Well that was certainly one way to end it. I was hoping to have more adventures in Brockton Bay, get another master or two, but I suppose we had to meet Cauldron sooner or later. I'm sure everyone else is flipping out over the contents of our little debate, which is cool.

If we had picked the other two options, would we also have ended the arc?

The thought of theo coming back to life is definitely I want to see since its not usually something a normal cape can pull off and I want some one to call our shenanigans.

Firstly, you forgot to put an X in the []

Secondly, we will be returning to the Bay soon.

And lastly, the Sveta option would have likely had another few options before the arc ended due to the resulting road trip + us needing to maintain a Servant with no Master. The Amy option had the greatest possibility of running long, though that isn't to say it couldn't have been cut short.
 
Also, a bit of shorthand for the three options that might be helpful.

Mordred: Pretty much straight up Brute with some Stranger mixed in
Nero: More of a Thinker focus with some Mover added in
Caesar: A bit of Brute/Mover, a bit of Master

Plus their respective effects on Theo's behavior

Ok, I'm going to say this: unless we've been tapped directly into a high-quality leyline, or, more preferably, a convergence of several, the War is now an unattainable goal. The only instances of a Servant being maintained longer than the week the HGW usually lasts are Lancer and Caster of Black, who had a literal army of Homunculi to serve as Mana batteries for them, Gil and Amusika Shirou, who got physical flesh-and-blood bodies for themselves somehow, and Herc and Saber, who had really fucking stronk Masters who were capable of shouldering the cost of maintaining them without help.

Assassin, Archer, and Lancer have none of those things, so how are they still stable?

Edit: I'm not counting Grand Order and Extra/Extella/CCC because the latter is literally a computer simulation and the former uses magiteck to keep itself running.

We are mostly in dormancy for one, which lowers our own power consumption. For another, QA just demonstrated some connection to the Masters' shards. I'll be sure to address it next chapter, but basically we are, however unconsciously, cheating by using this fancy network of extradimentional cells someone has set up.

Neither Illya nor Rin got any help from the Grail while it was dormant. Also, to the Grail, dormancy means "shut down literally everything until we have a full battery."
