The best part of talking to Simurgh was how she was upset the Grail didn't get her references. She even corrected that before blowing their brains up.

Such a kind girl, very concerned with educational standards these days :V.

And Angra's realization that Holy Grail is just helping their killer in getting them killed.

At least now there is an opportunity to use Grail Mud on acceptable targets.

I just remembered.
Grail Mud corrupts people if it doesn't kill them outright.
UGH, are we gonna have to escape Cauldron without using Grail Mud? Because corrupting them might sound fun but it would also be a thing that derails our fun considering how much power and influence they have. At that point getting back to the Grail War might be impossible because we have bigger things to worry about. The kind of things we can't just ignore because it'll probably come after us while distracting all of our toys.

... I'm incredibly confused, why is Cauldron working with Ziz? How would they already know about The Grail? What did they do to The Grail (I hope it's just a concussion but it sounds like they screwed with it's head and dumped it on an alternate Earth)? Also will we ever get Amelia as a Master or is that now Uber Screwed? How could Contessa Path The Grail when Ziz needed directions? Why would Contessa give a damn about their feudalism experiment getting the ultimate in feudalistic war?

Although Cauldron is in for a surprise when they find out getting dumped on an alt Earth won't slow The Grail down. Servant Essence going into Hosts? Just how FUBAR is this War going to get! (|:rofl::lol:D) Please tell me that the first person the Ruler has to kill is Doctor Mother!

so, the choices, the choices are:

Mordred option would get Personal Power (Brute/Mover) for Theo and encourage him to attack Kaizer head-on. might get him killed, as E88 won't recognize him in his cape persona (Stranger), or lead to something akin to partisan war. or full-on war, with Romulus present. the most boring?

Caesar would make him a leader, full stop (dat Charisma, the Thinker/Master). where he'd get folowers, though? E88 is a valid option in the 'reformation' sense. it would be a bit of a slow option, though. assassinations-bribes-etc, i think. in terms of personal power he gets moderate buffs. and Romulus is happy, as per ROMA!

Nero... i voted for her because her skillset is Trump/Thinker (Imperial Privilege) and Tinker (all the Mystic Codes, the sword to her Caster version organ/cannons) analog. Not because she is a Saberface, for we shall not see said face in this quest (i think). Plus the Thrice-Setting-Sun shenanigans. this option makes Theo into even more of a Wild Card, which, in my opinion, is the most fun kind of participant. and GLORY TO ROMA, of course.

For those voting Mordred, I'll point out that since this does not eat the Saber slot, voting for a non-Mordred option leaves her available for a proper summon. Unless FacelessDoll is allowing for overlap?

IIRC, one of the later interludes in canon shows that Cauldron can use the Clairvoyant to piggyback Ziz's senses and observe what she's doing. So presumably they noticed some unusual activity, started doing that, and then figured that anyone Ziz was trying to kill outside of her usual attacks was probably someone they should rescue.

Well that's going to backfire, The Grail can just use QA's Shard dimensional affects to tear open a portal back or if The Grail is in Cauldron base there will hopefully be a very dead Doctor Mother after this before The Grail War recommences.

I'm still annoyed that 2/3 of the Plot Devices have decided to hijack the Story. What's next, it turns out it was Jack Slash all along? Why can't the good Plot Device that is Gilgamesh come out and go Bird hunting T_T.

I'm almost willing to bet money that once Angra is done with Cauldron, the SCP foundation will be using the incident as an example of how not to deal with 076.

076 is Able not Angra Mainyu, they even have Able's brother who isn't an Apocalypse savior god* but rather a very apologetic guy who can't be touched by anything.

Also if the Foundation actually existed in this Multiverse they would have already stopped this (successfully might I add). They also already have a long list of "not how to stop Able" situations the foremost of which being "don't challenge Able", "Don't Tell Able about 682", and "for the love of 343 don't even mention Cain! Looking at you, Bright".
