[X] [Combat] Stand your ground and counterattack, you know she reveals an opening when she raises her sword for that overhead cut.

[x] [Combat] Keep your blaster trained on her and stay light on your feet, kite her.

It's anime quest first, rival quest second. Everyone is bishie!

I'm not sure why people are voting for Song of the Ancients as the battle theme. It's good music and works well for combat in a video game, but it doesn't strike me as fitting for an anime. Combat in video games not only last longer than in purely visual mediums, but also are interactive on a level that tends to draw them out. But in visual medium fast and weighty action is the way to go, and that is emphasized by appropriately fast music as well, with the best fight scenes timing their cuts to changes in the music. For those reason and more, I do feel that Irondust is the better choice.

[X] [Combat] Wait until the last possible then deflect her attack with our gun before twirling it around to pistol whip her.
[X] [Bishie] Bishie!

I think this would be a good display as a smug rival, just wish we had either strength or durability as a trait. Always hated being a glass cannon.

I am not a fan of bishounen, I prefer actually muscled character, they are already a lot of beautiful stick men and women in anime, the exception being JoJo. They are handsome, tall and muscled, what do you need more than that?

I approve.

Any of these do it for you?

Those all look good. Also #4, Perceval De Rolo, Nice.

On the whole, I feel I should make it clear, my interpretation of Bishie is less about your overall beauty and more about how effeminate you look as a character. It's mostly a 'can Waltz write situations where the rival is mistaken for a girl for comedic effect' vote. If Bishie, yes. If no Bishie, then no.

Also you already pigeonholed yourselves as a Caster with your initial trait choices, so being super buff or muscular really isn't particularly in line with that. Just saying.

I was pretty sure when you said No Bishie we would just be a plain looking dude and not a devilishly charming guy. I mean Not being bishie doesn't make you buff i mean Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando are buff bishies. So i was really confused why people saying we were going to be buff if we went with No bishie

Will the birds be surrounding him all the time?
No. But they serve pretty well as props for sudden and dramatic entrances, don't they?

Imagine the Heroine in the park with her friends, hanging out like normal teenagers. One of them would come up with the idea of feed pigeons and they have a few laughs getting that one friend of theirs who's scared of birds to feed them out of her hand.

Then the bird feeding from the heroine's hand suddenly flies away, prompting the rest to scatter. Said bird lands on our shoulder as we smirk knowingly.

...damn it, I'm getting too into this. Somebody help.

Just placing this here for reference. Mostly mine, but hey.

The tally may have been affected due to Spectre having made a new Vote Choice post, or something.

Also, just because it's a Come Back Attack theme, and it's for our Main Heroine.

[JK] [Theme] Hero's Come Back

It's an old tally; there is a timestamp on it indicating when it was taken. Just refresh it, and the 'missing' votes will be there.

Here, an updated tally for reference. I will be closing the votes once I get home from work in 3.5 hours.

For the record, I am disappointed at how few people are voting on theme still. There's what... 25 of you? And only around 10 have made any calls for the song. Come on!
