As a favor to Mort. But may I suggest not actively shittalking the fans of one franchise and the site as a whole and chase away any more possible voters?

[X] Makes sure she finds Sayaka, to talk about the events of this day.

And what a good role model. entering a shouting match with a middle-schooler while trying to break their spirits.

No no, their spirits were already broken, Oren was just finishing the job so they could rework themselves into something less broken :V

I mean, all arguments aside, it feels like what Madoka would do to me.

Update 3 - Transfer Student
[X] Makes sure she finds Sayaka, to talk about the events of this day.

The walk to school wasn't overly long, but Madoka was rushing more than usual today. Not because she was late or anything like that. Rather, she just wanted to make sure she didn't miss Sayaka.

Usually, the two of them met up about halfway between Madoka's home and the school, with Sayaka getting their first most of the time and waiting for Madoka to walk by before the two continued onwards together. Considering how annoyed Sayaka had been yesterday, though, Madoka wanted to make sure she caught her friend. It would be too much like Sayaka to just continue on by herself to avoid talking about something that was frustrating her.

Madoka, honestly, didn't have a plan for what to actually say to Sayaka, if she was still bothered by what the patissiere had said. Maybe she wouldn't be able to say anything-

Madoka broke off that mental train of thought, mentally scolding herself. If Sayaka looked like she was still bothered by yesterday, then she'd have to say something. What kind of friend would she be if she didn't?

Madoka snapped out of that thought as she noticed she was reaching the crossing, and she took a moment to wait for cars to go by before she continued walking. On the other side of the street, walking towards the corner, was her blue-haired friend.

Hurrying across the road, Madoka rushed after her friend.

"Sayaka!" She called, as she closed the gap. "Wait for me."

Sayaka stopped, and looked back, at Madoka's call. The pink haired girl reached her side after a second, and took a moment to catch her breath.

"Hey, Madoka." Sayaka replied, looking kinda embarrassed. "Uh, sorry for not waiting. Still kinda moody, didn't want to put you in a bad mood too..."

"It's fine." Madoka replied, as she caught her breath again. "I get it. I just thought it'd be better if you talked about it, if you're still bothered by yesterday."

Sayaka was quiet for a moment, before she started walking again. Madoka followed her, keeping pace, as the two continued on their way to school.

"...Stupid cake maker." Sayaka muttered, as she walked. "What would an old man know about what teenage girls should do anyway? Even if he's immature enough to scream at people for questioning him. Bah."

Madoka nodded, trying to figure out if Sayaka was just annoyed at Oren in general, or if he had managed to say anything that was really bothering her.

"Are you alright?" Madoka asked, after a moment. "I mean, you did seem pretty upset yesterday. Between him and the thing with Raid Wild-"

Sayaka groaned, putting her hand over her eyes as she looked upwards.

"I hate them." Sayaka declared, after a moment. "Hase, mostly. I hate him. I hate that asshole so, so much. I'm going to get him for yesterday."

She wrung her hands in the air in front of her, as if she was strangling something.

"I'll kick his ass with my own hands if I can't beat him with Inves, I swear..."

"Um..." Madoka tried to grab Sayaka's attention. "Maybe you shouldn't? I mean, he's older, and he's got friends who probably wouldn't be too happy about you trying to..."

"I know." Sayaka sighed. "I just... God, they annoy me. There wasn't any need for them to come our way, and there wasn't any need for that Charmont guy to give us 'advice' back there. Why can't people just let us do what we want?"

She seemed to stop at that last statement, before she sighed and looked back.

"Madoka?" She asked. "How much did you enjoy dancing? When we actually got to do it, I mean."

Madoka took a moment to think about her answer. Clearly, Sayaka considered this important, and given the current cause of her frustration...

"It's fun." Madoka replied, honestly. "I mean, when you and Hitomi first suggested it, it took a while to get used to, but I enjoyed it. Practicing with you and Hitomi, then doing the moves in public and getting some applause... It was great. It's a shame that we got shut down yesterday, but..."

"Exactly!" Sayaka clicked her fingers, as she pointed back at Madoka. "It's the fact that we're doing it with each other, and getting a payoff for our hard work. That's what makes it enjoyable."

"...Have you been thinking about what Oren said, Sayaka?" Madoka asked.

Sayaka shrugged.

"A little bit." She replied. "But it's fun. You had fun, I had fun, Hitomi presumably had fun. And even if we could have fun doing something else, not now. I'm not letting the jerks win by stopping now."

She nodded to herself, as she seemed to set her decision in stone for the matter.

...She had seemed unsure of herself when she was asking Madoka for her opinion, and as soon as Madoka said it was fun, she settled on it to this degree?

How much of that was based on agreement to what Madoka had said, and how much was based on sticking to the dancing because Madoka enjoyed it?

...Whatever it was, Sayaka seemed to be in a better mode now, so even if Madoka was worried, this was better, wasn't it?

...She'd just have to convince herself that that was the case.

"Oh, Sayaka." Madoka spoke again. "Hitomi kept the food from Charmont last night. She might have some left over to share if we ask her about it."

Sayaka looked back as she walked on, making sure to visibly wrinkle her nose.

"No thanks." She decided. "You can get some if you want, but at this point, I really don't want to have to think about that jerk. Stupid old guy, thinking he's better than me because he was in france and can make cakes..."

She looked forward again, still bitter, and Madoka instantly regretted bringing the topic up.

...Well, this was okay, she supposed. She could talk with Sayaka more later if she had to. Walking onwards, Madoka headed to meet up with Hitomi, on the way to class.
~~~~~
"Attention, everyone!" Miss Saotome drew attention to the front of the class, pushing up her glasses in the process. "I have an important announcement to make!"
Madoka looked forward from her desk, putting all of her attention at the front of the room and away from Sayaka, a seat to the front and left from her.
"I have a very special piece of advice to give to everyone in this room." She continued. "One to the boys, and one to the women."
Slashing her arm down like some kind of angry anime character, Miss Saotome raised her voice.
"Boys!" She called. "When you get a girlfriend, make sure you treat her right and be open and honest with your job status!"
Oh, she had another break-up, didn't she...
"And girls!" She continued, looking around. "Make sure you ensure your boyfriend is being honest with you! Use whatever tricks you need to, to make sure! Offer to walk them to work one day, call them in the middle of the day, whatever it takes to make sure they're being honest."
"What happened, miss?" Asked a girl by the front row.
Miss Saotome pointed at her, clicking her fingers for no apparent reason but to be dramatic.
"He tells me he has this big Yggdrasil job." She nearly shouts. "And then when he's 'Gone to work,' I find him loitering about in a fruit bar selling shady things to teenagers!"
...Wait a moment.
"And it's obviously something shady." Miss Saotome continued, crossing her arms. "He wouldn't even tell me what it was he was selling, and pushed me away when I went to look in the briefcase. Asshole."
A thought suddenly occured to Miss Saotome, who spung around to look over her class.
"Do any of you know him?" She asked. "Honest question, this time. While I doubt any of my precious students would be caught dead with such a shady man, if anyone has evidence that he might be selling something illegal, please let me know so I can report him to the police. It'd tear me apart if Sid was selling drugs and I had missed it."
Sid?
...Huh. That was unexpected. Madoka hadn't really gotten a good look at the Lockseed Dealer, but he hadn't seemed like Miss Saotome's type. She must have really been overcompensating for the last break-up if she was going with someone like him.
Or maybe he had just lied to her a lot. He did pretend to have a Yggdrasil job, as opposed to making money by giving teenagers the tools to summon monsters from another world...
...Where did Sid even get the Lockseeds, anyway?
Maybe that was a train of thought worth pursuing. He had to get them from somewhere, and maybe Madoka and her friends could get Lockseeds from that source without having to pay Sid as much money. Maybe not, but it was worth looking into, at least.
"Stupid idiot in a stupid hat." Miss Saotome muttered under her breath. "Now, let's see, what else did I want to talk about..."
The teacher looked over a piece of paper on her desk, flipping through it until she put her finger on something.
"Oh, right!" She scolded herself alloud. "Silly me, how could I forget. Everybody, we have a new student here today, transferring in."
"Uh..." Sayaka noted, from her seat. "Wouldn't the new student be a more important thing to introduce? I mean, she didn't seem to consider the actually important part of her little announcement until she had already talked, so the new student would've been the priority, wouldn't it?"
"Please come in, Miss Akemi." The teacher called, as the door pulled itself open.
The girl who stepped into the room was somewhat cute, Madoka noted. Her face was framed with black hair, which covered the arms of her red glasses. Purple eyes peered out from the red frame, as she looked around, her two long braids shuffling as she twitched nervously.
Her eyes passed over Madoka, and the pink-haired girl saw something in those eyes, which she couldn't quite put her finger on. It seemed like a... Bittersweet, look? As if she was relieved about something, but was also saddened about something?
"Well, Miss Akemi," Miss Saotome began. "Why don't you talk a bit about yourse-"
Akemi suddenly moved, breaking off from the front of the room with shocking speed towards-
Madoka blinked and jerked back, as a pair of hands suddenly took her own, and those purple eyes were right in her face.
"Madoka!" She cried, her voice tinged with a level of familiarity Madoka hasn't expected, joyous as it sang through the room. "I did it! I became a Magical Girl, went back in time and-"
She suddenly freezes, the manic look in her eye suddenly being overwhelmed by one of terror. Slowly, she spins her head, looking around the room as everyone stared at the two girls.
Madoka barely processed what everyone else was doing, in favour of staring ahead blankly, uncomprehending.
What
She just...
Magical Girl? Back in time? What was going on here?
"Ughhh..." Akemi moaned as she realised what she had said in front of everyone. The room was fill of silence, for a moment, before Akemi's reaction shifted from a passive one to a very active panic.
She jerked back suddenly, letting go of Madoka, and a purple light burst out of her before-
Madoka blinked.
Akemi wasn't in front of her anymore. Akemi was beside her, lightly holding the fabric of Madoka's sleeve. Her breaths were coming out as quick, panicked gasps, and every few seconds, she made a noise as if she was trying to talk, only for it to be crushed by her panic.
Apart from the sound of Akemi's breathing, there wasn't any other sound. Everything else seemed to be frozen in mid-motion, and all the colour had greyed, apart from the colours on Madoka and Akemi.
Akemi's hand nearly slipped off of Madoka's sleeve for a moment, and she desperately held tighter, even as she raised her other hand to her face and put them over her glasses as she looked down, a vague sobbing noise coming from her throat.
Madoka looked at her for a moment, completely lost as to what was going on.
[X] Write-in.
Okay fine I'll give you actual vote options.
[X] Try to comfort the crying Magical Girl... Somehow... She's crying, so the important thing would be to make her feel better, right?
[X] You have no idea what's going on, you'll probably just somehow make things worse if you try comforting her. Try to understand the situation first.
Write Ins are also still accepted but that might change if Lichte and OOW are the examples of write-in I can expect here :V
This seems like a Madoka thing to do.
