Shattered Empire: A Noble Warlord Quest (CKII)

That option isn't a superior alternative to just building stuff manually - it only saves one turn and one action but spends a 30k premium and clogs up limited building slots with suboptimal buildings like orbital extraction facilities. We'd be better off just spending the money + actions on more spaceports/extraction facilities. Also, we can't afford to fit Letom into current budgets without massive debts.

I'm not actually sure we should do the Butcher's Bill action because of how underwhelming Letom proves the sort of action it might unlock to be.
I should note that these actions also have the chance of unlocking further, more cost-effective actions down the line. Letom is just a little more pricy ATM since it's more about setting up the basic infrastructure that will lead to advancement.
@inquisition arnt starports a bit op given they provide more base income and a percentage increase? Orbital extraction seems pointless.
I have been considering upping the output of the extraction facilities to make them more viable, or imposing a limit on spaceports in the same way that urban centers are limited. We'll see how it goes.

According to these legends, as a prolific student of tactics, Yusopova recognized the genius of the young Rurik, and with that alone, betrayed her friend and liege lord at the height of the battle, tipping a close encounter in the favor of the conqueror.
Of course, these are legends. What is more likely is that this betrayal was planned, and as the notoriously-methodical histories of House Goryemkin show no battles with Petrov or Yusopov forces in that time, it is likely that the "dramatic return," if it happened at all, was likely planned and agreed upon months in advance. As for the reasons beyond Anna Yusopova's betrayal of Lord Arkady, theories range from simple ambition to a pragmatic desire not to meet the fate of those who had resisted Rurik in the past. It is, after all, rather doubtful that such a loyal lord would have turned her coat over something as comparatively trivial as ship positioning.
Legend or not, not a legacy you'd want to have.
They also have a longstanding blood feud with House Goryemkin. This arose in the 1800s Shahzad, when Nikolai II Rurikovich (known as "The Craven," not the most stellar endorsement) sat the Emerald Throne. A weak Tsar meant that both Houses saw an opportunity for self-aggrandizement, and as Nikolai II was nephew of Duchess Maria Yusopov by marriage, they thought they would have a chance for conquest at then-Duke Dimitri Yusopov's expense.
Not sure if a coincidence, or intentional historical reference.

[] Plan: Counting Beans
-[] Receive the Lords' Fealty
-[] The Butcher's Bill
-[] Reestablishing Control - House Al-Mufti
-[] A Coronation for the Ages
-[] Secrets of the Tsarina
-[] Major Tatiana Chernova
--[] Reestablishing Control - House Massarde
-[] Commodore Pyotr Chekhov
--[] Fund Construction - Extraction Facility: Cost 10,000, income 12,000 per turn. Build time: 3 turns (Moskva).
-[] Colonel Daria Varyanova
--[] Fund Construction - Extraction Facility: Cost 10,000, income 12,000 per turn. Build time: 3 turns (Kyif).
-[] Death. End this with finality and send your traitorous little bastard to the executioner. Bonus to Fear.

Funds: 59,481
Cost: 46 000

We can wait for the establishing diplomatic relations with the other houses, first we must ensure that our vassals are in line. We need to also take account of what Iva's actions cost us and with our Int and Tatiana's action ensure that we can reestablish our spy network amongst the other houses. Our coronation is of course granted and I'd really prefer we learn about who was the real mastermind behind Ivan's coup before they make their next move, then go to Terra.

No Learning or Martial actions, since we're low on funds and we need to save some money for next turn. As for our other hero units, putting them in charge of constructing new Extraction facilities for that income we desperately need. Not ideal, but they're easy actions, with DC 20, and we need to start building them ASAP since it takes 3 turns for them to be built and grant us 19 440 dinars per turn (we lode 19% of our income due to maluses).

As for Ivan, executing him is the safest option, though I'd be ready to change it to imprisonment if people want, since it would give us a Love boost and those are not easy to get, and we're very close at raising its deeper value to the next level.

This is going to bankrupt us.

Infantry Legion-10,000.00-1,000.002
Armor Legion-15,000.00-1,500.002
You're spending 40 000 on troops.
Oh, so that's where that info was hiding. Thanks, I'm removing the Martial option from the plan, no money.

@inquisition
If we have one or more ministries doing nothing, would it be possible to move one of their actions to another ministry for that turn?

No, afraid not.

Sorry, typo - that should've been Maria Goryemkin.

Moratorium is over - voting will be open until the day after Christmas at around 1:00, maybe longer if I feel it's needed.

[X] Damage Done and New Frontiers
-[] Receive the Lords' Fealty: While you have appointed one of your major vassals as a diplomatic advisor, and another is your beloved uncle, tradition would still be good to adhere to. Call the lords of your fief to Posadka, in order to officially bend the knee and accept you as the new Tsarina.
Cost: 1,000 dinars Difficulty: DIP difficulty 30-26=4 Time: 1 turns Reward: Small Fame increase, potential increase in PR with one of the three vassals
-[] The Butcher's Bill: Hoo boy. Ivan… has not made this an easy transition. Posadka, the ancient Rurikovich capital, looks like a warzone. The Mir system's orbitals are in shambles, people are terrified, and the coffers have taken a major hit. Before any major rebuilding and rearming can be done, we have to figure out just how badly we were hit. Cost: 10,000 dinars, a big ol' headache Difficulty: STE difficulty 40-31=9 Time: 1 turns Reward: Small Love increase, small increase to PR with Egonova, you have an accurate accounting of what was lost during Ivan's coup
-[] Distant Stars - Rediscovering the Periphery: The Rurikovich have always relied on the Periphery for many things, and with the conflicts in the COre heating up, perhaps it is time to leverage that. The Ministry will send out diplomatic and exploration ships to locate old allies and adversaries.
Cost: 10,000 dinars Difficulty: LEA difficulty 50-34=16 Time: 1 turns Reward: Possible new opportunities regarding Periphery planets and entities. Potential small Fame increase.
-[] A Coronation for the Ages - Bishop of Moskva: You are the Tsarina of the Rurikovich - you should have your coronation be local in all ways. (It'll also save money.) Have your official coronation ceremony ministered to by Bishop Panin.
Cost 5,000 dinars Difficulty: PIE difficulty 0 Time: 1 turn Reward: Moderate Fame increase; increase to PR with the Cult; increase to PR with Panin; potential Piety increase
-[] Supervise a Ministry: Learning
-[] Major Tatiana Chernova
-Shaking Hands - House Al-Mufti Dif: 4
-[] Commodore Pyotr Chekhov
-Fund Construction: Extraction Facility Moskava Dif: 10
-[] Colonel Daria Varyanova
-Shaking Hands - House Massarde Dif: 7
-[] Death. End this with finality and send your traitorous little bastard to the executioner. Bonus to Fear.

38,000 Cost
