Harry is very intelligent and wise for his age. Unfortunately, that means he can understand that his 'family' will never love him... which starts him on a dark path, especially after he discovers that he has powers most people do not. Whether he will keep his (shaky) morals or not remains to be seen.
No metamorph powers for Harry or anything like that (except maybe Animagus), no 'staff instead of / in addition to a wand' nonsense, and only 'normal' wands for him, nothing that could...
