It goes boom. I'll grant you that we probably will get things that we would probably not stumble across for a while. As for materials, how about integrating different materials to get better effects. Psionic amps, better shielding, better gathering of particles and solar rays, tougher trees, more mobile trees.

That's not an offensive weapon, that's a defensive weapon. I, as a root tree, want something to shoot my enemies with before we get to defense weapons.

We can't murderhobo properly stuck in one place. But in all seriousness we seem to be in a fairly contested region of space and I would very much like to be elsewhere.

Does quoting other people's votes mess with the tally?

So with current vote's it look's like well be trailblazing screaming our crystalline head's off to anyone unfortunate enough to cross our path without actually having any idea of where were going...
Our neighbors will be regretting their decision very soon :V

I'm most interested in this, as we currently completely lack offensive capabilities.

The only thing I really don't want is political info, as mechanically, we have no way to interact with it yet.

Well.. isn't that what were already doing?
Plus it's also knowing about local hotspot's aka where the good star system's are for eating that sweet sweet energy for whatever we want to repurpose for.
Brown Dwarf star's are the bottom of the barrel for all star type's in term's of energy output, if we want to stock up on energy literally any other star is better than what were currently saddled with.
Flying blind into a system filled with raiders, blackholes, or startling local's who have no idea about us ain't exactly (pardon the pun) the brightest idea..

I'm not going to ask about good places to go out for food if I can't get there. We need to be able to do things before we start trying to do them.
 
Well yea but movement through the star's is gonna be a nonissue pretty quick if the vote is any indication, were not space locked anymore with the treaty helping us on that front.
Edit- If anything were gonna be zipping around like a ping pong ball on fire with all the success's we'd make for the mind tree's being tutored and making researching movement tree's.

So we're gonna be a wandering mind crushing forest. Zooming through the Galaxy and force choking meat bags who stand in our ways to... Get huge. This heart tree is alright with this.
