The older we choose to be, the longer we lived with the knowledge of the Forsaken Child before choosing to act upon it. I'd prefer a character who denied it from the start, not one who took a few years to make up their mind.[X] 18
Can we please keep kids out of this. I'll bend if I'm the only hater, but kids are too precious for this schiesse.
Not much. We are going to be super intelligent either way, and are in command of a trans-dimensional facility. I feel what little extra freedom there is would be countered by the fact that we become someone who took atleast 6 years to say "Nah, fuck that" to the whole Forsaken Child situation.I'd honestly rather be an adult, it provides us with a little more freedom than if we were a child.
It's currently a tie, so might as well close it after the next vote, whatever that is, that breaks the tie.Well, closing the vote in about two to three hours.
Also, as we wait for the bit to close, does anyone want to know about a few things that I may add to the quest?

Sure.
Sounds good to me.Later on in the quest, I may make a "Omake bounty board" to help Omake writers that want to make Omakes, but don't have any ideas for Omakes at the time? Does that sound like a good idea?
Well, it doesn't really matter at this point, but I don't really see what the problem is with having our character be reluctant to leave the city. The whole forsaken child concept is meant to be one of those moral gray area that makes the reader think (essentially, it's a version of utilitarianism). Not much. Oh, I understand the utilitarianism aspect. But it's still an example of our character accepting a mighty attrocity, even if it's one that leads to good. I'd prefer our character to be more idealistic.Well, it doesn't really matter at this point, but I don't really see what the problem is with having our character be reluctant to leave the city. Also, when I mentioned "freedom," I was actually talking about our ability to convince people. It doesn't matter how smart she is, the fact that Miranda is a twelve year-old girl is going to mean that many of the adults she runs into (especially the one's who hold any sort of power in their respective universes) are simply not going to take her seriously. I mean, if some well-spoken twelve year-old walked up to you and tried to convince you to do something, would you listen, or would you try to find her parents?
To top things off, there's only so much that a twelve year-old is going to be able to learn in their lifetime. Chances are that this character probably is going to be a bit naive, and not know nearly as much as an adult from Omelas would, simply because she hasn't had enough time to fully grasp many of the concepts that they talk about in the city.
Sure thingWell, I doubt that anymore votes will occur in the next hour, so, vote closed.
So, can someone roll me a four sided die now?
... Well... This happened... Hmm...
Usually, when more than one person rolls, authors just go with the first one.
