@BungieONI, is there something in the Idol's past that makes her naturally antagonistic against witches? There could be opportunity in dealing with them. We could get magic and lore native to this world. New magic!

Okay for some reason that didn't tag me. Weird. She's not particularly antagonistic against witches, but there's [spoilers] hanging in the background for this. Also more immediately, she has more magical know how in her upper right hand, than they do in both of their bodies. She does not think she can learn anything of particular use from them given what she has sensed.

I wonder if the hidden plot Bungie's been hinting about is that we've got memories other than the Queen's in us somewhere? Someone who knew Buffy, or knew of her at the very least.

Wish I had the time to actually trawl through the story posts and find these hidden hints.

Annie was interesting and we learnt quite a bit. I'd rather not just leave the Gauntlet sitting unused though. I'm sure the Magic Box's treasures can wait til we've made use of our own.

I only see her refer to the Warrior as Buffy one time in her head. Maybe Xander killed Jesse with her knife and that gave her memories?

You would have noted Xander holding your knife, in this particular case he killed Jesse as he killed him in canon.

Grabbing the Magic Box items does not feel urgent because I don't know of anything there that necessarily be super necessary where as the Gauntlet is known from canon and MC noted it draw on the environment. My hope is that the Guantlet provides more understanding of this worlds enchantments, of its dangers.

As for Annie it would be interesting to see her as a minion. Of course I am also interested in further study of vampires which seem to be that the MC interprets as magical constructs due to their lack of soul and how they affected the ambient magical energy. IDK on A Demon's Souls setting so I don't know the extent of her capabilities but it would be cool if further study of Angel provided insight into making her own souled vampires by messing with the process to prevent the soul from leaving even as the body turns into a vampire. Given how she noted that a stronger body assists with using a soul as a conduit this also makes sense why making a soul vampire would be useful.

Greed is the enemy, also understand what you have right now and maximise it's usefulness first before acquiring more things to learn to use.
