Deus Pater (Exalted/40k)

[X] Combat Training. The Adepta Sororitas are some of the finest warriors to be found anywhere in the Imperium. See if they will consent to providing you with personal tutelage in the arts of violence.
[X] Warp-Born Mind. As your recent experience reminded you, there are psykers on Sanguis, not least of which are the astropaths responsible for interstellar communication. Visit them, and speak frankly, as likely none have done before.

This feels like a good idea. It won't do much for the wider Argent Shroud Covenent who one and all are going to be enraged to the point of making a pyramid of skulls out of the decendants of whoever was responsible for their Living Saint FOUNDER getting killed, but letting the sisters use Ignatius as a punching bag might help slake a few embers of their fury.

[X] Twisted Flesh. Sanguis has its own populace of mutants, oppressed and enslaved by the pure-born majority. Reach out to them, and bring them into your flock in truth as well as name.
This SHOULD be by proxy good for Psykers, via by seeing us reach out to the mutants who have been kicked around anyhow can likely imagine that we also mean them, we just need to wind up/get a bit more involved in our research. Also I think talking tolerance might not be a bad idea in general given the whole 'we just set a sixth of the Sororitas on Righteous fury the likes of which will be hard to top.'

[X] Know Thine Enemy. You would be a fool to think your only opposition will come from within the Imperium. Consult the Sororitas and learn what you can of the daemon and the fallen, along with how to fight them.

We're a physical tertiary, but we're going to have to hit someone at some point, and Brawl is a tree that wants to duel guys one on one. It's not great as just a dip. I also want to establish our baselines before we start with the interest groups. Let's not make any promises before we know exactly what we're dealing with.

The death of the saint to political backstabbing is simply too interesting a plot thread to just let it fall to the wayside. Additionally we started this question by picking a political agitator - let's keep that theme running by focusing on our internal opposition instead of shifting to a more outward focused combat game. Ergo, Words.

Psykers and mutants are both good options. I'm leaning mutants if for no other reason than we've already put it off once before.

For me, I am voting for Twisted Flesh because I feel if we keep going for options because they are useful, we may push back mutants over and over as they provide no immediate benefit as the Sisters or Psykers would.

There's untold trillions of poor fucks in the galaxy, the best way to to help them to leverage the resources of the planet, not by preaching to goddam muties.

[x] Faith and Coin. Contact Deacon Amelia and get a full assessment of the state of Sanguis' economy, infrastructure and bureaucracy. You must know the tools at your disposal before you can work with them.

We built our name on a message of tolerance.
Put our money where our mouth is.

No doubt at least SOME of the psykers are indeed compromised. To deal with them properly we need to know the Fallen too.

To be frank, I'm relieved that we know the 1000 psykers a day thing actually does something- depending on the writer, it can be 100% useless and the emperor is actually kept alive by the waaagh powered beliefsof the orks

I agree that the most effective ways to help the most amount people would be leveraging the considerable resources and influence that Ignatius commands. However, I just wanna point out that we got in this mess in the first place for advocating that psykers and mutants aren't automatically inhuman and thus not an enemy of mankind by virtue of being a mutant or psyker. We were chosen by the Emperor because we were fighting for the downtrodden and the unjustly persecuted, including the mutants...

[X] Words as Weapons. The Sororitas are not all frontline warriors, and with the aid of their non-militant Sisters you may gain a much stronger understanding of the less overt threats likely to interfere with your great work within the bounds of the Sector.
