LOTR: An Orc Quest

Part 2
Your new master's cunning was great, indeed! For he was hiding behind the mask of an old man who looked disgustingly kind. A long, gray beard covered much of his face, and he wore a grey coat as he was sitting by a fire, alone in the lands below Angmar. He was giving away his true nature by two things: one, he was breathing smoke, and second, on his hand was a ring that was singing with power.

You approached carefully and slowly, fearing that he would destroy you either by his power or his guards. But the closer you came, it was more and more apparent that there weren't any guards who would try to stop you. That only reassured your feelings even more that this was the true Dark Lord; he didn't fear the world, let alone a single orc creeping at night. For a short moment you toyed with the idea to try and get the jump on the new Dark Lord, as a last test for him - but that idea vanished as quickly as it had come. You hadn't searched him out just to be killed in a stupid move, you weren't like the regular dumb orc! That was the reason why you were here, you as the only orc you knew, had seen the lies of Sauron.

Suddenly the old man stood up and looked into the dark directly at you. The fire should have made him blind to your approach, you think, but then remember what and who this old man was.

"I know you're there! Show yourself!" The voice of the old man booms out and is commanding. You can't ignore it. You stand up, alone and without any cover in the dark, slightly shaking. That voice is cold and hard. No living thing can withstand it, you've to follow the order given. Hopefully, the Dark Lord would found you not lacking and take you into his service.

"An orc?" The Lord said more to himself than to you as he steps closer. A light, like starlight was coming from his staff. It felt like a good, old stabbing into your eyes as you fearful couldn't look away, not even blinking. "What does an orc doing here. Sneaking around my camp in the dark of the night, I wonder?"

You can't say anything, your muscles don't listen to your commands as you're under the spell of the Dark Lord. You only can wait and let him muster you. He comes closer and inspects you carefully but far enough away that he could quickly draw his sword and strike you down if he wanted. Now that you're closer to him, you can feel his mighty power, his masquerade can barely hold it all back, and you realize that he knew for a long time that you were coming. Without any doubt, he had been amused by your pitty attempts at stealth. How could you ever think you could watch him without him realizing you were watching him?

"Well, now? Don't you will answer my questions? What mischief were you planning on dear, old me?"

The moment he demands an answer, the spell loses slightly, you can feel it. It isn't enough for you to move again, but enough that you can speak. "I've searched for you far and wide. But I couldn't find you anywhere, not in Gundabad, not in Dwarven Death or Angmar. You hide well."

"Mhm, that is the strangest compliment I've ever been given. And the first coming from an orc, how curious. But why did you seek me out?"

"To serve you."

"To serve me?" The old man looks surprised at you, his eyebrows seem to vanish beneath his hat. "Now, that is something I haven't been expecting coming from anyone, let alone an orc. Curious times. Who do you think you will serve if you serve old me?"

Durb-Ghâsh - Rule Fire or like I like to think of it Ruling Flame / Fire.
Búbhosh-Ghâsh - Great Fire or like I like to think of it Great Fire / Great Flame.

[X] "Búbhosh-Ghâsh, the new, true Dark Lord!"
Gandalf ain't gonna accept the ruling thing
Great fire is
Pretty accurate, especially since he has the elven ring of fire

[X] "Búbhosh-Ghâsh, the new, true Dark Lord!"

Part 3
"Búbhosh-Ghâsh, the new, true Dark Lord!"

"Hmh." The old man looks at you for a long time in silence. As he did so, a small puff of smoke left his mouth as he sucked on a strange device he was holding. "Búbhosh-Ghâsh, a new name for me, it seems and so ironic. Tell me, my orcish stalker, why do you think that I'm the new, true Dark Lord? What about Sauron?"

You can't help but make a sound of disgust as he speaks the name of the pretender. "What about him? He is fake! He might have once been mighty, but what is he know? Nothing more than a shade hiding behind mountains, too afraid to come out! You've seen it, master, don't you? On my search for you, I came through many lands hold by men. Their defenses are weak, we could take them easily with the army in Mordor. But Sauron fear's them for some reason. If he would truly be what he once was, the war had been won long ago. No, it dawned to me that he was weak and hiding it behind a masked of strength. When I realized that, I started to look for the one who had stolen his power. And I found you, master, filled with powerful magic you barely can hide it behind this wrinkling, old man disguise you wish to show your enemies. But old Ganush taught me good! I can feel your power, more power than I've ever seen from Sauron."

You don't say that you never meet Sauron in person, but that didn't change the fact that you feel disgusted whenever you think about the fake Dark Lord. Hopefully, this new master of yours will accept your service because you don't have a plan for the case that he doesn't. When you've said your bit, you only can wait for your new master's reaction. For a moment, he stares into your eyes, not saying anything but producing more puff of smoke.

"Hm." He stepped closer, and suddenly you feel the unseen bonds that hold you back, vanish. You can move again and do so quickly, to kneel before your new Lord. "You're quick in naming me your new master, without knowing me. What if I'm not better than your old master, powerless and afraid?"

For a moment, you're shocked to hear these words from him. Your resolve that he was the true Dark Lord was for a moment in question, but then you realize the truth. This is a test by Búbhosh-Ghâsh to see if you're genuinely mean your words. Stubborn, you return the look of your master.

"You won't." That is all that you say in response to his obvious trap. After you've answered with these two words, you steel yourself for the punishment that inevitably will follow. But it doesn't come.
The old man continues to look at you in silence as the smoke forms ring's around his hat. You blink, and the rings are gone again. For an amount of time, you can't precisely name he seems to look at you, silently judging you.

"And why should I take you into my service?"

You give the old man a big grin as you finally have a chance to present your gift to him. It had been on your quest when you realized you couldn't come before your new master without something that would prove your intentions.

Sounds like Aeglos, the spear of Gil-Galad. I seriously doubt Gandalf would accept a large group of orcish retainers.

[X] A mighty elven artifact stolen from the swamps outside of Mordor
-[X] The scepter of an ancient king

Because its obvious our new lord uses a staff, might as well give him a lesser one, while telling him it is lesser to avoid offense, to show our observation skills
