    Indeed. That's cold by the standards of Russia (well, its European part, at least). Though this winter it was very cold in Pechenga (I stayed at my parents' place during the winter holiday break), and I remember that it was about... -37 Celsius for two days straight (on 6 and 7 th).

    I live in central Finland, and the winters have been getting warmer, so last winter the coldest we got was about -27 for few weeks.

    Although it can get rather cold in Lapland. I remember the temperature dropping there below minus thirty a couple of times.

    (My parents and I often travel to Finland. That includes travelling to Vyborg or St. Petersburg via Finland, because Finnish roads are better than ours. :) )

    What prompted this if I might ask? Not sure why anyone would want to follow me, I never produce anything notworthy.

    It makes it easier to check interesting/nice people's frontpages, and I've found some good fics/quests on SV by occasionally checking what people I'm following are doing.

    I intended to follow sooner, but I have a really bad memory, so I just kept forgetting.

    Cold spell just hit us and there's snow everywhere. Yup, now this has started to look like a proper Finnish Spring.

    I'll be going on vacation to Canary Islands with my family and relatives for a week starting tomorrow. No Internet access there.
