In the year 1980 all war was made illegal.
The world is handled by a single government headed by a monarch.
All nukes were banned with all existing nukes destroyed or long lost to time.
All currency was absolved and replaced with the digital based Credits.
Such changes and many more were made possible by the One World, One Truth Act.
An Act made after the 1 hour long World World 3 decimated both the USSR and USA into nothingness.
The world superpower is now the United European Provinces who now rules over Africa, Canada, The Independent State of Alaska, Mexican Republic, South America, Japan, Philippines, Greenland, Iceland, and Australia.
There was no peace however.

September 11, 31 AU (After Unity)
The man across the desk looked at my application form. One eyebrow raised as he looked back and forth towards me and the paper in his hands. "So miss... you want to us to hire you?"
"If that isn't too much of a problem. I need some money to pay off my college entrance fee." I said plainly.
"Well that's all fine and dandy but I'm PRETTY sure that working at a flower shop isn't going pay off that fee..."
"Oh, I'm not here for that, I'm here for the... you know... side business. Heard you lost your last employee in that freak elevator accident."
He stared at me for a while until something clicked and an expression of realization spread across his face. "Oh! You mean that business. Explains some of these odd little points in your resume. Sorry, but that business isn't mine, it's my sister's. Talk to girl at the cash register and ask if she knows someone who can get some exotic flowers. If she ask what flower you're looking for, remember that it's the Diphylleia, okay?" He handed back my resume. "I hope your interview with her goes well."
"Thank you, I hope your business continues to sell." I left his office and down a hallway before entering into the flower shop.
The shop had a pastel blue theme with shelves of flowers of all sorts. There's even a shelf devoted purely for displaying a multitude of vases for customers to choose from. The girl manning an cash register whose design is an odd mix of antique yet postmodern looks like she still in grade 9 high school. Probably from one of those private schools judging by the school uniform under her apron. "You gonna stare at me or will you order something? Sheesh. People these days."
"Oh nothing miss. I'm just looking for a person who knows where to procure some exotic flowers."
I could feel her immediately guarding herself. "What kind of flower are you looking for if I may ask?"
"Diphylleia."
She stared at me for a while, a look of scorn briefly formed on her face before being replaced with a false smile. "Oh, just take the elevator to the third floor. It's just to the right. Oh, by the way we're currently helping to promote the effort to rebuild London I got some brochures and a small donation box if you want to contribute to the effort." She held out a piece of folded paper in her hands. As soon as I touched it she retracted her hand so fast it was as if this paper was rigged to explode. Good thing for me it wasn't, not quite sure about her though.
Giving a small thanks I headed towards the elevator. Once inside I folded open the promotion and found an odd key and two notes. One said that in order to meet Tapenade I need to first insert the key into the elevator's interface and press 3. The second said that I should stay the hell away and that I'm a sick freak. I'm guessing the last one was from the girl at the cash register.
Following the instructions, I felt the metal cage I stood in move to some unknown location. It took about 30 seconds for the whole trip to take place. The elevator opened up to reveal one of those small deserted islands with one or two palm tress. In this case it had three. In the middle under those three palm trees was a lady sitting at a desk surrounded by piles of paper scattered around in the sands along with many a filing cabinets, some half sunken into the island and just as mindlessly strew around. I walked towards the lady. She looked as if she had not slept in a long time. Her blue hair while in a ponytail had strands sticking out and her glasses had a crack in one of the lenses. The beige turtle neck looked crumpled and I could tell she hadn't took a bath for a while. "Hello, are you Ms. Tapenade?"
She stopped frantically writing in something as she looked up. She blinked a few times at me before telling, "sorry but you came at a bad time. I have no cleaners at the moment and I'm currently sending out some advertisements for new hires so if you could please forgive me and come at a later time then we'll certainly have some people to take care of your request."
"So does that mean I won't be hired?"
"Eh?" Somehow the broken lens broke even further.
"I saw one of you advertisements after I took it off this one guy who was... well let just say he was an unpleasant man and if I said anymore then this entire quest and the writer could get booted by the mods."
"Oh..." She straightened herself up, clearing away her desk as she addressed me. "Sorry about the state of my office. I've been trying to scrounge up whatever money I have as the debt collectors keep knocking at my door to pay up dough that I don't have."
"Well you got me now. Where should I start?"
"Well first I'd like to see your resume."
"Okay, I'm just gonna check it to see if I got all my info right..."
The game relies on a d20 system of my own making. There are six core stats.
Strength or STR: The physical strength of the character. Governs weapons large melee weapons.
Endurance or END: The amount of stress their body. For each 2 point in this stat you get a health point.
Agility or AG: The speed and finesse they can preform. Governs ranged weapons and small melee weapons.
Charisma or CHR: How well they can negotiate and how well they interact in a social environment.
Ether or ETH: How well you can use the magical energy around you and within yourself. Governs magical weapons.
Luck or LUC: Self explanatory.
The max level for each stat is twenty and the higher the number the better the modifier to the rolls. Below is the chart that shows the modifier.
Gives -9 to dice rolls.
Gives -8 to dice rolls.
Gives -7 to dice rolls.
Gives -6 to dice rolls.
Gives -5 to dice rolls.
Gives -4 to dice rolls.
Gives -3 to dice rolls.
Gives -2 to dice rolls.
Gives -1 to dice rolls.
Gives no dice modifier.
Gives +1 to dice rolls.
Gives +2 to dice rolls.
Gives +3 to dice rolls.
Gives +4 to dice rolls.
Gives +5 to dice rolls.
Gives +6 to dice rolls.
Gives +7 to dice rolls.
Gives +8 to dice rolls.
Gives +9 to dice rolls.
Gives +10 to dice rolls.
If you guys want to take the custom sheet option then remember that the max stats points that a character can have overall is 60.
Also each character can only have one unique trait that gives them a unique bonus. It'll be up to me to figure out if it's balanced or not.
Combat: when a character fights another character. The former any of their respective attack stat and the later rolls their endurance stat against that. If the endurance roll exceeds the attack roll than the character takes little to no damage. If the attack roll goes over it than the later takes a point of damage. For every two 2 points of endurance you get a point of health. Once all your health is gone then you're dead.
You can avoid damage by using agility to dodge or even avoiding fighting altogether using charisma and other techniques.

You see, when a character fights another character.
Death Rally lets you regain 1 points for each kill you make. I'll add the info now actually.
Trait: No Strings Attached - Having two bodies to fight with means all the more damage. In combat, multiply the result of rolls by 1/4 and add the product as a positive modifier.
Health: 5
Stats:
STR: 3
END: 10
AG: 13
CHR: 10
ETH: 17
LUC: 7
In case it isn't apparent from the stat distribution, I made this character with the intent of the weapon relying on the ETH stat. Magical puppet and all that jazz. I can rework things if there's an issue with that.
Trait: Shard Burst - As a result of her rather unique nature, she can quickly cover her body in crystalline growths and explosively shatter them, sending shards in all directions, even if it does hurt, a lot. Inflict damage to self and perform an indiscriminate AoE ETH attack.
