LOTR: An Orc Quest

Even Hobbits can recognize Orcs and Goblins. And how did he get past the rangers in that hypothetical scenario?

You don't know what to say and can only hope Grashki doesn't fall for the trap. As strong as the Uruk was, he wasn't that bright you had noticed. If he knows answered in the wrong way, he will condemn you all to the worst death that was possible. A Dark Lord would never allow his servants to be free
remove "knows" or change it to "now"

[X] "North of here are the Trollshaws, somethings has put them at a fancy."
"something has"

[X] "The passes over the Misty Mountains aren't free for travelers, change that."

Part 5
"The passes over the Misty Mountains aren't free for travelers, change that."

You look for a moment in the distance were you know the mountains of Dwarfen Death lie and nod then. You had heard that some of the passes had been re-occupied by the Great Goblin Kingdom or Gundabad. At least the letter had done so on orders of Mordor. But the Goblin had done so on their own. As far as you knew, they hadn't yet sworn loyalty towards Sauron. Maybe they could be swayed in the direction of Búbhosh-Ghâsh.

On the other hand, it could be much more fun if they would try to resist. Goblins always had the numbers but the spines of cockroaches. Other than your own kin, some of the passes might be held by different things, but you would deal with them, in the proper orc way.

"We will kill any who dare to bare travel through the passes, master! Or those who don't pay the proper tax for doing so!" The other Uruk's agree with full shoots and banging their fists against their armor. Your master watches this with a bit of concern on his face before it vanishes.

"No, no taxes, tribute, or something else!" He says forcefully. When he notices your stunned face, he sighs heavily. "See, Sauron wants the passes closed or that these, who use them, pay him for it - there for submitting themselves to him. But if travelers could use them freely, it would hurt Sauron in more than just one way. You understand?"

It made your head hurt a bit, but you tried to understand what you master wanted. "So … if the travelers can use the passes freely, it hurts the imposter. Because they don't fear him?"

"Yes! And that will weaken his grip around Middle-Earth. And all of that simply because some passes are open. You learn quickly, my friend." Your new master says with praise in it. "Now that will not be an easy task, but I'm sure you and your friends will manage it."

"We will claim victory over the lackeys of Sauron, Búbhosh-Ghâsh! Uruk-hai!" Grashki shoots, and his Uruk's quickly join his chanting of Uruk-hai. You grin at your new master who seems, just for a moment, to look with worry at the Uruk-hai, but that couldn't be. A thing so mighty would never fear Uruk's.

"Master, what sign are you using to show your power?" You quickly asked, remembering the red eye of Sauron. It would feel good to bear the mark of a true master for the first time in your life. You couldn't wait to hear what it was so you could put it on your armor and bear it proudly into war. Too long, you had gone without a banner to fight below.

Choose one:

After he had described his sign, you felt better to now the symbol you would fight under. The others had the same feeling, a quick look at their savage faces told you just that. With a huge grin, you looked back at your master.
"Any other rules for the fighting, Búbhosh-Ghâsh?"

"No." He said but then hold up a hand. "Wait, no killing of elves, men, dwarfs, or halflings. And no eating either." There is some rumbling coming from the Uruk's, Grashki quickly ends these with some snarling and a well-placed backhand.

"It will be done, master!"

[x] Sword and Shield
[x] Crossbow and Short Sword
High-tech/high-industry are part of our values so these make the most since. Spears are a very low-tech weapon (sometimes no better than sharpened wood), and bows are artisanal weapons.

No idea on the name though. Someone more fluent in tolkien languages make it happen please!

[X] Uruk-hai, the breed created to end the world of tark's

guys Uruk-Hai are known for having some concept of loyality and honor and since we went for Gandalf we should go for something that is less of beast and more of barbarian.
