Small correction, the Endbringers *believe* her to be a conflict engine. I'm pretty sure she's just a Godzilla who happens to be connected to the shard network. The Endbringers just... don't have context for that happening. Maybe the shard that Godzilla devoured was originally a Conflict Engine...

Ceramic is just fired clay... normally. His kind would definitely be a more complicated material, but it's still earth at its core. Certainly easier to bend than metal, especially without a teacher.

There are two gods who are specifically gods of Dragons. Bahamut is also a god of Justice. Most DM's run that as a more human kind of justice, where he's a good guy who punishes people who fuck up in general, but there's also the more godly version of Justice where we're not talking mortal laws...

Yea, D&D does something that really just kinda seems natural when you think about it (They're in the name afterall) and basically makes Dragons semi-divine creatures. Ganking a semi-divine creature tends to... upset the related divinity. Killing one is okay...ish, one still might take offense...
