    Went and read some of my old SB vs TCB OOC threads for a lark. It's absolutely amazing how far everybody's come, and some of my decisions back then made me pause and think, 'Wait, I /did/ that?'

    How grossly overpowered is an Ether Liner, by the way?

    Depends on the Ether Liner, in the same way as 'depends on the Servant'.

    In general terms though, scale up a few tiers from Servant with similar nature of power, and no weak link of requiring outside energy, and that's generally what you can expect from Ether Liners.

    Saber, maybe Assassin. Would either have the Master find someone to wield him or use the Master themself either in an emergency or if he thought the Master was useless otherwise.

    Question, when, in Fate/Stay Night, Shirou says there's no rules saying imitations can't be better than the originals, isn't that actually a pretty big rule in Nasu that the originals are better?

    So is Jolyne the only JoJo from the original universe whose Stand didn't have a time based ability for their arc? I mean Stone Free had the mobius strip thing but that's more space than time. Jotaro, Josuke, and Giorno all had some sort of time ability at one point.

    But yeah, she seems to be the only one who didn't mirror the villain through time power in a way.

    I think the bit where I explained it the first time got deleted, actually... it was on a profile page conversation.

    Crux of it is, Homura's victory in Rebellion requires Kyubey to volunteer unnecessary information. I shouldn't have to explain why that's OOC. A lot of other actions in it are OOC as hell compared to PMMM

    After watching the Armstrong fights in MGR, do you think Armstrong heard some sort of speech from Snake that let him produce fire the same way Raiden produces lightning?

    But heat doesn't work that way. It doesn't make pillars of flame burst from out of the ground, it just sort of radiates in all directions. The Senator'd have to have some sort of supernatural abilities like Psycho Mantis or Raiden to manipulate them like that.

    I'm actually kind of torn on whether to use Saber because you never know if it's going to turn out to be an epic RP to be remembered, like say both incarnations of the Skyrim RP, or just flop and die like, I dunno, 90% of RPs. If it's the latter, well, I've just wasted a good sheet on a bad RP because I rarely want to recycle my sheets. The enthusiasm just kind of burns out.

    But if it does turn out to be a magnificient RP with a good GM, you don't want to be saddled with anything less than your A-game for the rest of it's duration, like what sort of happened with New Age of Heroes.

    Super glad I picked Ryouga for Cyreni's TCB. If it had been one of those characters I only really like for a relatively short amount of time, probably wouldn't have stuck with it all this time.

    That's because he's the best Ranma character. It's why he so easily steps into the protagonist role in fanfic(whenever he's not being demonized).

    Though I like the majority of them. The only ones I don't particularly like are the Kunos, and I can appreciate even them for their insanity.
