It might be more subtle to push her away, maybe do some menacing or make things look like enough of a hassle that they'll decide to take off, and being aggressive probably is going to lead into some kind of trap or later problem... but, well, Solars sometimes gotta Solar up and hit a fang-faced abomination with another fang-faced abomination.

Anyone have any good guesses what the guy on the ground is? We know he's not human.

No way Malcolm is going to ignore this abuse. And while crushing a vampire's hand isn't exactly keeping your head down it's not like Malcolm can let these guys get away to tell other vampires about him anyway. Might as well go all in and make sure the only witness left is the victim.
