While I hear the siren call of mystery boxes, keeping children safe is the sort of thing you have to do by principle alone.

True. On the other hand their two school teachers are like 5ft away. I feel this is moving them from 90% safe to 100% and it also happens to be the action that takes us directly away from the fight putting the defenders in even more risk.
