    [X] Form: On the outside, we are a lanky, bald man with no hair or eyebrows. There are times that our skin is spontaneously stripped from our body, slowly rottens, or is covered with pieces of a chitinous carapace, or all of these happening at the same time in some cases. Beneath these lies an unending miasma of biomechanical nightmare depicted as a torrent of darkened flesh and metal, barely contained by an ever-changing frame with seemingly great fragility
    [X] Theme: Our troopers are a mish-mash of biological and mechanical disorder, while maintaining some coherency in their shapes and behaviorisms. Some have humanoid shapes, while barely maintaining their stature, the others have animalistic forms with more discipline and intelligence than their humanoid counterparts. The most extreme examples are masses of nightmares (either mobile or immobile) that impose great control over their lessers (Avoiding tentacles in this theme is a must to avoid some cliches). The means to attack are really diverse in this army. Some of them might lash with their limbs, while the others shape their bodies in attack forms. Bioelectrical discharges and infective ammunition are really common. There are also some cases of limited telekinesis

Corruption/Glitch is a cooler theme than Steampunk, especially for a hammy force of apocalypse. Little disappointed that both our frontrunners are humanoid-ish, though. Shoulda voted for glorious crustacean armageddon when I had the chance.

Maybe, but the pic is kinda lame! Too humanoid and not nightmarish enough! It looks less like a glitch in the matrix and more like a Bendy character!

Er, did you read the opening? Our character, no matter the vote, is by definition an overpowered monster. We're just deciding what type.

It's not like the steampunk faction is going to talk to these guys.

I didn't have much time! and it's only a headshot, the lower body can be a writhing mass of corrupted code or something.
 
The pic is indeed lame, but still probably better than a dapper bishie with a brass arm. We're an avatar of doom, not a high schooler taking revenge for his terminally ill sister!

Style vs generica. Steampunk has more style with the appearance of being shackled in ability. Glitch theme would be as generic as Overlord, the wuxia harem, the isekai protagonist, so op the security blanket feeling will never go away. I recently read a well written Korean translation of 'Trash of the Count's Family', surprisingly good for a mc who becomes so op a reader would be surprised the mc would ever be seriously injured.

... why would a theme denote any feeling of invincibiltiy? It's not like either one is inherently better than the other, that's not how Dex's universes Work. Everything is roughly equivalent.

And how is a glitch theme generic? If anything, it's more unique than Steampunk.
