[X] "The Wonderful Slaying of the Very Evil Dragon, Grima"
You really do not know what is a "manga" or "light novel" but you guessed that both are forms of literature or written stories with artistic pictures in them, based on the context of Hitomi's statement. On the same note, you can guess that "cosplay" has to do with costumes and that Hitomi was asking from what story did your clothes come from...
To be quite honest with yourself, you were taken slightly off-guard by the question since the clothes you are wearing are nothing too special and were absolutely not of any story that you know of. You quickly thought of a response to Hitomi's question and the result was... somewhat comical.
"The design is from the protagonist of the story The Wonderful Slaying of the Very Evil Dragon, Grima."
"Eh?" Hitomi replied with a hint of curiosity in her tone. "I don't think I have heard of that one. Can tell me it is about?"
"Well," you started to explain. "It's a fantasy epic about a young princess's quest to slay an evil dragon named Grima. Grima is a vile dragon who killed the princess's parents and brought ruin to the entire world. The story is still being written right now and it is at the part where she finally gotten the allies that she can get, only for Grima to sweep right in and destroyed her castle. Right now, she is in a far away land, trying to rebuild and assemble a force stronger than the last in hopes that Grima will be finally slain by her holy sword, the Falchion..."
...By Naga, did you describe your entire life story up until now as a summary for a theatrical play? You can't really tell if Owain will be impressed by your improvisational skills or will be disappointed in you for not… dramatising the summary enough. But then again, it's Owain. He even dramatizes cooking and cleaning, which tend to annoy people like Severa...
"Wow..." Hitomi said. "The story's... well... I guess it will not be finished anytime soon, right? Sounds like the author is intending that the story to go on for a long time, yes?"
You sighed. "Pretty much. It's been going on for a long time and right now, the author's taking a break, so it will be a while before the next part is written."
Hitomi smiled. "I'm sure that it'll be fine. Writing all of the time has to be stressful and she deserves a break every once in a while. Trust me on that one. The mall is not far from here, so we should continue walking. I'll look up the story when I have some free time, just out of curiosity..."
And with that the two of you walked onward while you silently praised Naga that Hitomi believed all of what you have said to her.
Soon enough, the two of arrived at the mall Hitomi mentioned. It is quite impressive. It's even more impressive than any building that you have seen before in your life and it is certainly much more than a simple market. Instead of rows of small simple stalls peddling goods in small quantities, the mall has rows of neat and well kept stores selling all sorts of items, and in such a number that you can barely comprehend. And all of this is within the carved walls and glass roofs of the building, giving the atmosphere an appearance of great wealth…
You are very glad that you have the discipline to look at all of this without fainting on the spot in sheer awe and wonder, for it is quite overwhelming…
"Lucina? Is something wrong?"
Although the sight did distract you enough to pause, causing Hitomi to notice your awe.
"Ah," you spoke up, shaking yourself out of shock. "It's nothing."
Hitomi cleared her throat.
"Well, this is it: Mitakihara's biggest mall. I can't seem to find Madoka or Sayaka anywhere for now, so we have some time to get you something to wear. Do you have anything in mind, you want, or should I choose for you?"
