    Really though, no rush, I'd rather wait six months for a game with your heart in it than have you force yourself to play something you hate. Though if you ever need another hand keeping the wheels spinning I'd love to help.

    No need to bail on Thunder's Echo, a Quest where everybody just agrees with one another and nods sagely as they all vote for the winning bandwagon is boring as all get it.

    Are you ever going to do another quest like the Exalted one you ran? I'm not a fan of Exalted but I loved the quest and the difficulty you threw at the players.

    Hey, I just wanted to stop by and apologize for how things turned out in the Gardens; I understand what it's like to contribute passionately and be disappointed in the resulting outcome. For what it's worth, we've yet to devolve into a monster, have basically become the opposite of the stereotypical determinator protagonist, and your suspicions about the Strategist seem to have been valid.

    I sympathize on the stress front, but up until now, the shoe has been very firmly on the other foot. Arthur's the most moral protagonist we've had since Hector of Troy; selfishness has lost at every turn.

    Which is why I kept reading the thread even as I didn't participate, but I'm quite troubled about the decision to go with a sword that literally refused to tell the playerbase what it wanted, and then the first thing showed that what it wants is for Arthur to be self-centred and power-hungry at the expense of everything else. They're barely managing to handle the Strategist who can't actively punish.

    I checked up on it and... "Out of the frying pan, into the fire" is a description that still holds true. Things right now are decidedly /not/ okay. High risk, danger, tensions, etc.

    If you value calmness and peace of mind, I would /not/ read the latest adventures.

    Quite honestly the extent to how much worse it could have gone and the interesting information about Ulgyr has done a lot to keep me from panicking.

    Somehow I have hope that Rambert'll manage against all odds...well, again.

    Oh hell the fuck yes. I laughed myself silly when I first saw that video, but all versions of it were so low quality. Didn't know there was a recent HD version. AND there's going to be a sequel? Hell yes. I think I'll put the video link in my sig...

    Heh. Browsing backwards, and thought about it. On the Dark Eldar Stupid Forge World Win, there's a simple, annoying explanation for that: 'Eldrad Ulthan Is A Dick'. 'Man, the humans just got a thing that will let billions more of them survive life and war. Can't have that. Time to manipulate EVERYTHING to keep that status quo going.'

    Eh, an extra 25 Common Alloy would let us start putting down hab barracks per round in Deus Ex Mechanicus quest. Nothing amazing, but nice. Or an extra Barracks once per round once we finish the food. First 3 turns, though, well, pretty much all mineral output is used, y'know?
