[x] Pursue Darla, find her and eat her Soul. Angel wanted to talk to Buffy on his own after all, and trust the seeming urgency of his wound to keep her occupied before you get back.

[X] Do not pursue, you can track her readily enough later. For now, stay here and spin your web so the teenage Slayer doesn't get a silly idea.

We can't just kill the mid-boss in the first encounter! We need some proper time to let her antagonise us first.

Nah, you're not thinking. Letting Darla live is a good thing.
I guess her death plays parts in later plots and prophecies, is that what you mean or is it more just her being interesting?

I do agree that talking to Buffy's more important than killing Darla though.

I tend to dislike letting people get away to make nuisances of themselves in quests, but here it serves a purpose. Having her as a common enemy means we can ingratiate ourselves further. Though...could we leave Annie to explain things? She's not likely to be able to keep up with us or Darla, so having her talk to Buffy would probably work out pretty well? She can at least tell her that Angel claims to have been framed.

I don't really want to leave Annie alone with them for various reasons, lmao.

We should stay.
