[X] He

As the protagonist is a confirmed androphile, I propose this in order to make the Petals universe double gay.

[X] Plan: Mercury's Revenge
- [X] Ex Divine Navy
- [X] Determined
- [X] Scatterbrained

We tried so hard at our job, but were so inept that we ended up joining the rebellion instead.
Now it's time to bring that bumbling talent of ours to the other side.

I'm looking for a character with a haunted past who can bring much-needed professionalism to the independence movement, but has a hard time making friends due to lingering trauma and soldierly instincts. I'm also a firm believer in bringing the gay. This character should ideally wear some kind of mask to conceal their identity.

[X] He

[X] Plan: Starlight Crusader
-[X] Ex Divine Navy
-[X] Practical
-[X] Brittle

Okay, as everyone's explaining their perceived character, I more or less imagine someone who's comfortably numb to the experience of fighting a hopeless fight against the hegemony they used to serve. On the surface, that is.

But, because all the trauma, well, all the PTSD, that they somewhat unsuccessfully try to hide.

Gender? Eh. I'm fine with whichever, I think. In fact, let me

Well, okay.

I like the Solo-esque vote, but I also want to do the compassion/conniving combo cause it looks pretty interesting :)

Yeah, compassionate/conniving seems like it'll have some particularly interesting dimensions to it.

For those considering voting for "The Raider of Ganymede", remember that we've already played a fairly uncomplicated "good girl" in Petals of Titanium, and that Petals of Carbon Steel affords us a chance to play as an insurgency, which is an excellent context under which play someone else other than "someone super nice".

I'm into Byronic Hero/ines anyways. And I like the idea we're doing work behind-the-scenes.

EDIT: Also, the Esther Strova is named after the character Esther Strova. Given what happened to her - an in-joke between @Gazetteer and I - I'm sure we're all going to be fine.

Watched through The Expanse a few weeks back, think I might be in the mood to play Ashford.

Being sneaky for the good of others could be interesting.
