Yes, it might also be at odds with the way she is written or what the story will be about. I'd understand if OP don't want to use that picture; perhaps I'll try to find another one this evening.

The pics suggested so far don't really fit, but it's not the end of the world. We can go without one.
Also there is a vote about Lui She using a superhero name or her real one that has been neglected so far.

I wasn't sure what tone you were going for. Generally Horror stories go for disempowerment of the PoV chars which doesn't feel like it meshes well with taking a superhero and patrolling the streets.

I'm going for something like the old Hellblazer comics, so urban fantasy noire with strong horror elements. Overcoming the nasties is possible, but it will take smarts and more often than not come at a cost.
Tally is a bit wonky, but The Hungry Ghosts Festival definitly won, while there is a tie between the pics. Update will come tomorrow, vote's still open untill then.

The celebrations for the Feast of Hungry Ghosts are in full swing. You already made a few offerings to the ancestors at the shrines yourself, you recall Uncle Long being particularly fond of ridiculously spicy mapo doufu. Making it wasn't pleasant, your eyes begin to water just from thinking about it! After making the offerings you decided to go out on a stroll through the neigborhood. That's when you first started to get the feeling that something was wrong, something was tampering with natural flow of Qi.
And then the it started. What used to be just a normal wall you just walked by suddenly morphed into a twisted parody of a screaming human face.
(Fear resits DC 15)
(pass, 2 DoS, reduce future DC by 1)
You were not the only one to suddenly get screamed at by a face in a wall, although you managed to keep your cool unlike most of the neigbours. Panicked screams in the distance reveal that whatever this is, it is happening all over chinatown, maybe even all over the city.
What are you going to do? (select up to two)
[] Rush back into the shop and start looking for information in your Uncle's collection
[] Try to calm the neigbours
[] Take a closer look at the faces
[] Write-in (please use! I often run out of ideas for options)
You could do that, your Qi sense have a similar level of detail as normal sight or hearing. At the verry least you's be able to tell if it's alive or not.
ancestory => ancestry
shines => shrines
paticularly => particularly
stoll => stroll
And than the it started. => And then it started.
scrams => screams
whatver => whatever
[X] See if you can sense anything with your Qi
I couldn't read whatever the ghosts were screaming, so I extracted the text part:
HELP US WE WE RE TRAPPED HERE SO LONG LET US OUT THE PAIN MAKE IT STOP LET US OUT LET US OUT LET US OUT LET US OUT
Thanks i had assumed we were were not supposed to be able to read it.
The Qi sensing is mainly to help the narrow down the cause of faces appearance, so we can look into how to stop it.
