, dead.

Your party enters the Obelisk. Keln Kelur, his Master Jaina at his right, and you at his left. He wears a simple white jumpsuit, a small utility belt, and a plain cloak.

"Are you ready?"

"I was born for this, Master." Keln draws his lightsaber and with a flourish, activates it, a bright yellow blade springing to life.

And then, you feel it. An emptiness, a lack; where compassion goes to die.

Turning around, you see him: Prince Ychann. His eyes are bright, fiery red; his muscles constantly flex and turn; and his teeth are set in a jagged, cruel look. He wears simple, practical attire, surprisingly: a purple duster over a simple yellow tunic and trousers, with boots black as his soul.

With a flourish, he draws his own lightsaber: one of the refurbished weapons of an inquisitor. "Come to die with your family?"

"No. I've come to stop you."

The two stare each other down.

Positioning 1: 88 VS ???

Keln shifts a right foot as a bead of sweat falls to the sandy, making a little speck of mud.

Ychann spins his lightsaber in his hands, until it guards his kidneys and right shoulder.

Positioning 2: 4+10=14 Vs. ???

Keln shifts to a single handed grip, and puts his right hand on his bicep.

Ychann shifts his legs forward, going low and strengthening his center.

Positioning 3: 26+10=36 Vs ???

Keln shifts a final time, puts his saber behind his back, an exaggeration of the Form V opening.

Ychann moves his head a bit, exposing less of it.

Then they roar and run at each other.

An End, Once and For All: 73+10=83 Vs. ???

Keln opens with a mighty overhand strike. Ychann manages to work the momentum into a spinning blow, but Keln blocks the attack. He slashes at Ychann's gut, who quickly turns it around to try and cut the Jedi's head off. Keln grabs the hilt in his hand, slices through one emitter, and as Ychann is stumbling, his blade flashes once; and where there was a whole throat, now there is a cut vein and a slowly stilling body.

Keln has won; and the Ysanna will have their republic, if they are willing to maintain it.

'Twitches' Did we seriously fail to catch Ashoka again?

Good run apart from that, though. I'm glad we caught whatever is up with the Fel Empire before it got out of hand, and the war is going well. Hopefully we can end it soon.

The Battle of Etti IV: Gathered into one, massive, spearhead, the Alliance Fleets- the Fifth, the Fourth, the Second and the First- have punched through the ancient droid fighters, bombed the world factories that spat out droid fighters, and with the help of Jedi distractions, finally entered the primary orbit of Etti IV. Through heavy fighting that left thousands dead they managed to disgorge their precious cargo of soldiers onto the world, of shining, glimmering steel towers and the most depraved, deprived slums. Blaster bolts fill the air, explosion scar streets, men die in ruins and all is unwell. The Corporate commanders are in agreement: they will fight it out on this line until they are choked out like the poison they are. As there are very many cities, towns, and so on which may be fortified to act as fortifications on the planet, you could be doing this for a very long time.

A Kidnapping In the Imperial Palace: Hanan-Fel Solo, princess of the Empire, has been kidnapped from the Imperial Palace on Bastion. CSA Forces attacked the New Empire's capital, Bastion. An attack on the Imperial Palace by a group of mercenaries allowed a smaller group to sneak in and snatch her from her nursery, where she was asleep.

Emperor Fel and Master Jaina Solo have headed to the battlefield, to rip answers from soldiers and find their daughter.

A New Breed of Fighter: According to rumor, Incom corporation is working to advance from the X-Wing series of Space-Superiority Fighter to a new type, one integrating the lessons they learned from both Galactic Civil Wars, the Clone Wars, and the current battle with the CSA. This will mean an end to five decades of continuous manufacture, and that a number of X-Wings are likely to hit the market as surplus, relatively soon.

Election Results: After six, painful, miserable months of mudslinging, debate-having, and poll-taking, the incumbent Galactic Chancellor, Odessus Tekemsah, has been returned to the position in a surprisingly close election. His party, Peace and Prosperity-- a market socialist economic platform with a more varied, pro intervention Social Stance, were returned to the Senate majority as well, with a majority of 610 Senators. 70 were members of the Imperial territory Ascendance party. 310 came from the Star Finder Party, propelled by the desire to make more contact with the rising Tetsujin people of Urion. The last ten represent the Hapans, by and large.

Ben, what are you packing!?

Unnecessary commas and words.

Oh no. I hope this is not part of what ever shifty thing is happening in the Empire.
Emperor Fel and Master Jaina Solo have headed to the battlefield, to rip answers from soldiers and find her daughter.
Their.

Forgot to post this with Galactic News, sorry about that:

I'll edit it in soon.

Jedi Council Meeting (Turn 8, 57 ABY)
Turn 8

57 ABY

The temple on Coruscant has its fair share of scars, but for something this important you need it.

Kira, the student of Ben Skywalker, is ready for her trials. In truth one could make the argument that her valor in this war has obviated the need for many, if not most of them: the scar on her arms speaks to her mastery of Flesh; that she is alive at all, her Skill; her Courage, in the battles she has stood against the enemy; her Spirit, in her turning against the Empire; and her Insight in disputing the deceit of the wealthy. But if you are going to do this (and you are doing this), you will not do it in the same way that damned Anakin Skywalker.

Which is why half of the Jedi Council is here, testing one girl.

The only truly unfortunate thing is that Master Solo, Jaina, is not here.

Instead she is...

(Smoke, fire, ash, death, loss. "Where is she?")

...indisposed. Fortunately, Master Katarn has more than enough ability to take her place as the proctor of the Trail of Skill. The first step on the long gauntlet Kira has chosen to test herself in.

First to face her superior in combat, as a test of Courage. Master Organa will arbitrate.

Master Cilghal, in the trial of Flesh. A false poison to be endured in a ten flight run, capped off by a standing leap to the cure.

A trial of insight. A negotiation with Master Barratk'l, to gain access to the next room.

To defeat Master Katarn. A trial of Skill.

And finally, to face herself in the mirror.

To face...you.

Small braziers leak smoke in the small garden once maintained by Master Yoda. stand sit at the center of a small island in the pond, where fish swim in perfect harmony. Small, artificial waterfalls throw up a fine blanket of mist that cools and revitalizes the flesh; the only mercy you will offer her today.

The braziers leak not any simple incense but the ash and smoke of the Nysha plant. On Arkania it is a popular stimulant, often mixed with baked goods to offer a clarity of mind and energy, or simply burned in the great bonfires you turn to for warmth when nothing more advanced is available.

To a human? It is a potent hallucinogen, one that the Sith use to open themselves for their bleak prophecies.

You hear the stone door grind open. Her thoughts betray her: she is confused, bewildered, lost.

Which, it must be said, was the purpose of the trials.

That said, you only want her lost metaphorically, not literally.

You wave your hand and the mists disperse, exposing your small island at the center.

Her hands go to her belt, though unlike your worst fear, she does not draw her saber. Instead she simply threads her fingers around them. She projects a quiet confidence as she walks, her power in the Force more sprawling than anything.

The temple Jedi do not know Ben's Padawan overly well, but the parallels exist and frighten in equal measure.

Consider: A powerful, charismatic Jedi from nowhere. An unorthodox teacher, in lessons, situation, or both. A duty, or destiny, that weighs heavy around them.

Do you speak of Exar Kun? Revan? Anakin?

The Order has failed this situation too many times as is; you will not fail again.

She bends at the waist to you. "Master Thorn."

You cross your arms and let your cloak lightly waft in the slight breeze thrown up by the mist. "Kira." Coincidentally distracting her as you shape the mists around her. Giving them a certain amount of substance.

"I am ready for the Trial."

"That waits to be seen."

"I have faced Master Solo. Master Cilghal. Master Barrakt'l. Master Katarn. I have earned the right."

"Earned? Or been given it by your Master? Without considering whether that was sagacious. Just. Noble. Simply seeing another Anakin Skywalker, and not the Vader that lurks within."

"...And what do you see when you look at me, Master?"

"Traya once called Revan power. Staring into the heart of the Force. Exar Kun was Vodo-Siosk Baas' greatest student, a thing from which no light escaped. Anakin Skywalker, a painter, who wielded the Force as an artist wields his easel.

And you? You are a lake, a whirlpool, pulling, channeling, gathering until all are caught up in your wake." The Nysha smoke has started to kick in, you can tell, as her pupils dilate. "Including my student. Including the Order. Including the Galaxy. And that is why I do not mean to test you... but to break you."

Which is when your lightsaber comes to your hand, and bites deeply into her.

Except not. The mist and light facsimile you have created would never pass muster if she was all together, but she is not. Instead she scrambles to grab her own blade, but not quick enough, and she roars as the mist 'plunges into her body' (not really, but bluntly she is higher than Cloud City at this point).

You fade into the mist, letting yourself travel with the currents of the Force. Shifting the mist. "You are a threat to the galaxy, to the Jedi, and to yourself. I will not allow you to leave here as such. By what right do you claim the ability to wield such power? What wisdom drives you? The half-considered teachings of Luke Skywalker's son?"

"You speak as though I had a choice."

You gesture for another phantom, only for Kira to cut into it, dissipating the entity. "Oh?"

"I did not choose the Force. This mantle was placed on me; I am called to it. I did not call for it."

"A fine statement to absolve yourself of responsibility?"

"What absolution! I am making the only choice I can! Turning away from the suffering of the galaxy is not an option?" She reaches out with the Force, and casts aside yet another of your duplicates.

"Oh? Then shall you take the weight of the galaxy's woes on your shoulders?"

"No. I shall obey the will of the Force."

She breathes once, twice, and as though struck by wisdom turns off her lightsaber and kneels.

"Do you believe that will be enough?"

Your duplicates surround her, their weapons raised.

"I think I have no better option. And so it must be."

She opens her eyes, back to normal, and with a dismissive snort blasts aside the mist and the smoke.

Revealing you, your hands empty and a smile on your face. "Kira. I find you worthy of the title of Jedi, Knight of the Alliance. We may hold the ceremony now; or you may wait until tomorrow."

"If it's all the same with you, I'd prefer to shower." Her stomach growls. "And eat."

(+1 Jedi Knight)

You have 11 (eleven) general dice, and 1 (one) single use guaranteed success Force Dice

Martial: As the war against the Corporate State has intensified, Master Solo has identified several faults with your ability to wage war. As well, however, she has identified solutions to the problems. She has also prepared a more...firepower heavy plan to remove Phasma from play.

[] Show of Force: The Hutts have also elected a new leader of their Cartel, Kada Dazh Tibure. Little is known of this Hutt, except for raw ambition-- you fear he may seek to take advantage of the Chaos. Dispatch Jedi to dissuade him, by patrolling the Mid-Rim nearby. (40%, 1 success)
[] Aid to the Slaves: A revolt has raged in the Corporate Sector for years, led by slaves and revolutionaries seeking freedom. The government under Daala helped her old Imperial buddies, and promised to arrest any Jedi that did not stay away from the Sector-- plenty went anyway, of course, but then the thing with the Sith and Abeloth happened. This new Chief of State, on the other hand, has already sent support, aid, and ships to the rebels, as well as millions of soldiers, with more, in surety, to follow. You certainly don't mind pummeling slavers. While you helped the war effort in the Star Battles, you could deploy Jedi to the occupation, as well. (50%, 2 successes)
[] Work With the Hapans: The Hapes Consortium is a small-- but vital-- part of the Galactic Alliance-- its coffers fund much of the rebuilding efforts from the seemingly endless war which has plagued recent decades-- if that is disrupted, millions, if not billions of beings will suffer, needlessly and painfully. Which makes it somewhat unfortunate that the great treasure ships of the Consortium are under threat by pirates and worse. Send the best Jedi pilots to protect them. (40%, 2 Successes)
[] Campaign-The Twelve Systems: The Galactic Alliance Military is pushing towards Etti IV, the capital of the Corporate Sector, with the hopes that ripping out their beating heart will end the war, decisively and quickly, in your favor. (50%, 1 Success)
[] Passing On Knowledge: Ensuring that the lessons you learned in the Issagra campaign are not forgotten will be important, for all your sakes. Record it, one way or another, so that it might be shared with all. (1 Success, 80%)
[] Industrial Independence pt1. Resources: Who the hell are you to try and funnel aid to rebels when you have no independent industrial capacity, free from the Galactic Alliance? Nobody, that's who. The first step is to acquire the supplies necessary to begin such construction. (60%, 3 Successes)
[] No Kill Like Overkill: That fancy armor of hers might block a glancing blow from a lightsaber, but odds are good that if you shoot Phasma with enough photon torpedoes, she'll lose that fight. Dispatch a squad of X-Wings, and deal with her. (1 Success, 60%)

Diplomacy: There are days it feels like every other faction in the galaxy, the rest of the Galactic Alliance not excluded, enjoys war; indulges in death; and dances with despair. Fortunate that you are here, then, to light the way.

[] Yuuzhan Vong Reconciliation: The Yuuzhan Vong were the enemy. Trillions died at their hands-- your first kill was crushing one under a pillar on Yavin IV. There has been a shallow peace between they and your people since, but it is not true peace-- only a lack of active violence. But perhaps it that can be set right, then the galaxy may be set right. (35%, 5 successes)
[] A New Temple: For the most part, there are too many abandoned Jedi ruins for you to feel comfortable opening new ones when you can just reclaim the old ones. The Frontier Star League, however, is a different case-- being utterly without Jedi beforehand, there are no temples here, nor enclaves, nor anything else. You ought, at least, to build a recruitment center. (60%, 3 Successes)
[] Chiss Assent: The Chiss Ascendancy is a potent state on the galactic stage. It is also unfathomably cruel to those Force Sensitives born inside its borders. There must be some way to cease the cruelty, the madness, and to bring an end to these crimes against life. (3 Successes, 40%)
[] What the Hell Ahsoka: What is the meaning of this? To seek to sabotage a war to free slaves? Has she fallen to the Dark Side? Taken all leave of her senses? Meet with this wandering quasi-Jedi, and determine why she would seek to cripple the war. (1 Success, 60%)
[] Jedi Negotiators: The Galactic Alliance, newly poised with the ascendance of the Frontier Star League as a member state, now plans to begin exploring further into the unknown regions. They have requested you dispatch Jedi to act as negotiators, in the hopes of keeping the peace should they meet natives. (1 Successes, 80%)
[] Tetsujin Territory: A new, ambitious, and dedicated people, the Tetsujin are rapidly expanding and integrating your own technology with theirs. You could help them develop, in return for their friendship and alliance. (60%, 1 Success)

Administration: While there tends to be an air of mystery, suspense and adventure around the Jedi, it does have one commonality with all other large groups-- namely, paperwork.

Actions:
[] Lost Worlds: While the Jedi Order greatly centralized following the Ruusan Reformations, and concentrated much of the strength of the Order on Coruscant, things are different now-- for one, they had up to 10,000 Jedi-- you have all of 1,000. They could patrol all of the galaxy, even with that great inefficiency-- you, on the other hand, might be well served by reestablishing the many Enclaves and Praxeums of the Old Order, or establishing your own. (50%, 2 Successes)
[] Check Ups: There is a certain generation, born between the Empire's rise and collapse, which was never thoroughly checked for Force Sensitivity. Finding them now could be useful. (60%, 2 successes)
[] Colonial Investment: Plenty of people are making the journey into the Unknown Reaches, to found new settlements on uncharted, unknown worlds-- and they require resources. Say what you will, but a Jedi is a pretty potent resource. (50%, 1 success)
[] Expand: The testing centers you established on Javin, Hosnian Prime, and Belsalvis are prime candidates to be further improved into fully functional Enclaves; not temples, not yet, but quite functional as centers of Jedi teaching and recruitment on those worlds. You need only put forth the credits. (4 Successes, 50%)
[] Need Resources, Will Travel: The Galactic Alliance knows of plenty of marginal planets which, nevertheless, have exploitable resources. While the average person can not survive there, a Jedi could. You could very well have your Jedi colonize these planets for them, in exchange for a cut of the resources, which your crafters can use to expand their wares. (3 Successes, 75%)

Knowledge: It is the way of a Jedi to learn and to teach-- to be, in their time, both student and master.

[] Weaving Webs: Despite their fearsome appearance, the Lucent are a people of peace and calm-- they could teach the Jedi much, and vice versa. Travel to the Voidfire Nebula, and seek an audience with them. (50%, 1 Success)
[] Bird Brained: The Talortai are, to a man, Force Sensitive-- but they hate this, and few have ever become Jedi or Sith. You imagine there is a story here-- you would like to know it. (40%, 1 Success)
[] Hiding Holocrons (Special from Mystic): Repositories of Sith and Jedi knowledge, there are plenty of Holocrons floating throughout the galaxy-- some in private collections, some in your own archives, and some lost until the Force should will otherwise. Seeking these out should be a top priority. (40%, 3 Successes)
[] Seek the Jal Shey: An order of diplomats, scholars, and intellectuals, the Jal Shey seek to understand the Force from a more-- scientific perspective. They seek to sew peace, order, and justice where they travel, and would leave the galaxy a better place for their having been in it. Seek to learn more from them and of them. (60%, 2 Successes)
[] Trailian Contact: Universally Force-Sensitives, the Trailians were introduced to the wider galaxy by Cronal experimenting on them, attempting to turn them into warriors. While the New Republic and Galactic Alliance have attempted to heal those wounds, they are less than interested in interaction with the galactic community. Perhaps the Jedi can help? (50%, 1 Success)
[] Reclaim Ilum: Arsenal of the Jedi, it is where you once built lightsabers, long ago. But now it is lost to you, and you would reclaim what has been taken. It will take time, but it should not be difficult-- only tedious. (100%, 6 Successes)
[] Finding Ahch-To: Once the Order's Graveyard, Ahch-To has been lost to you for many centuries now, after being taken by the Sith. However, a wandering vagabond, smuggler, and mercenary, Explar Erandal, has reported finding star charts leading to the missing world and requests an escort to find them. The risk is real; but, if it is truly Ahch-To, you have not choice but to take it. (1 Success, 12 Jedi, 1 X-Wing Squadron, 60%)

Intrigue: There are matters, even for the Jedi, that require a certain sense of subtlety.
Actions:
[] Where Are They?: As surely as do the Jedi, the Sith have their places of power. (70%, 3 Successes)
[] Gone To The Galaxy: A fleet's worth of Starships does not simply disappear. Thousands of man hours, countless credits, innumerable warriors, all gone, disappeared past the galaxy's edge into the void of nothing, where no-one can find them. No-one, that is, but the Jedi, who cast their light wide indeed, and bright too. (???)
[] In Shadowed Repose: Some of your Jedi know how to be...subtle. Discreet. Unknown. Deploy them to aid the Evocii in their revolutionary efforts, and in turn, to perhaps avoid a war with hutts as well as with the bankers. (1 Success, 50%)
[] Tarisian Thieves: Someone has stolen Captain Rex's armor from the Tarisian Museum which it was once stored in. Find out who, find out why, and if you can, get it back. Preferably in one piece. He was a friend to the Jedi; he deserves better. (1 Success, 60%)
[] Saber to Staff: Rather than a whole bombing run to kill one woman, you will send a single Jedi. (1 Success, 50%)

Personal: Insomuch as any Jedi Master can have free time, this represents yours.

Actions:
[] Train Your Style: While you are already greatly skilled in Medium Style, you would like to become even more dangerous with it-- push it beyond the average, start innovating the Style beyond the rut it has fallen into since the rediscovery of the classic forms. (50%, 5 successes required)
[] Find a Form: You will ask Master Katarn to begin teaching you in one of the seven classical Forms. (50%, 1 Success required)
[] Seeking Companionship: You are a Jedi; you have had no time for love, and it holds no sway over you. Surely. You are fine returning to an empty bed each day, growing older, with few friends, none in your odd age group. Or perhaps you are lying? Perhaps you are lonely? Perhaps no man is an island; perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. Who can say, really, except you, yourself, and the Force. And you might be too neurotic for that one, even. (100%, 1 Success, begin Romance plot with voted on character)
[] Seeking Wisdom (Mystic): You thought this might be the case-- but one of your texts, when compared with a text from the Grandmaster's personal library, has revealed a hidden treasure-- what, you could not say. (60%, 3 Successes)
[] Take the Field: They want the Jedi to contribute more to the war effort? Fine. You, and your Padawan, will personally take to the field. It will be good practice for the both of you. (100%, 1 Success)
[] A Trial Of Spririt: Certain rumors and your Padawan's growth have come together to put a thought into your head. It is known that Darth Vader kept Mace Windu's lightsaber as a trophy after slaying him so long ago. It is suspected that coordinates found on computers in his former castle on Mustafar lead to the legendary Sith World of Exegol, where master and apprentice rested and planned and hid their dirty money; a dark bank on a dirt-ball of a planet, staffed by cultists, to hide their ill-gotten gains. Send Allana to retrieve the Lightsaber of Mace Windu as her Trial of Spirit. So that she may see what her Grandfather was truly like, and ask herself if she would share his fate.
[] Pester Ben Skywalker: He has the skill, and he has the age, and he has the student; the only thing now required for Ben Skywalker to claim the title of Jedi Master is your assent; and his own, potential, lack of desire, considering it is incredibly more work to be a Master than a Knight. But the Grandmaster pestering him should, hopefully, convince him to do it. If he did, he would be a young Master, though far from the youngest; more importantly, it would position you to place him on the Council, which should allow you to have an even more efficient Order than the one you already have. (100%, 1 Success)

As a suggestion, we should be investing our Force Dice in Vong reconciliation over time. It's important that we get that done eventually before it comes back to bite us, but at 35% spending regular dice on it just isn't efficient. That's where Force Dice will get the most use.

I also think we should keep an eye out for options that are likely to offer extra dice or other permanent bonuses. One promising candidate I see right now is Pester Ben Skywalker. Hard to say about others.
