If you pick one of the send her alone the next update will have you vote on what you do in the morning while she goes and does her stuff. Whether it saves time or not? Not really no, not with how I'm planning things in the background.@BungieONI If we don't go with our minion what will we do in the meantime? Would saving time by taking care of our own business while she goes out have any meaningful benefit?
Catherine was, and three things played to your favor in that fight. Stealth surprise and shorter casting times and demon physiology. When I wrote the bit where your neck almost broke from the telekinetic punch of Catherine, that would have killed a normal human.Well that was a suprisingly easy fight. Were they strong enough to remove the idol's seeming had she not removed it prior to the fight?
Well, there goes canon. I don't think people realize how subtly important Amy ended up being, so rip. We kind of need to replace her if we don't want the world to end on multiple occasions.
Amy is basically how Willow learned magic. Willow then got motivated to become *better* at doing magic to de-rat Amy. Amy was Willow's connection to Rack which, while it created the Dark Willow persona also led to a Willow powerful enough to cast the spell to activate all of the Potential Slayers.Mind elaborating on why she mattered so much? As in, the specific instances where her existence saved the world.
Even with us maintaining Willow's path to witchdom if loss of Amy prevents Cordelia and Xander properly dating it could mean Anya won't be attracted by the fallout or end up a cast member.Amy is basically how Willow learned magic. Amy herself, was only pivotal in certain story lines, but, she was a vehicle for Willows growth as a little witch who could. Because Amy existed, Willow ended up strong enough to save the world several different times.
Which, is why I say, as Witchy Girl we should fill that role as a motivator.
I doubt it was a coincidence she was lurking about the school attended by the Slayer, got close to people involved with the Slayer, and chose to grant a wish involving the Slayer.Even with us maintaining Willow's path to witchdom if loss of Amy prevents Cordelia and Xander properly dating it could mean Anya won't be attracted by the fallout or end up a cast member.
An interesting turn from canon can be taken but I imagine such far reaching wishes as Cordy's aren't common, especially ones centred on Buffy or ones that'd need to the damaging of the Vengeance Demon's powers to fix.I doubt it was a coincidence she was lurking about the school attended by the Slayer, got close to people involved with the Slayer, and chose to grant a wish involving the Slayer.
If you were a Vengeance Demon looking to have to fun and play Monkey Paw with you wishes, would you move to a new town to mess with a random teenage girl, or would you want to mess with the literal Chosen One?
Odds are Anya will still show up. But if the Cordy/Xander situation gets derailed, it's anyone's guess who she'll target instead.
Exactly, it was so far reaching because it was centered on Buffy. If the wish had been "I wish [some normal girl] had never come to Sunnydale." if wouldn't have been anywhere as far reaching. The fact that the wish involved an actual Chosen One, who was central to several major events is what made it soo devastating. An interesting turn from canon can be taken but I imagine such far reaching wishes as Cordy's aren't common, especially ones centred on Buffy or ones that'd need to the damaging of the Vengeance Demon's powers to fix.
