    No I've simply got way too many things happening to effectively accomplish anything on any one of them at any one point.

    Update 124 is done at 4000 words and off to the Betas. Some well-written emotional stuff here from a tragic figure of the series I think.

    Update 124 will be the Riverlands chapter, while 125 is the Tourney of Riverrun and 126 will be Redfort, pending any details.

    No one would sail for Valyria unless you could give them explicity, undoubted guarantees of coming back alive. And then roll a Nat 100 to make it. In a roll with negative modifiers.

    More seriously, I hope we don't get stuck in the Riverlands. Please, for the love of god, at the very least don't entrench us there, or stay for too long even, because we won't leave for Valyria otherwise.

    As is, I'm hoping you guys will at least stick around for the next two years to ground Bran well enough before going off elsewhere for a crazy adventure, but I can fit everything I need to in one year and then let the rest float out after you leave since it doesn't directly necessitate your presence.

    At least people have gotten over that madness. There was a lot of butthurt for a while, afterwards.

    Now though, people just egg on Metas when he's making people facepalm and jawdrop.


    Mood whiplash between Wulfhart nearly dying and Metas having shenanigans in Nuln is one of the best parts...

    Probably because SV/SB prefer to plot with an all powerful character and consquently simply be more creative with the end-result than having to fear for the end-result.

    While not 'all-powerful' Metas is, admittedly, A GAME BOSS.

    And so is kinda strong for a protag.


    That said, i still manage to bullshit my way into throwing them into painful situations that nearly kill them (they are currently being pile-drived by a dragon).

    Because fuck stomping the world, in true Souls way you're getting a CHALLENGE!

    Update 119 of DOTN is already at 2000 words. Currently writing battle scene, should be 5 or 6 sections over all.
