[X] EYE LASERS!
-[X] To her wand arm. She tried to burn off your leg, we'll repay her in kind.
[X] Send Messengers to tell Louise she should make the fool mage stop before we have to kill her.
-[X] If the mage insists on continuing, blast her other arm.
Sending a messenger to Louise, your third eye opens, radiating red light. With a burst of light, your Eldritch laser springs forth, burning through the clothing on the girl's wand arm and disabling the arm, her wand tumbling uselessly to the ground. Staring up at you in abject horror, she makes an attempted grab for the wand, cut short by one of your head-tentacles snatching up the odd arcane tool. Gritting her teeth, the girl dives at you, her good arm balled into a fist, before getting plowed back against the wall of Colbert's workshop, unconscious.
Glancing over at Louise, you retrieve the unconscious Siesta. "Don't worry, I'll tell Colbert about her. The sooner we start your training the better."
Louise shakes her head. "N-no, it's fine. That Zerbst finally bit off more than she could chew."
Nodding your inhuman head, you make your way into the workshop.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Transforming your Reiterpallasch into gunblade mode, you leap back, taking a few potshots at Siesta. The girl, for her credit, is holding her own, Hunter's Axe extended and dodging through every shot.
Grinning, you dodge forwards, swiping a few times unsuccessfully at Siesta, before surprising her with a transforming attack, slashing a large gash in her stomach. Crying out in pain, she falls to the ground clutching her stomach. The wound, however, has already started healing; courtesy of the properties of your training room.
"Be more careful next time, Siesta." you lecture as you help her up off the ground. "A lot of other Hunters favor the "false inexperience" strategy of pretending to slash about aimlessly, before surprising you with a different attack."
Nodding in understanding, Siesta accepts the flask of water you hand her, drinking it eagerly.
"So, how'd you become a Hunter?" you ask, attempting to make idle conversation.
Siesta shrugs. "Its in the family I guess. My grandmother was a Hunter, as was her father before her. She left my father her Hunter's Axe when she died, but he was never one for fighting. So I took up the mantle instead, defending my village, Tarbes, from orcs and the like."
You nod in understanding, although your case was quite different. Quite different indeed.
