For the record, there is some basic IFF with regards to Berserkergang, but it relies on what the Berserk sees before popping Berserkergang. If a Berserk sees you turn invisible or otherwise disappear while they're in the 'gang, then they'll try to find you. But if you turn invisible before they...

All Berserks have Frenzy, but having Frenzy does not make you a Berserk

Note: This was a pretty quick map all things considered, I'll likely be adding stuff to it as we progress

Sir is cooler, so it’s what we’re using. Possibly, but you may be overestimating how much clay there actually is. There’s enough to daub with, but that’s about it

The towers are in Wessex and Thanet, yes. Thanet has the unenviable position of being strategically important yet too small of an island, in an awkward enough spot geographically, to actually support a proper burh on it, so it's forced to rely on its own strength. Which, as the case often...

Ooooo, yeah, that makes more sense for the artificial reef thing than what I was imagining

I'm sorry, but I'm having a great deal of trouble wrapping my head around what you want to actually do. Like, are we talking pseudo dragon's teeth sort of deal? Getting a bunch of boulders and laying them out to prevent landings?

Honestly, I question how you would go about actually carving the bloody things. Not exactly a surplus of stone workers on Thanet. Plus, wouldn’t the reefs be, you know, underwater and thus quite difficult to make?

Watchtowers: Standard coastal towers, one every few miles, save for literally right next to Sarre. Supposedly, this means that the burh can gather its forces and march to your aid. In practice, given the channel, this is more so that the Thanetmen can ready themselves for battle. Alfred was...

As of this moment, you have requisitioned a larger house owned by a late villager to be used as your base of operations until a proper manor befitting your status can be constructed. Sarre itself is located on the Western side of the Island, facing England proper across the ~600 meter-wide...

I'm mostly memeing with the details, people, details comment. You float ideas, I ask the questions that need to be answered for us to come up with a value estimate You could answer the 'how many watchtowers' question with 'enough to cover every landing site' and I would accept that as a valid...

Walls, eh? What kind of walls? What's the entrance looking like? How many entrances? Are the walls walkable or are they obstacles alone? How much do you want to encircle with your walls? Plenty of questions to answer, there. All of which need to be answered if you wish to build stuff. Not...

Potentially. They would be spread extremely thin and utilize all of your Hama to do, and you wouldn't be able to tell an invader from a not-invader, but that is something you could do, theoretically

Perhaps. I will note that 'killing intent' isn't really a thing in this setting. I think it's a bit silly, to be quite honest. You don't usually need a special magic sense to be able to tell that someone's trying to kill you, after all.
