Trying to avoid too many option ms because then you have like only 2-3 people voting for winning vote.*Rise eyebrow*

Nobody wants to deal with the inevitable landbound hordes. It seems to be a habit of civ quests on SV to try to isolate themselves as much as possible.
We dealt with that very problem in Path of Civilizations :XWe can relish the challenge. Let's change things up for once lol.
No we didn't, we got deus ex Horded thats not even remotely the same.
We also dealt with Hordes or similar landbound threats for a very large fraction of PoC. So much so that we got traits exemplifying that we hated steppe hordes. No we didn't, we got deus ex Horded thats not even remotely the same.

Even Antartica! How?I have something far worse planned than steppe hordes...no matter where you go
Starvation, and environmental hazards are worse than steppe hordes players need to roll nat100s to have a chance to repel? You'll see...
There is a reason the game information encourages critical thinking. Voting purely on preference can be detrimental to your survival.
If I may ask: Is Antartica a trap option in the sense of word meaning 'basically unwinnable' under the physical rules used within this quest? You'll see...

The place has penguins (food, maybe, I'm not sure they're safe to eat), but a way to make fire puts things into really hard on an Antartica civ. Eskimoes got a civ, but they were linked to North America, and could pick up rocks, or hunt fire.If I may ask: Is Antartica a trap option in the sense of word meaning 'basically unwinnable' under the physical rules used within this quest?
That's interesting. So directed/nonstandard/essentially magical evolution is viable then?It depends on what you consider winnable
If developing a thriving civilization lasting centuries is your goal...the initial survival checks to develop that way would be quite high. Of course...you could always develop in less natural ways...
