The Regend of Remnant (RWBY SI Quest )

Monoshizao was a fine blade.

However, its blade had turned black.

Not because of rust.

Not because of the paint.

Because of the sheer number of Grimm that I have cleaved through.

A year ago I woke up in the body of Sasaki Kojiro with Monohoshizao strapped behind me.


His skill and techniques etched into my mind.

I didn't know how I got here.

But one thing I knew.

I had to survive.

I found myself in a Forest, in the middle of nowhere.

Far away from any civilization.

So I picked a direction and walked.

I walked until I found a dusty path.

I began to walk along said path with hope in my heart.

As I kept walking my steps silent and graceful I was attacked by beowolves.

They did not last long against Monohoshizao's biting steel.

However, it was not over.

The leader of the pack howled, and within a minute the clearing had started filling up with grim.

My eyes narrowed as I took a loose stance Monohoshizao held in my right I began a to slaughter them, my steps ever so graceful even as I fought. Steel loped of heads and limbs.

The grim increased.

And I sped up in response, my steps and slashes becoming a blur to the naked eye.

Limbs and claws started flying as more and more beowolves rushed at me.

This was unnatural.

However the grim slowly died down as I cleaved through them not sparing any of them a second glance.

What seemed like forever seemed like less than a minute.

When I stopped and sheathed my blade there was not a single Beowolf left standing.

As the Grimm slowly evaporated, I saw a person injured and bleeding with several gashes reminiscent of Beowolf claws.

Sheathing my blade, I walk towards her and kneel down. Lifting her hood revealed the woman was still conscious with Silver eyes?

Ruby?

"Excuse me miss? Can you hear me?"

She looked towards me then around. "What happened? The Grimm?"

"Don't worry about the grim," I said in an urgent tone can you point me in the direction of the nearest civilization that may have some medical facilities? You are heavily injured and you need to rest. "

"I'm Sorry." The woman whispered. " I don't think I'll make it. The nearby settlements can't tret me." Her eyes softened and tears formed in her eyes. "Thank you for caring though. If only this world had more people like you."

"Then where is the nearest Location that has the medical facilities?"

She breathed heavily. Clearly having difficulty breathing. "Vale is the closest. My scroll is on the left side. of my cloak. You can use it to reach Vale, The CCPS app can show you the way, though I don't think I have much time left. Can you do me a Favour? If you Make it to Vale can you stop by Patch? Tell my little Rose that I'm sorry."

"You can tell her yourself." I told her, "I'm not going to give up just yet." Searching for her scroll I found it as she had said in the cloak. Opening the scroll I found it worked a lot like a smartphone except much more high tech. Opening the app labelled CCPS, I saw a map displayed. A red dot blinked showing our location.


56 Kilometres to Vale.

No wonder she was hopeless.

However I had A+ Ranked speed.

The Average Human Running speed is 34km/h.

The Lowest, E rank is a 10 times multiplier. Which would give a staggering 340km/h.

A Rank- was times 50 !

34 times 50 was 1600Kilometers per hour.

The plus at the end of A meant that stat was doubled, my top speed would reach a staggering 3400Kilometers per hour.

3 times faster than the speed of sound.

At full speed, I could arrive in a vale in just a minute.

But she might not survive trip at those speeds.

"Mam, How much Aura do you have? If you can I want you to stop your aura from trying to heal you and try to put it in forcefield mode."

"Hehe, forcefield. That's the first time I've ever heard Aura described like that." She giggled."Yes I can do that, but why?." She questioned.

"Different people have different strengths and weaknesses, if you can survive my top speed I can get us to vale in about a minute," I said with a straight face.

"Impossible!" She said her eyes wide.

"Can you do it?"

"I can try." The woman muttered. A few seconds later I saw a small silverly Aura around her. The moment she did that though her wounds started bleeding faster. Her aura was what was keeping her alive for so long.

"Hang on." I picked her up and carried her bridal style. Turning towards the Direction of vale according to the scroll I took off the Ground cracked beneath my feet as I took off, towards Vale. The single push accelerating myself, This wasn't my maximum speed. I landed and pushed against the ground again, the wind pushed against me.

I pushed back continuing to accelerate as trees and the scenery became a blur around me.

My heart thrummed in my chest as I heard a crack, glancing ever so slightly, I saw a cone forming behind me.

I've broken the sound barrier. in about 7 seconds.


But I'm not sure how long the woman can keep redirecting her Aura away from her wounds.

I kept accelerating.

How had I not run into something at these speeds? I wasn't running on the road.

No. I was leaping. The faster I went the HIgher I leapt giving me ample time to see where I was going and which direction to go next.

40 seconds in summers breathing has become light. I'm not sure how long she has but there was good news. I could see the huge Walls of Vale.

Slowing down I began to decelerate sharply and within seconds I was running as fast as a high-speed car towards the gates.

I could see the gate guards preparing.

That made sense. They had to be ready for anything.

I came to a halt in front of the gates and found myself surrounded by guards in seconds.

"Hurry, this woman is in critical condition, she needs help." The guards seem reluctant but a senior member seemed to notice the situation and came over. At that, the woman's silvery Aura died down, no longer protecting her from external forces rather now again focusing on keeping her alive as her bleeding slowed down a lot.

"What's going on here?" He yelled as he came over.

"A this woman is in critical condition. I'm not sure how long she has."

"What are you idiots standing there for? Get the medical bullhead ready what are you waiting for Chop chop!"

He turned to me. "You! Come with me, and be careful with her!"

We were taken to a Hospital in a Bullhead filled with all kinds of medical equipment. The woman had oxygen with an IV tube connected to her as the emergency response medic treated her wounds.

The moment the bullhead landed she was taken in a stretcher and I was led to a waiting room.

As I sat with Monohoshizao on my lap awaiting the hoping the lady survives.

About an hour later I let out a sigh of relief as the told me that she was alive but she would be unconscious for a few days.

Thanking them I turned around only to be stopped by a person in front of me.

My eyes widened in recognition.
