Anime Rival Quest (Very Meta)

[X] [Combat] Traps worked the first time so toss down another one. See if she's learned anything.
-[X] Sneak in a second trap for when she avoids or breaks through the obvious one.
[X] [Theme] Psychosocial

[x] [Combat] Keep your blaster trained on her and stay light on your feet, kite her.

[x] [Bishie] Bishie!

[x] [Theme] Dr. Jekyll

Definitely wanted something jazzy for our theme, thought it'd stand out, be a bit Cowboy Bebop/Baccano-esque. Don't know how much a 'doctor' or 'Mr Hyde' thing would fit our character though.

[x] [Bishie] Bishie!

Bishie is just that much better for an MG rival!
The resultant ships will drive our popularity through the roof!

Yes you would need to spend Tolerance points to do this. At this point, you've established yourself as more about dodging and using magic defences. Tanking something to the face will make the audience wonder why you didn't just no sell her previous less powerful attacks the same way.
Not necesarily actually. That was our character humoring her in a way. Establishing how we normally fight.

This is our character just completely crushing the attack to show her how far she has to go.

Edit: Also, not sure if Bishie or not. On one hand, animu, but on the other, ruggedly handsome is up for grabs. And/or handsome scarring.

Actually, if not Bishounen, we could maybe go for a Phantom of the Opera-esque 'masked' shtick, which could fit pretty well for a male MG rival.

[X] [Combat] Stand your ground and counterattack, you know she reveals an opening when she raises her sword for that overhead cut.

We demonstrated our trapping skills first, becoming a one trick wonder just Reeks of a poor rival.

Use our Analytics to demonstrate to her the opening she leaves in her offense to make a more well rounded character appeals to me.

Do a Tuxedo Mask with a leaning towards antagonizing her to make her better herself? Could work.

... Yes. Do an Anna.

Well, not an Anna. I don't think we can quite stretch the badassery to be able to break her sword with a thumbs-up motion, but the general idea is sound I think. Big, flashy, over-the-top, and easy to read. Yes.

[X] [Bishie] No Bishie!

I don't like any of the character themes so far though. Or the ones being voted for anyway. Song of the Ancients just... doesn't really work as a Character theme I think.

We're a boy, Lilith-nee.

A peace sign and playful winks have been done before, though. I want our MC to do something a little more daring (but not in the NSFW sense) that Negaverse fans would make fanart based on it. If we want to be smug, then we should leverage our specialty in speed and knowledge of our rival's strength and force her to think of ways to overcome it.

And when she does, we easily slip past that and force her to go back to the drawing board as befitting of our spot as the character with the superior intellect.

Maybe a gentle nose-on-nose boop?
Mess with her hair, though short of actually destroying it.

I don't know which song I like more, so I won't vote on theme

Well, we already have points in smug/superiority, even if it's something of a pragmatic type... All I can think of is grabbing/touching her jaw like we're about to bring her in for a kiss before we abruptly leave. Possibly with a (mocking?) laugh.

Really make the shippers go crazy.

For an entrance... Suddenly appear right next to her without anyone noticing? Though that might need to be limited to light-hearted/comedic scenes (if there are any) and maybe abrupt ambushes from the shadows in the more serious scenes?

BISHIE FOR THE SHIPS

I noticed, might renege on it honestly. That pic makes it look more creepy than anything. :/
Pic 1 is too masculine to be bishounen.
Pic 2 is broken for me.
Not sure

Broken link for me.

Not sure why they are broken, working fine for me. Besides, both were not bishie enough. So I found this one.
