@Asmodemus The Kal'Rava prefer fighting their enemies head on and in the heat of battle, for they believe in the glory and honor of hard-won victory. However, they will not detract other methods of war, as they realize that oftentimes you have to do what is needed in order to live and fight another day.

Mmm.

Options I can see:

Option 1: Dishonorable Treachery:
Send faked distress call, set up fake scene of battle, have Zerg seeming to mass for attack in areas not easily bombarded. Khalai Protoss show up to back up Kal'Rava maybe given their likely need for warriors after losing their homeworld, fun times smacking them from the front and the back, remaining toss on the ship above cry treachery and we need to fight the ship of the angry toss.

Option 2: Questionably Dishonorable:
No distress call, just ignore the calls if any from the 'toss, have the Kal'Rava ready counters to the Conclave's fun tricks of teleporting and such if they have any. Have Zerg ready up nearby the Kal'Rava visibly as if threatening and have any among their numbers hide. Goal is making them think Zerg are a threat but one the Kal'Rava are holding off but without firm evidence of it. They might show up down there then if the do we declare our alliance and hit them in theory. Downside of letting Artanis potentially convince them to side with them instead of us.

Option 3: Fuck Off We're Coming For you
Ready our forces. Stand firm together, have the Kal'Rava declare their strength grows and that Zerg and True Protoss shall stand together against the Conclave's remnants. Likely engage in a heck of a fight if they don't hesitate and pull back for reinforcements.

We must firmly consider what our opponents and we have and of course remember that Protoss can burn entire worlds with their biggest ships.

You have tons of biomass, two eras worth of Swarm DNA, and several days worth of time to prepare.
Start working lad.

Do our buddies have an estimate on incoming enemy fleet numbers?

The Kal'Rava might have insights into Conclave designs we would only have Zerg views on. Might want to converse with them about design if we're aiming to create some 'toss killers instead of utilizing what designs we have.

At least our buddies have a sizeable fleet of their own.

I'm thinking we want a boarding ship, beefier than sacs, meant to smash through Protoss' defenses and deliver forces onto a mothership. Something super tanky. Maybe outer layer ablative chitinous bone plates meant to be burst off and shotgunned out to spread damage further, either for dealing with too thick fighter swarms to let boarder ships behind penetrate or to cause more damage/take out ground units around inside as an inner gel sack ruptures and unleashes the invading units to run rampant.

Alright mates.
It's been four days and only two people have voted.
It is 11:00 AM EST Friday.
I'm giving y'all until 7:00 PM to come up with a plan or vote on one of the given choices. Story has to continue.

[X] Immediately begin expansion. Take 20 Shuttles full of minions to colonize the nearby asteroids and planetoids.

You have ten minutes left to vote or otherwise come up with a plan. Make it count. The Quest will continue with or without you, and this is your chance to change the outcome.

So the vote is decided, and I now have a question.

Do you want all the planets/asteroids under your control all on one page, with "Brontes IV Profile" becoming "Swarm Profile"? Or separate posts for each planetoid?

Alright. New things are under construction, gonna take me a few hours, probably a day and a half to organize everything and actually make new options for each planet.
