I wonder what this will do to the first Pale World since they're connected. It'd make sense for the inhabitants to be made and eventually figure out how to get to the Pale World.

The corresponding Dark and Pale worlds are intertwined ribbons, built off the back of one another. Like, imagine the DNA helix, only wrapped directly together with no space between the two "bone" ribbons. Don't ask how gravity works. Sometimes, it doesn't.
 
So I really think that Glacial Planes might be fun for these reasons:

Uno, it's cold as fuck and basically mystical Antarctica so there's probably carnivorous Demon Mammoths out there for any uplifted races to try and kill and get murdered by.

Dos, it's cold as fuck and basically mystical Antarctica so we might get to uplift Magic Polar Bears.

Tres, it's probably really pretty in the way the poles tend to be, with really cool Aurora Borealis.

Uno, Dos, and Tres are all uplifting options. Probably. Just keep in mind that every option will have possibilities as cool as these. Or more so.

Edit: In fact, I'm gonna put it out there right now that every option will have a celestial object/formation choice of uplift. So yes, sentient Aurora Borealis, or Suns, or Moons, or Hurricanes, or whatever.

I must have read too much Taylor Varga, but damn do I want lizard people. I'mma vote for the one place I think I could reasonably get people to vote for lizard people.

Edit: and presumably, the Godzilla people. Doesn't he just like, hang in the bottom of the ocean all day long, or until Millie Bobbie Brown shows up?

I really want our first uplifted species to be some abolith looking thing that swims in the deep waters and converses with the world and each other through bloops and telekinesis.

It's a world of extremes, primal and mythic. I vote we start in the place with the storms and the buoyancy to get the biggest and the craziest people we get.
