I'll vote for you Butchock if you switch locket with magical book. Seems like people really want to go into the wizard route. Maybe we can do Eldritch Knight

[X] "I'm... sorry...?" (+2 Good, +1 Lawful.)

Well, that was a ninja. I like to think that Cesimir will at least understand that he's got the Kobolds beat. Besdies we can take a point for lawful and I'd rather we be Chaotic neutrall.

Well, we are not that wise or smart... and yeah, becoming Overlord of the 12 tribes has a nice ring to it. And we can befriend their chiefs if they prove to be interesting and obedient enough
+2 Wisdom and Intelligence modifier beg to differ.

Actually, since you have chosen to be ambitious and you're evil, that is an excellent plan. Conquer the kobolds, then use them, nurture them, and grow their society, and one day, take over the City of Intrigues with a kobold army. Just throwing this idea out there for y'all players to bisect. I'll make it possible, if you want.

Smart observation, since this is the direction Cesimir is moving toward, class-term.

Well it was either that or Blade-Singing but that requires a mentor to teach it to you. It's kinda specific lore wise even though it's basically a DEX Wizard (in the 5e world). Personally I love bladesinging cause the idea of a quick fighter who uses a song for entrance to kill/disable opponents in a single hit is ultra anime. Also holy cow Undead and the Darksongs are fucking up that city good.

I don't want to spoil what's happening in the City of Intrigues right now, but let's just say if you start going back soon-ish, you'll be right on time to make a power-grab, assassinate a rival noble, or otherwise use a lot of chaos to your advantage.

All i'm saying is this: If we play nice and follow this path we get more power. So lets get more power!

Whatever happening to the family im sure they'll take care of it. Eventually. Maybe. Who cares lets make our own Scholarly Kingdom in the Surface and have the Good Drow join in.

We are the worst chosen one ever. I love it.

I'll very reluctantly go with this. I'm thinking of eventually going for Lawful Evil, but right now it pays to have some goodwill with Malcer.

Hmmm... kobold army...

Naahh... like i said before, i find the current quest funny and awesome, becoming another Drizzt... pretty meh... now, following the Dark Queen books and the Drow civil war and the Vhaeraun instigators and the Fall of Ched Nasad, now that would be fantastic!

As to conquering, the kobolds and uplifting them sounds fun!

When can we get our stuff back? We paid good money for those! Also what happened to the cave artefact? Can we also send a message to Jarlaxle and our brother?

When you go back to the city. The spelltome is the cave artifact. Sure, I'll include a vote in the next update if you want.

Maybe just say hi and ask what's up in the city and so on...of course while we're out here we shouldnt forget our true calling of Capitalism! Hence ask how the markets are, if there's anything good on sale and where to invest and which type of slave is in-demand and so on...

Well I guess when you put it like that..*sigh* I never got a chance to be a drizzzt clone man. :(

Btw can you tell me about the Dark Queen Books? Is Elistraee part of it?

EDIT: What if we combined 'the sorry option' and add the 'Kobold army' bit too?

EDIT 2: @butchock @StellarMonarch

Question for you: Can we at least overthrow the Matriachy? Let's be honest if we return to Drow society to lead them they'll want to kill us. If we serve our mother then either she or another Noble House/Lolth's Church will want us dead.

So maybe overthrow it and install my good friends the Elistraeens?

Ummm... *spoilers for a 10 year old series* and praphrasing a lot here, Vharaun was consumed by Mask (or vice versa?) Elistraee was consumed by Lolth, and Lolth's "death" was just a way for her enemies to reveal themselves, which worked incredibly well! It was a very fun series with a lot of interesting characters, too bad the most likeable character died.... though by the Spider Daughter (?) Book series, Elistraee was alive again.

@Birdsie since my write-in is about ruling, and i dont want to move to Lawful-good/neutral territory (we are currently nuetral evil) can you allow it to be +1 Lawful?

Wait didn't Elistraee also eat/get eaten by her brother Mask? ((Which sounds so fricking dirty when I read that. Sister and Brother eating each other? Only the Drow.))

Although I must ask butchock what about when/if we win? What then loot the city? We can't rule the drow without expecting a comeback from somewhere or someone trying to kill us later. It's just how it works in the Underdark.

Will you consider moving to the surface a bit more?

I want to conquer both because i'm silly like that! I think we should just make the city open to all drow god worshippers so that we can pit them against each other. See my above post.

Sure.

Elistraee is another matriachy (poor Ryld), Vhaeraun is the god of drow males and shadows and he is the primary supporter of overthrowing his "mother's" matriarchy. I kinda like him but he's a chaotic evil god. Supporting all dark elf gods as equal (except Lolth) is a better idea IMHO.

Wait what? Since when I thought her thing was about treating people right and protecting refugees. Since when? Lore bits please?

Oh god WOTC please don't GW on me. No. NOO.NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

WAIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU!

um both? Clarification Kobold Tribes and the Drow city right?

What about the Quest for knowledge or w.e is going on?

Communities

Most Eilistraeen/Eilistraee-dominated (as generally Torilian people tend to worship more than one deity) communities form around a temple or shrine of the goddess and for this reason they are usually led by priestesses, but any member can express concerns and ideas about any matters, and priestesses listen to them before making their decision. Outside of the Clergy, male and female worshippers usually have the same duties and roles: guardians, warriors, experts, artisans/artists, gathering food and other general works. Males are primarily involved in the decision-making through their expertise in given fields, but they rarely are priests (and therefore leaders). Differently from Lolthite societies, males are however generally treated with fairness and equality (even if at times, some priestesses or even whole communities could have a different stance, likely because centuries of dogma and tradition due to Lolth's doctrine were hard to overcome)

*Sigh*

The ladies in these communities need a mans touch I believe.

Clerics of Eilistraee are individuals of any race, but almost always female, because – due to the goddess' nature of nurturing mother – One cannot truly feel the Divine Dance of Eilistraee PROPERLY except as a female. However, during the 1300s, the faith of Eilistraee started to open up to male priests: this was Eilistraee's choice and by 1373 DR all her clerics were aware of it (as the goddess is close to her clergy).

@Birdsie

What year is it btw?

IIRC, to prove her loyalty, the drow convert has to kill the only person that love her (note that the priestess does not love the guy in turn but she was kinda fond of him?) Anyway, she killed Ryld and gained an awesome sword of goddess slaying which then resulted in something that Elistraee didnt expect...

The gm granted my write-in as a +1 Lawful but we still remain evil! Yay!

Can you say that again? Sentence was a bit off.

Did you mean that Elli (shortening that now) killed someone for a sword?

Ok, sorry about that, Elli managed to convert a lolth priestess on to her side but she needed to test the loyalty of said drow and the test was to kill the guy (Ryld) that followed this priestess around like a puppy. The priestess killed the guy and from his love (and hate?) Emerged a sword capable of killing a goddess...

A sword to kill a Goddess...I think I know this story so she sent the new convert to kill her mom in the Daemon Web Plane thing? But it backfired because Elli took direct control and then she was silenced?

Sounds like a one off thing to be honest. I think that was a singular bad piece of writing. I mean its canon but yeah.

I'm going to go for neutral knowing Drow. Philosopher King sounds badass.
