    Can I put up a thread where I show scans for lore from 1st Edition Rogue Trader about the Emperor, the Sensei, the Star Child, the Horus Heresy, and so on? Its mostly just to show what has remained in the lore since and what is different. I will as well talk about Perpetuals and a few other recent lore pieces.

    Ya owe me more Amu, candle-head. You can't just weld together a wonderfully complex and interesting cosmology from half-a-dozen sources, fill that world with great characters and concepts, promise me more of said world, and then not follow through. It's just not polite. :V

    I didn't intend to hurry you so much as praise you and not-so-subtly inquire on how the update was coming along. Still, it's good to know it wasn't abandoned. I don't exaggerate when I say it Shard of a Broke Sun is one of my favorites quests... everywhere really.

    In a predictive neural network, it's the degree to which sensor input doesn't match the prediction and something therefore needs adjustment. It's a large part of how our own brains work.

    Okay, I am going to settle the issue of whether your flame exists in such a way that it will be completely untouched. This is a pan of Jiffy-Pop. It will be placed above your head and if there is any popping after a few minutes then it is clear that there is a flame and we all aren't suffering from a mass hallucination. Plus, I'll split the popcorn. If there isn't then we all go to therapy.

    I know how the dialogue goes. I express confusion about a "hairband", you explain it's holding my supposed flame in check, or on top of my head, and I have to explain you're seeing things.

    Let me skip to the end: You're seeing things. I'm not wearing a hairband, I'm definitely not on fire, and what you see is what you get. This is my normal appearance.

    I don't recall the wording, but I believe there was a project for making the creation of AIs like Iris a mundane possibility, not dependent on Practice at least. If that happens, then the resulting children will still be, well, children.

    Acquiring a little sister for Iris should be straightforward, and I do believe current culture leans towards large families.

    AI 'birthing' is something that's a very much long term prospect, given how much luck it took to create Iris. VIs are easy, AIs are a lot harder - and for reasons that you've still not uncovered quite yet. There's an option to look into it next turn when you take control of Arcadia, but it's a...long one in terms of time.

    Strongly feel that either I phrase my question wrong or you don't getting it. If instead of SMT-verse Exaltation drifted to Exa Pico, it would not be able to connect to anyone due to Exa Pico being sapient universe filled with sapient worlds?

    In the event that an Exaltation drifted into Exa Pico, it would be easily able to exalt someone, but would also be in a universe that has far too many, far too *powerful* gods all over the place. Depending on what the Exalt does, it's entirely possible it ends up being kicked out after a single incarnation.

    That's not really a concern. Yes, it may be what ends up happening, but it isn't what made things difficult.

    Long story short, I've got a lot of plot notes to finally write. Keeping it in my head worked well for a while, but..
