The Adverse of the Gods and Men (NO SV, You are gonna build a Civilization on a Deathworld, and you are going to like it!)

Hey when you are immortal things get very lonely even if humanity is destroyed you just want to die and be over with it to me it seems Salem has narcissistic personality probably gotten from her dad and in here a weird alternate mental issue
I fail to see how trying to kill herself to escape being trapped on an empty world after attempting to kill the gods in an act of spite for them repeatedly resurrecting and killing the love of her life in front of her makes her narcissistic.

There's no alternate mental issue at all, she grieved, became depressed, clung to the only thing she thought could help and then the gods decided to mash her trauma button repeatedly right when she thought she'd succeeded to the point she went berserk. It's very very human to do so.

Then, when she was still seething with rage, they made her immortal (messing with the balance they were just done lecturing her about) and told her to go away and learn her lesson. Instead she (quite rightly in my opinion) decided to say 'fuck that' and attempted to kill them in a final act of spite, assuming that if she failed she'd die and be with Ozma.

At which point the Gods doubled down, deleted everyone but Salem and decided that leaving her on a dead world for millions of years to wait for new humans to evolve would somehow make her hate them less. The whole Ozma situation afterwards was just the cherry on top of the shit sundae they were making out of her life.

None of those things are indicative of Salem originally being narcissistic, her current canon personality might have hints of that now but you have to bear in mind that it's mostly a mask. After the death of her daughters what was left of the original Salems personality is almost certainly gone, the only thing keeping her going at this point is pure spite and the unwillingness to let the gods/Ozma win after everything thats been done to her.

All because she asked the wrong god to help first.

[X] Plan:Ever Boon a Curse
-[X]The Nest of the Dark Lands, a Fertile Region between two vastly different places on the same contiant, it was still, as if something terrifying existed just beyond the mountains. (The Dark Continent)
-[X] The Adversus Tribe
-[X]A Mix of Both
-[X]The Light of the Stars: The Starlight of the Heavens has always been your guide above, sometimes when the tribe sleeps they hear laughter and whispers of a better age, and a possibility of what could be. (Start with 2 Sage/Piety AP as you get some help from friendly ghosts that want to help you for a time)
-[X]Children of the Broken Moon: When the Tribe was born it survived a great storm of stars in the valley of its creation, the star metal made the first weapons in Man's arsenal, you used them to fight the Grimm in the Battle of the Orange Meadows when Man finally told the Grimm that Extinction was no longer going to just happen in this day, they will fight long and forever against it. (You start with Iron weapons and the ability to make iron weapons from meteors and other exotic space metals. And yes, you use iron when some people still use copper and stones)
-[X]The Child God's Wayfinder: It had come to your Sage's in a Dream, a Baby of an idea, a representation of possibility, they knew not what to make of it. But to follow the crys and prey to the little being inside of their mind that wants to awaken (You got a little spirit looking out for you, and it needs love and prayers to stay alive.)
-[X]Lord of Hope: You had been blessed with a great many things, a taller and stronger body, greater senses and feelings along with a dream of something resembling a stronger lifeforce, a longer lifespan perhaps, the oldest among the tribe is Forty? (Your tribe has an extended lifespan, are taller and stronger then average thanks to ...an incident in the ages past. This has made many enemies)
-[X]The Silverlights of the Starry Heavens: A Set of Silver Eyes grace your visage, a gift of unknown origin that has seen your tribe through the darkest of nights and Darkest of battles. It has been one of the finest gifts you have been given, and yet like things it comes with a price. (Silver Eyes, your tribe have a bunch of people with silver eyes and other people want them)
-[X]The First Kinslayers: You've stained the Land and Slain your own Kin. This has stained your tribe forever, none will speak to you and may wish your tibe dead, all of them do, for a crime such as that cannot be forgiven. (You killed your kin, and now alot of people want to kill you horribly for it. Negotiating with people is a bit awkward if not dangerous.)
-[X]Cursed By Darkness and the Light: Your tribe once met two brothers and spurned them for rude and obstructive behavior, a sense of arrogance they possessed drove your tribe to cast them out. That was the final mistake your predecessor ever did as he was completely obliterated by the concept of Entropy and Life energy making him long for death so badly that he jumped into a volcano...you think he's finally dead. But the point stood that you antagonized something very powerful and they are out to get you. You think for amusement of some amount of slighted pride for not respecting the authority of guest rights, the host is the master of the hall not the guest. (You antagonized the Gods when they came to check on things and they want you to suffer for a thousand moons (At least 20 years), for a frankly petty reason, your sages even pointed out he was in the right and they didn't care, because you made them look bad...something about authority being challenged.)
-[X]Greed of the Undivided Sun: You made terrible mistakes, coveting another man's possessions, several times...it got to the point where the tribe was not welcome to the great gathering on fear of stealing everything not tied down, now that's ridiculous, we only steal from people we don't like. (Your tribe are known as bandits, thieves and brigands to even the most spread out of places, some details were messed up and they think your greedy grimm, or something dumb like that.)
-[X]The Kinstrife of the First Sunrise: Your tribe has suffered a bit of bad luck as of late...and by bad luck you mean nearly annihilated by about 2 other greater tribes that wanted your land, food, children and daughters, you father objected to that...and much of your tribe went to make peace after winning a battle. That was the worse mistake they ever made as Three quarters of your tribe was murdered under a symbol of peace, and you were forced to flee with what remained of the tribe...never go to a peace deal without wearing armor. (You lost 3/4s of your population to a betrayal under a peace banner, and you have to deal with that mess now.)
-[X]The Evertide of Darkness: The Grimm really want to kill you, its like they love the taste of your blood and bones...this is awful...GO KILL SOMEONE ELSE YOU SOULLESS BASTARDS!! (The Grimm want to kill your tribe specifically, like they want you dead before something happens.)

I think it is one boon to one curse. This plan would be rough, though I chose for both thematic and long-term reasons. Could see the three curses being tied together quite easily, Grimm because they are at least loosely tied to the gods, and the incident for being murdered under the flag of piece being tied to our incident with the gods.
Not sure about location or name though...

Edit: The idea here is this tribe is down on it's luck and desperate with things starting to go wrong when they called out the gods over their behavior, and became reviled, forced out of wherever they tried to settle, developing a reputation at thieves and became known as the Junkers as they desperately try to scrape by, until most got massacred under a flag of peace, sending them fleeing to where we start, with only the ghosts of the old sages keeping the tribe alive by giving much-needed hope....

Meta-wise, besides the ghost ones, the boons have very good long-term potential, if we survive the early-game, and the ghost one, I chose both for the thematic and hoping they might provide a morale boost....

Figure our tribe could have fled to the place where it all began after a peace treaty gone wrong (the conflict started by our rampant kleptomania) and have a ghost from the past help them rebuild the place into something better, avoiding the Silver eyes rather than jumping on that train because it puts us on a collision course with Salem and closes off several potential things we could do in the future.

Bigger bodies and cursed by the gods because it seems like being slightly better than the rest of humanity while touched by the energies of the worlds dumbest twins could have some interesting effects down the line (especially with the ghosts helping us out).

Depending on how things go we could eventually just get to the point that the kleptomania is seen as a cultural trait rather than us just being out and out bandits (our people would be the quirky tribe/kingdom who can't keep their hands out of other peoples pockets, like a less annoying version of Kender). The iron weaponry is because it's a nice boost and works well with our peoples stronger bodies.

Edit: also Kinslayer and Beasts folly curses seem like they'd have some really bad long term effects, would rather be a cursed, greedy people that are on the run that deal with the added stigma of being seen as kinslayers and cannibals (not to mention the internal problems that would likely crop up from that).

2nd Edit: Choosing Silver eyes seems like a really bad idea (despite how much i know a lot would want it) mostly because it means Salem will always be gunning for us if/when she gets going (sure she might send Grimm at us anyway but that wouldn't be personal, as opposed to the targeted mayhem she'd unleash if we had Silver eyes as she'd see us as an existential threat to her plans) and that we'd have to also deal with Ozma constantly popping in to yoink/manipulate any silver eyed warriors we have for his own plans.

Go big or go home. Besides this is the best chance for us to rapidly diverge from canon and actually build something that is definitely our own and possibly a better alternative. Interesting Times may come our way but that doesn't mean that we couldn't enjoy the ride.

Part of me wants to see what will happen if all the boons and curses where taken.

I completed my plan. And yes, I know the name is ironic....

Edit: I realized, in my first 'character creation' vote, I tried my hand on developing my plan into a sort of backstory.......

Honestly it just doesn't seem worth it, with the behavior the Kin slayer and Beast Folly curses imply combined with the greed one it would basically make us the fanon version of the Branwen clan, just with added Silver eyes so that both Salem and Ozma have a vested interest in fucking with us later on.

At least mine only went with one direct reputation harming option.....

Edit:Though getting retribution-ed by the gods might not be good in the reputation department either....

mine is just the set up to a heroic race. think how the aos sí were in myth always fighting off wave after wave of monsters. that's what i want for our people. not someone who's caused problems for others but a people who have been hated for their blessings and must fight for their people and way of life. a people truly suited to survival on a world like remnant

Eh its fine, being exposed to the gods energy and being cursed by them could both be beneficial in the long run once the 20 years are up so its not as bad as it seems.

Grimm one is arguably worse as it means that either Salem is trying to kill us from the very start, the Grimm are acting without her command to murder us before we can talk to her or that if we run into her the GoD is going to 'assume direct control' through his unwilling apostle and attempt to destroy us all personally depending on how bad what we're fated to do is.

Some of the boons are fairly bad too, the Silver Eyes have a ton of downsides (locks several options, guarantees Ozma interference, potential godly interrupt due to unknown origins etc) while the wayfinder could be influenced by things we forget to pay attention to (Child god being influenced by Kinslayer and Beast folly curses for example could be extremely bad, could end up creating our own version of Angra Mainyu).
