[X] Frontier (Cargo, Evacuation, Medical) [ ] Support (Cargo, Fabrication, Repair) Would be happy with either of these, even if I prefer Frontier.

Not to mention, as I've noted earlier - that's probably range at efficient cruise, not maximum. By making Efficient Cruise cover that much distance, we're also increasing the distance the ship can cover at its maximum cruise without needing to be refueled, potentially drastically increasing the...

For what it's worth, that range extension now will become more and more useful as the Federation gets bigger over time - and being able to give Federation captains a sizable margin for "there's an emergency over there, punch it", ie., making frequent use of its Maximum Cruise (or pushing up to...

I'm genuinely torn - on the one hand, that described mission profile of loading the fuck up on supplies and just cruising for years helping out in the border colonies sounds really useful both from a rebuilding standpoint and security standpoint (harder for pirates to get firmly established if...

Actually, it seems that "first person shot and second person shot swap powers" is how the gun works. So Taylor and Panacea get swapped, then Regent and one of the normals in the bank get swapped, giving her his powers and bringing Alec down to normal, and then two normals get shot resulting in...

I'm going to hold off on voting because I genuinely think either option would be good, and therefore don't actually care which one wins. I'm more interested in other modules we might get access to, and how they can be synergized with what we already have on hand.

Also, IIRC the common explanation for that warp attack trick is that Kirk got unlucky with the timing on that emergency warp jump, and grabbed the torpedo with the edge of the Enterprise’s warp bubble.

I was thinking of making it something like, if I were stylizing it as a vote option for naming the prototype: [ ] UFS Federation, named after important pieces of the Federation's history, be they stars or ships. The deliberate intent being 'this is what gets us a UFS Kumari + allows for the...

Considering the wider firing arcs of our Mark 2 phaser banks (even the Mark 2-2 upgrade), I could see how that might get the described coverage - especially if they were spaced better to take advantage of those wide arcs without opening anything but a rear gap. Having a ~90 degree cone out the...

I mean, in terms of tonnage and dimensions, IIRC this is actually pretty close to Thunderchild and her sisters - and is definitely the heaviest ship the Federation has built so far.

Honestly, for Federation, I could see the naming scheme just being "Important names in the Federation's history" - ie., you could just as easily have a UFS Kumari NCC-1905 as you could a UFS Thunderchild NCC-1901, or ships named after Federation member worlds, or something else.

It seems there's an early consensus on four launchers firing Mark IV torpedoes, which is fine by me - that leaves us neatly more heavily armed than even a refit Miranda or Excalibur in both phasers and torpedo banks, while also being better at rapid response than any ship before it (especially...

[X] Two Forward, Two Aft (Mark IV) [24/72 Damage] [Cost: 169] Yeah, prototyping the new torps makes sense to me - and this puts us only slightly more than double the Miranda's cost, for a significant bump in firepower and the greater durability and utility of the larger hull.

Looking at Sayle's latest tally, it seems like the 10 bank option of the newest phasers is ahead - which, as I'd noted in my vote post, is fine by me, because I cared more about "new phasers" than "how many new phasers". 1611620
