Since time immemorial, the history of the land known as Jihopan has always been one of conflict. Written records and oral history paint a tale of war between humans, animals, and demons, the webs of conflict engulfing all three of them into civil wars and wars with each other. Humans had technology on their side, able to craft weapons to injure others, armor to protect themselves, and other improvements to their homes. Animals were able to use natural energy and the advantages of their own bodies. Humans and animals would sometimes unite and sign pacts, allowing the humans to summon the animals in times of need. Both were unanimously opposed against the vile demons, which combined the aspects of the two.
It is difficult to separate legend from reality in the history of these times. One prominent figure that made a radical change in the world was Hagoromo Otsutsuki, a man known as the Sage of the Six Paths. He possessed unique eyes known as the Rinnegan, which gave him unique powers akin to those of animals and demons. He learned how to harness the energy within the body and, emulating the techniques of the animals and demons, developed ninjutsu. A man that desired an end to the conflict, the Sage taught people how to use ninjutsu, as well as spreading a message of peace. To achieve piece, one thing was apparent: the demons had to be fought back, for they were a force incapable of anything but warring against others. The Sage and his followers traveled the land, fighting the demons and beating them back into the dark crevices of the earth from which they emerged. The Sage eventually faced the Lord of All Demons, the Jubi, and defeated it. He used the powers of his Rinnegan to imprison the Jubi in a celestial rock prison on the moon. Now that the Jubi and the demons were gone, peace had finally reached the world.
The Sage had two sons, one who inherited the power of his eyes and one who inherited his spirit and will. The two competed to be his successor, and both had differing views of peace. The older son, Okuninushi, wanted to use power to dominate and unite the people of the land into one nation. The younger son, Ninigi, opposed this view, saying that love and freedom is the way to peace. On the Sage's deathbed, the younger son was chosen as his successor. His views are why the people of the world are not united as one and why there are separate countries.
The sons feuded for quite some time, but they eventually made bitter peace with each other. It is said that the older son sired the clans that possessed doujutsu-- the Hyuga (of the Leaf), Eizan (of the Stone), and Kodokuna (of the Hot Springs). The older son's descendants immediately settled down in one area (said to be in the northern area of the present day Fire Empire), though conflict eventually drove some of them apart. The Uchiha clan would come about when one Adra Hyuga's eyes changed one day into a fierce red, possessing strange abilities different from the Hyuga's Byakugan. Adra was exiled from the Hyuga clan due to fear of gaining power from demons. Similar clans arose from undocumented changes in the other two doujutsu, these clans being the Egami (of the Frost) and Sanzo (of the Moon) clans.
The younger son, on the other hand, sired the Senju (of the Leaf), Uzumaki (of the Whirlpool), and Hattori (of the Rain) clans-- clans which possessed great spirit and natural talent. Of these clans, the younger son's descendants would travel the world and mingle with the natives of these lands. This is why the widespread Hatake (of the Leaf), Sarutobi (of the Leaf), Fuuma (of the Valley), Terumi (of the Mist), Fukui (of the Cloud), and Getsuken (of the Moon) clans are all said to be able to be traced back to having roots in one of those three clans. Other clans that emerged during this time were clans that practiced their own unique form of ninjutsu, or those that were able to combine elements. Over time, the clans settled down in various locations, but feuding would emerge between the clans at times. The peace soon gave way as feudal lords began allying with the clans as they tried to form territories that they controlled.
The conflict exploded in one area that would today be known as the Fire Empire. Shinobi clans of all kinds, allied with various feudal lords that sought control and territory, would wage war. During this period, terrifying monsters known as the tailed beasts would emerge throughout the world. If they were slain, then they would simply revive a few years later, just as powerful as before. One theory about their appearance is the foul chakra of the Jubi seeping out from its prison, but there is no known fact behind their origin.
Some time into these first clan wars, Adra Uchiha, the sole progenitor of the infamous clan, would make his mark known on the world. From the demonic powers in his body and eyes, he sacrificed himself on his deathbed and halted the process of aging past a certain point. From the chaos of this radical change came the order of the strong, and the desire to show their strength. The arrival of the tailed beasts, as well as the beginning of the eternal war of the shinobi empires, marks the first recorded year of history, where legends fade away completely.

These will be a mix of canon and original characters, depending on which Empire you choose. So choosing the Leaf Empire would give you canon choices like Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, etc etc but something like the Mist Empire would mostly be OCs with the occasional canon character due to a lack of canon to draw from.)

Greetings! I am Megacookie and this will be my third attempt at a Naruto Quest here. The last two, one of which was the same Empires idea, fell through due to personal reasons and lack of interest. However, I have tried to write this story before on a different site but I hope to bring it here and actually get it finished!
As the title says, this Quest uses an AU, one known as Pyroverse! The creator of the Pyroverse, @pyroflare77 will basically be the co-author but I will be doing a majority (if not all) of the writing while Pyro helps behind the scenes. Anyway, the Pyroverse is basically a modified version of Naruto canon that has been worked and tinkered on by both Pyro and I (mainly Pyro, I only take credit with creating some characters) so things might be different than canon.

These will contain the information about a character, including their stats and available techniques.
Stats:
The stat system is merely the canon stat system, except doubled. So a 5 in Kishimoto's system would be a 10 in mine. Rather skilled people can earn a 10+, showing great skill or natural talent in a stat. More rarely, someone can earn the highest stat possible, a 10++. This means a person excels in the stat or is an extreme prodigy. The eight stats are as follows:
-Ninjutsu:How skilled, strong, and knowledgeable you are in using Ninjutsu techniques. -Taijutsu: How skilled and knowledgeable you are in hand to hand and weaponry skills. -Genjutsu: How skilled, strong, and knowledgeable you are in using and recognizing Genjutsu techniques. -Intelligence: A more passive stat, this is how smart, cunning, and aware you are in all situations. -Strength:How physically strong you are. It also doubles as your durability stat. -Speed: How physically fast you are. Also includes general agility an dexterity. -Stamina: This is how much energy, both physical and chakra wise, you have. -Hand Seals: How quick you can fire out jutsu. It also doubles as your chakra control stat.
Chakra Costs:
Most jutsu need a certain amount of chakra to utilize. From lowest to highest, the costs are as follows: None, Minimal, Low, Medium, High, Massive, Monstrous, Fatal.
There's no main correlation to these costs and the stamina stat. I'll generally just eyeball them and scope out how a character is doing stamina wise by feel. But in general, a man with 10 stamina could probably spam more high cost jutsu than a man with 5 stamina.
Game Overs:
Should the event arises where you guys get killed, do not worry! For each arc, you will be afforded 3 lives. You spend one life and restart from the place you died at. However, should you continue to die after the 3 lives are up, then you'll restart from where you died, but now with permanent consequences. Too many deaths could put you in a truly unwinnable situation in the plot and shunt you towards a bad ending! However, your lives refresh at the start of every new arc.
Also, should you be fighting with an ally and they get killed, I will give you the chance to use one of your lives to make sure they survive. Any fatal or reasonably dangerous moment will be met with a Critical Moment! tag.
Alignments:
DnD standard fare will be here with the good/evil and law/chaos axes. But now the square is made into a cube with a third axis added showing the honor of a character. Honorable, Quasihonorable, and Dishonorable are the three elements of this alignment axis, and they simply mean if character is generally trustworthy, a wild card, or untrustworthy respectively.
Relationships:
Relationships go from -10 to 10, with 0 meaning neutral. Easy enough to understand! While it differs between characters, generally you need a 6 or 7 to initiate a romance, and getting below a -7 means archenemy territory.
The Quest's Relation to Canon Naruto:
I utilize Pyro's modification of the canon setting, known amongst others as the Pyroverse. It's far more fleshed out as a setting with many additional characters. He has developed it over time as the manga progressed, generally following it until he started disagreeing with many things past the Fourth World War arc, either because he disliked them or they irreconcilably contradicted setting elements he had already made.

In a non-Empires setting, Nou was the second host of the One-Tailed Beast, Shukaku. She was a student of the man that would become the Third Kazekage, Shotetsu, and her teammates were Bankou and Fumi. She and her teammates would end up being significant powers for the Sand during the Second World War, where she was known as the Demon of the Sands and her team known as the Desert Three. Unfortunately, her health would rapidly decline during the Third World War due to the experimental nature of the seal the Second Kazekage used to place Shukaku within her. Her sudden illness and death led to the chaotic situation that required the unprepared transfer of Shukaku into the unborn Gaara.
Ninjutsu:
Armor of Sand:
Using this technique, Nou can cover herself in a compacted layer of sand, providing an additional defense should her Shield of Sand fail; combined, these two are known as Nou's "Absolute Defense". Though quite effective, maintaining the armor requires a large amount of chakra and stamina. Furthermore, it is nowhere as resilient as the Shield of Sand, since it easily breaks away upon impact, indicating that the sole purpose of the armor is to absorb impact channeled unto Nou's body during battle. Another weakness is the additional weight of the sand which leads to decreased levels of speed and mobility.
Chakra Use: Medium but requires upkeep.
Concealed Sand Picture Cat:
By dispersing specialized sand into a specific area, the user is able to discern the presence of bodies that comes into direct contact with it. This sensing sand can be spread across a wide terrain, or even float in the air allowing aerial foes to be detected. Once the sand comes in contact with a person, it will wrap itself around them, rendering even invisible targets, visible.
Chakra Use: Low.
Dance of the Cutting Sand:
Nou's signature jutsu. By mixing sand with various minerals in the ground and compressing them as hard has possible, Nou creates multiple blades of sand that float around her. Nou can control these blades with her power over sand, meaning she can attack while freely using other jutsu or defending. The sharpness of these blades are considered greater than the cutting power of wind chakra infused weapon and are as hard as diamonds, making them difficult to defend to defend against and hard to break apart.
Chakra Use: Medium, but requires upkeep.
Dance of the Desert Sand:
One of Nou's most powerful jutsu. After spreading her sand or turning a large amount of land into sand, Nou compresses the sand until its as hard as diamonds. From there, she makes thousands of spikes erupt from the earth, skewering anybody and anything within its radius. From there, Nou can control the spikes however she sees fit, should the enemy not be defeated.
Chakra Use: Massive.
Dance of the Drilling Sand:
Similar to the Dance of the Cutting Sand, instead of blades, Nou creates diamond hard drill tipped spears instead. Mainly used to impale opponents, Nou can make these spears spin rapidly, increasing their piercing power to the point where its greater then lightning infused weapons.

Dance of the Impenetrable Sand:
A defensive jutsu where Nou creates a large wall of sand between her and an opponent or attack. Then Nou compresses the sand with minerals to create an extremely powerful and sturdy defensive wall.

Dance of the Smashing Sand:
Similar to the Dance of the Cutting Sand, instead of blades, Nou creates diamond hard mallets instead. These mallets have unbelievable crushing power, able to easily smash through rock and even metal. Their strength is enough to cause small craters on the ground upon impact.
Chakra Use: Medium, but requires upkeep.
Dance of the Unbreakable Sand:
A combination of the Armor of Sand and the Dance of the Cutting Sand, Nou compresses the sand around her body until it is diamond hard. The enhanced armor is now nearly indestructible and can even defend Nou against powerful jutsu. However, this hardened sand renders Nou immobile, making her an easy target. Nou gets around this weakness by using Desert Suspension to move around as needed, though she cannot use earth and wind jutsu in this state.
Chakra Use: High, but requires upkeep.
Desert Suspension:
This is one of the multiple offensive and auxiliary methods Nou has thought of during combat. It is a trick where she uses the chakra-enhanced sand to support her own weight and float in mid-air and to use as a method of transportation if needed. By increasing the size of the platform Nou can transport others along with her or even grant some one else their own platform of sand to fly on. This technique apparently uses very little chakra, as Nou stated riding on the sand would help her conserve chakra. Another testament to this technique is its speed; Nou can cover great distances in mere minutes.
Chakra Use: Minimal.
Earth Release: Headhunter Jutsu:
The user sinks into the ground while grabbing their opponent, causing them to sink down into the ground, too. Unless the enemy knows earth jutsu, they will have a difficult time breaking free.
Chakra Use: Minimal.
Earth Release: Hidden Mole Jutsu:
The user converts the earth beneath them into fine sand, allowing them to sink into the ground and dig through it. The user can sense their position underground, as well as the positions of things above the ground.
Chakra Use: Low.
Earth Release: Rock Shelter:
The user surrounds themselves with earth, taken from the immediate vicinity, in order to fabricate a formation of rock that is capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity, if desired. Doing so, seemingly leaves the surrounding terrain unaltered, even when the quantity of earth used is enough to form a complete dome around multiple individuals. The user can also manipulate the resulting shelter to have openings in it so as to be able to observe outside.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Sand Bullet:
Nou forms a small sphere made of sand and compresses it to increase its hardness. The sphere can strike opponents with such speed and force that it knocks them unconscious. She can also change its trajectory, to strike down multiple targets.
Chakra Use: Low.
Sand Clone:
Using sand as a medium, the user can create clones of themselves or others. The clone's form can be changed instantly into sand, and the enemy's body can be trapped. Unlike other clones, it does not dissolve or vanish when hit once, but can reform itself. Its many applications with long-range attacks can have it act as a lure and a decoy.
Chakra Use: Low.
Sand Drizzle:
After clotting together sand into countless small lumps, Nou uses them to attack an enemy from every direction. Because all the sand lumps are controlled by chakra, it is possible to commence an attack without any blind spots. This technique is often used as lure in battle, distracting an opponent and leaving them vulnerable to an attack from below. In order for this to work, the enemy is first made to face upwards with the sand rain, simultaneously bringing their field of activities under the user's control.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Sand Hail:
A larger scale version of the Sand Drizzle, Nou gathers her sand into large clumps in the shape of massive boulder-like formations and then drops them from the sky on to her opponents. It covers a large range, making it difficult to dodge. Like the Sand Drizzle, the technique can distract the enemy with the aerial assault, leaving them open to an attack from below.
Chakra Use: High.
Sand Shuriken:
Nou forms her sand into the shape of multiple shuriken and then launches them at her opponent. Taking advantage of that formidable centrifugal force, the fired blades of sand change into dangerous weapons. Nou creates and fires an uninterrupted succession of sand rounds, tearing everything in sight to pieces.
Chakra Use: Low.
Shield of Sand:
A technique that is unique to Jinchuriki of The One Tailed Beast. Whenever Nou is about to be harmed, a shield of sand will automatically surround and protect her. The sand will react regardless of Nou's will, even protecting her from self-inflicted injuries.
The defensive power and versatility of the sand is where this ability truly shines. The shield was formidable in both speed and strength — capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and blocking fast projectiles. However, it could be defeated with extreme speeds and a great amount of brute force. The Shield of Sand and the Armor of Sand together were known as Nou's "Absolute Defense", well known and praised by many.
Nou can also change the shape of the shield and its density, to increase both speed and defense. The more powerful variations of the shield is that of the Sand Sphere, or Shukaku's Shield. Whenever one form of this defense is breached, Nou has been shown to improve and create other more powerful defenses.
Nou can also completely surround herself in the shield to further increase her defensive capabilities. In addition to being extremely dense, this sand-sphere can form spikes from its surface to spear any would-be attacker. This formation can be used in mid-air. Though with sufficient force, this defense can be breached.

Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains:
This technique creates a large vortex of wind to blast at a target, blowing away anything in its line of path, including jutsu.
Chakra Use: High.
Wind Release: Great Breakthrough:
This is a relatively simple technique that creates a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Wind Release: Knives of the Sky:
This jutsu creates small blades of wind that accelerate forward at great speeds. The wind is sharp enough to easily cut through flesh, making this jutsu a fast and deadly one.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Ball:
This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock. They can be launched in rapid succession.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Wind Release: Violent Wind Palm:
A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Wind Release: Vortex Orb:
This is a powerful wind technique where the user exhales a ball of condensed wind that rapidly spins around, creating suction that draws others near. The sphere contains rapidly spinning winds that will shred whatever they come into contact with.

Ninjutsu:
Brainwash Technique:
The user seals away the target's memories by burying an extremely small needle into the brain's memory centre. The memories can be restored by cancelling the technique, thereby destroying the needle. If a subordinate had this operation done on their brains and has infiltrated in enemy camp, they can safely perform spy activity over a long period of time. If the user cancels the technique, the target will once again remember their mission. The power and extent of the technique can vary: it can be used on an ally to simply shield their mind from possible probing, or it can be used on a weaker person to completely rewrite their memories, or implant a strong suggestion in their mind.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Chakra Threads:
This is a technique that is usually used by puppet users to allow them to control their puppets in battle. Interestingly, as well as pulling objects towards them with the strings, the user can also "push" objects away from them as well, and even get moving objects like buzzsaws. Chakra can also be transfered via the strings, such as to activate some abilities in puppets. This means that the chakra strings can also be attached to other objects, allowing the user to control, or at the very least disrupt, other things. The strings can be made invisible to conceal them from the enemy. This technique is limited to one string per finger for normal humans, but Sasori's modified heart is able to emit enough strings to control over one hundred puppets.

Earth Release: Sand Clone Technique:
The Sand Clone is different from the other types of clone techniques in that the sand does not necessarily completely assume the form of the user, but can remain as sand the entire time. That is to say, the clone's form can be changed instantly into sand, and the enemy's body can be trapped. Its many applications with long-range attacks can have it act as a lure and a decoy. This is where it differs from other clones.
Chakra Use: Low.
Puppet Performance: Skillful Achievement with a Human Body:
A puppet performance technique where chakra threads are attached to various spots on a person's body; the head, torso, both arms, and both legs. The person being manipulated gains the ability to not only use their own techniques, but the skills of the puppeteer as well. The origins of this technique lie on the battlefield. When a puppet user's puppets were all destroyed, they would begin using corpses. To perform this technique with a living person would normally require both parties to cooperate with each other. However, a highly skilled user can control the target by force if the person is severely weakened or damaged rendering them unable to resist.
Chakra Use: Depends on the resistance and strength of the affected person.
Puppet Technique:
The Puppet Technique is a unique ninjutsu fighting style; this jutsu uses threads of chakra to control puppets like marionettes. Any number of chakra threads can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill can use fewer strings per puppet. Both Chiyo and Sasori demonstrated the ability to control entire puppets perfectly using just one thread. While most puppeteers would normally be able to control ten puppets at most (one per finger), Sasori's self-modification allowed him to control up to one hundred puppets at a time. Sasori has also created methods to bypass the traditional weakness of most puppeteers (that they are left open if their puppets are dodged).
Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets:
To begin this jutsu, Sasori removes one summoning scroll from his back. He then opens his right chest compartment to emit more than a hundred chakra strings, which reach into the scroll. From the scroll, more than a hundred puppets wearing red cloaks emerge. These hundred puppets are directly connected to Sasori's core, so there is no time lag between Sasori's will and the puppets' movements, unlike traditional puppets. While these one hundred puppets lack teamwork, they use sheer attrition and numbers to overwhelm their opponents. Even when they decrease in numbers they do not become less dangerous as it merely allows Sasori to focus more on the remaining puppets. As with all of Sasori's puppets, all the weapons wielded are coated in his special poison, which would kill the victims after three days of painful paralysis.

Summoning: Puppets:
Using a scroll, Sasori can summon any of his puppets to his position.
Chakra Use: Minimal.
Puppets: Hiruko:
Hiruko is a puppet used by the Sand Empire ninja, Sasori. As a puppet, he serves as Sasori's "puppet armor", as Sasori is capable of hiding inside of it. Sasori even adorns Hiruko with robes, and hides inside it so often that others come to recognize him only when he is wearing it.
Hiruko is incredibly durable, having a heavy back shell to provide further defense and overall integrity to the puppet's structure. The puppet has an extendable iron tail and contains several senbon ready to be launched from its mouth. The puppet's left arm is shaped like a torpedo, making it a powerful bludgeon, as well as containing several senbon to launch. All weapons installed in Hiruko were coated in Sasori's special brand of poison, which would kill the victim after three days of painful paralysis.
Projectile Stream:
Sasori, while inside of his puppet Hiruko, spits a rapid stream of countless senbon from his mouth. These senbon can be poisoned for further damage.
Puppet Technique: Prosthetic Arm Needles:
While inside of his puppet Hiruko, Sasori fires it's torpedo-shaped left arm towards the enemy. The arm rotates at high speed, launching the wooden cylinders attached to it. The cylinders then open, each one releasing a large amount of senbon, creating a quick rain of poisoned needles in all directions.
Scorpion Stinger:
Hiruko's iron tail that is normally concealed within its body. The tail is incredibly durable, even moreso than the puppet. It can be used offensively by extending forth and stabbing with the sharpened tip, or it can be used defensively by coiling around the body of Hiruko.
Scorpion:
Scorpion is the puppet body of Sasori. When he inhabits it, it contains his heart in the left compartment on its chest and in the right side of his chest compartment was a mechanism that could spun numerous chakra threads, which allowed Sasori to use his Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets.
Its stomach contains a thick cable coiled around a pole (which is coated in Sasori's poison), allowing the puppeteer to use it as a stinger and retract it if necessary. Attached to its back is a scroll holder, containing four scrolls that seem to serve as "ammunition", one of which Sasori uses to store his puppets. Scorpion also has a pair of poles to the back of its hips, each equipped with five large blades that could spin like a propeller, and pipes to each of his hands that could spew out intense fire or powerful jets of water.
Flamethrower:
Sasori can shoot fire from the pipes on his hands, making them like flamethrowers. The flames are fierce enough to melt rocks and incinerate a metal kunai near instantly. It uses the first scroll on his back as ammunition.
Water Stream Shooters:
Sasori can shoot pressurized streams of water from the pipes in his palms, similar to a water cannon. By twisting his wrists like knobs, Sasori can condense the streams into water jet cutters that can slice through rocks and clouds. It uses the fourth scroll on his back as ammunition.

Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet:
The user kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated into a genuine-looking dragon. Since the art of having the flames obey the user's will is outrageously difficult, its mastery is restricted to a limited number of skillful shinobi. The spat out flames are divided to launch a left side, right side, and frontal assault in all three directions at once, turning the enemy into ash in a matter of seconds.

Fire Release: Fire Lance:
This technique creates a large spear of flame that is launched towards a target. There is a surprising amount of force behind this jutsu, capable of throwing back grown men. Upon contact with a surface, the lance will explode, scattering flame around the surrounding area.

This jutsu initially appears as a fireball expelled from the user's mouth, but it unfurls into a net shape in mid-flight. The jutsu can restrain opponents, searing them in the process.

Fire Release: Great Fireball:
A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and expelled from the mouth in a massive orb of roaring flame. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface. This technique apparently requires more than average chakra reserves and most genin should not be able to do this technique.

Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire:
This technique creates a volley of small fireballs, which are spat out of the user's mouth, flying wildly in every direction and assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can be hidden within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Earth Release: Devouring Earth:
This technique allows the user create a massive sinkhole underneath the target. Then using chakra to break down the edges of the sinkhole, the user creates a controlled landslide that will quickly bury the target.

Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave:
The user creates and rides a wave of earth that can branch off to attack from a distance. The user can also use it to manipulate the terrain and hold the opponent in place.
Chakra Use: Medium at the minimum.
Earth Release: Earth Style Wall:
This ninjutsu is used to defend against an incoming attack by creating a solid wall of earth. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water.

Earth Release: Headhunter Jutsu:
The user sinks into the ground while grabbing their opponent, causing them to sink down into the ground, too. Unless the enemy knows earth jutsu, they will have a difficult time breaking free.
Chakra Use: Minimal.
Earth Release: Hidden Mole Jutsu:
The user converts the earth beneath them into fine sand, allowing them to sink into the ground and dig through it. The user can sense their position underground, as well as the positions of things above the ground.
Chakra Use: Low.
Moshirikara:
Stemming from Sozen's right Mangekyo Sharingan is this powerful ninjutsu. Upon making eye contact with the terrain, Sozen can link his chakra to the land, allowing him to terraform and manipulate it to his will. This can range from simply molding the earth to outright changing it into something else, like water or lava. However, the more dramatic the shift, the more chakra it will take to terraform the land. A weakness of this jutsu is that it cannot affect anything in the air or suspended in large amounts of water, due to the link being land only.
Chakra Use: High at the minimum.
Genjutsu:
Demonic Illusion: Army of One:
The user creates a massive amount of illusionary clones. The clones can "injure" opponents, who will perceive pain from their attacks. The clones are indistinguishable from the original, and the opponents will even perceive them as a real person in every way, even when vanquishing one.
Chakra Use: Massive, and requires upkeep.
Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change:
The user decrypts a genjutsu that has been applied onto them and casts back a technique with identical effects onto the opponent. It's a form of illusion reversal, but in order to instantly read through a technique and cast it in return, the Sharingan's power is necessary. As genjutsu is initially used to confuse the enemy, this technique, which sends it right back to its caster, deals a high amount of mental damage, more than anything else.
Chakra Use: Medium.
Demonic Illusion: Shackling Chains:
Firstly, this technique requires the use of the Sharingan. The opponent is caught in the illusionary world created by the user, and the victim will be bound with the sensation of having chains wrapped around their limbs, taking away their body's freedom. This genjutsu is rather difficult to get out of without outside help.

Genjutsu Binding:
As the name suggests, the user binds the opponent in a genjutsu, rendering them incapable of movement. This genjutsu can be used on more than one target at the same time. Once the target is bound, the user or an ally can rush up to the enemy, able to easily deliver a devastating killing blow.
Chakra Use: Low.
Kandakoro:
Sozen's most powerful jutsu that comes from both of his Mangekyo Sharingan. When activated, Sozen will focus on his target and a multitude of colored threads will come from their body. These threads represent everything about that person. From their physical attributes, knowledge, memories, bonds, everything. From there, Sozen can sever these threads, thus taking it away from the target forever. Sozen can cripple the target's body by severing their muscles, turn them deaf, blind, and mute, and even take away their knowledge of how to do jutsu or basic human functions. However, this jutsu requires extreme preparation time and it only works on one person at a time.
Chakra Use: Monstrous.
Nusakoro:
Stemming from Sozen's left Mangekyo Sharingan is this powerful genjutsu. Upon making eye contact, the victim will see the bodies of everyone they directly killed. If more chakra is added, then they will see everyone they killed, even if it was indirect. The extreme mental stress is enough to take down all but the strongest opponents.
Chakra Use: High at the minimum.
Reverse Polarity:
The person afflicted with this technique has his sight and sense of space distorted to the point where right becomes left, up becomes down, front becomes back and vice versa respectively. For instance if he sees an attack coming in front of him to the left and below, the attack is really coming from behind him to the right and above.

Sensual Disruption:
Heavily alters one of the senses of the opponent; for example, having their vision distort and twist, or having their hearing play horrendous sounds or no sound at all. Stackable, but requires more chakra to do so.

Slightly alters one of the senses of the opponent; for example, having their vision shift a few inches to the left to cause misses, or having their hearing delayed by a few seconds. Stackable, but requires more chakra to do so.

Sleep Induction:
This genjutsu is a sight-based genjutsu that causes whoever the user is gazing at the become drowsy. Normally, that is all the genjutsu would do, but Sozen's Sharingan allows him to enhance the genjutsu so that he can instantly put people to sleep.

And Jihopan is the name I made for the "country" that has all the shinobi and encompasses the lands Naruto takes place in. For some reason I made an extended geography of other places outside the canon map that represent other parts of Asia as Jihopan does Japan, but they're not important to this quest. Probably.
I doubt the OC has anything capable of matching something like the Sharingan, sadly. Postgame Sasuke is broken unless he's been severely nerfed this AU.

Adachi is a seventeen year old shinobi who has cut ties with any Empire, being a drifter. This is due to his hatred of the shinobi war that has ravaged the land and he has sought out on a journey to find a way to end the ceaseless battle. Outwardly, he is a goofy, foolish, and some would call dense, but this is merely a guise for underneath he is intelligent, charismatic, and even ruthless at times. On his journey, during a life and death battle he unlocked the legendary power of the Sage of the Six Paths, the Rinnegan. Although highly inexperienced with the legendary doujutsu, Adachi now has the answer to truly end the war.
In battle, Adachi wasn't much to speak of until he unlocked the Rinnegan. However, with its power, his potential to grow is nearly limitless.

Gengyo is a man in his twenties and is firmly loyal to the Rebellion of the Leaf Empire. The Leaf Empire is currently in a civil war between the Rebellion, a group made of the Uchiha, Hyuga, and Aburame Clans, and the Loyalists, spearheaded by the Senju and supported by every other Leaf clan. He was born between an Uchiha mother and a Senju father, giving him the potential of both. However, his body attuned more naturally to the Yin of the Uchiha, allowing him to unlock his Sharingan. Gengyo is cynical and callous, but genuinely zealous to the Rebellion cause. He is in constant conflict with his younger brother, Jomaru.
In battle, Gengyo relies on his Sharingan to help him use various genjutsu to disable the opponent. He revels in trying to break his opponents and trying to bring out their true selves. Otherwise, he is skilled with Fire Release jutsu and has dabbled in Lightning Release.

Jomaru is in his twenties and is firmly loyal to the Loyalists cause of the Leaf Empire. The Leaf Empire is currently in a civil war between the Rebellion, a group made of the Uchiha, Hyuga, and Aburame Clans, and the Loyalists, spearheaded by the Senju and supported by every other Leaf clan. He was born between an Uchiha mother and a Senju father, giving him the potential of both. However, his body attuned more naturally to the Yang of the Senju, granting him enhanced ninjutsu potential and a sturdy body.
In battle, Jomaru is skilled with Earth and Water Release. He mainly combines them with his skills in Taijutsu as he is highly tolerant to pain, letting him push through attacks that could stagger a normal man. As a last resort, he can also open the Eight Gates.

Nou is a woman from the Sand Empire and one of the Jinchuriki Experiments. She was chosen as having high compatibility with The One Tailed Tanuki and had its chakra injected into her. She was highly compatible, enough to gain some of the One Tail's power, but overall she was rejected when The Fourth Kazekage's son was picked as the perfect vessel. Due to this, she is ostracized by a majority of her Empire for being tainted by demon chakra, but her monstrous confidence lets her shrug it off and continue being a loyal shinobi of the Sand.
In battle, Nou can manipulate sand thanks to her chakra being mixed with The One Tailed Tanuki, though her control is nowhere near as strong as Gaara's. With this, she creates diamond hard weapons out of sand and minerals and has them surround her, allowing her to use her hands for wind and earth jutsu if needed.
[] Gaikotsu Kaguya
Gaikotsu is a man from the Mist Empire and part of the brutal Kaguya Clan. The youngest of four siblings, Gaikotsu instantly attracted ire and scorn from his clan and family as he was one of the very rare few to possess the Shikotsumyaku, allowed him control over his skeleton as he pleases. He was locked away by his clan, only brought out when the Mist Empire needed more firepower in the war. Due to this, his sense of morality is rather warped and he tries to turn everything into a joke for his own amusement.
In battle, Gaikotsu can manipulate his skeletal structure as much as he wants, making him a powerful shinobi. However, unlike the past users who focused in taijutsu, Gaikotsu more focuses on bone based ninjutsu. His signature jutsu is Bone Bending, where he is able to control an opponent's body by taking control of their skeletal structure.

Akane is a woman from the Rock Empire. She is a wild spirit, known for constantly disobeying orders to fuel her own agendas, which change everyday. She also has quite the obsession with fire, to the point she's called "The Inferno" of the Rock and her behavior is no doubt fueled by pyromania. She also enjoys intimate female company. However, she is usually kept in check by her twin sister Aoi, her father Shiro, and her uncle Roshi, who is the Jinchuriki of the Four Tails.
In battle, Akane covers the battlefield with large fire jutsu and when she really needs to kill something, she'll use her Lava Release Kekkei Genkai. Her only means of defense is earth jutsu and she has massive physical strength.

Ise is a woman from the Cloud Empire. She is a cool, calm, and collected shinobi who is friendly and kind outside of battle, but passionate inside it. However, she harbors a deep and undying hatred for the Leaf Empire after she traveled through her way into the Leaf so the legendary medical ninja Tsunade could heal her sick boyfriend. Ise was instead captured and tortured by the Leaf until a raid by the Rebellion freed everyone within a Loyalist prison. When Ise returned to the Cloud, she found out her boyfriend had died. Her hatred for the Leaf intensified from there...
In battle, Ise uses the Storm Release Kekkei Genkai to create various laser like beams that she can freely control. While not having raw power on her side, she uses the tricky nature of Storm Release for cunning plans.

Suguru is a man coming from the Frost Empire and the pinnacle creation of Shigetaka Otokorashii. Due to his father's extreme experiments, Suguru has unlocked the power of a Kekkei Tota, Energy Release, which gives him the ability to control, manipulate, and even absorb various types of energy. Due to his upbringing, Suguru knows nothing of the outside world and doesn't know how to properly socialize. His brother is Suchiru Otokorashii, Shigetaka's first son and current leader of the Frost Empire.
In battle, Suguru uses his Kekkei Tota to fire various energy beams, power himself up, and he can even absorb other energy as needed. This makes him a powerful and versatile fighter.

A samurai from the neutral Iron Empire, Hoderi is the older brother of Hoori. Together, they are well known through the Iron Empire for their strength and speed respectively. Hoderi was born without an ounce of talent, but he trained everyday until he became a respected samurai, but this harsh training left him sour and bitter, and with little few he can call friends. He holds a massive grudge for his younger brother, who was naturally talented with a blade since he was a child.
In battle, Hoderi uses the standard Samurai technique of covering his blade with chakra, but instead of the Iaido style Samurai are known for, he uses pure brute strength to crush through enemies with ease. His sword is usually used more as a club, and his endurance lets him get up even after brutal attacks.

A samurai from the neutral Iron Empire, Hoori is the younger brother of Hoderi. Together, they are well known through the Iron Empire for their strength and speed respectively. Hoori had talent for swordsmanship and quickly grew in terms of skill, mastering the Iaido style years before his peers. He has many friends and even a boyfriend unlike his brother due to his easygoing personality. Unfortunately he knows his older brother holds a grudge against him and merely wants to mend fences with him.
In battle, Hoori is known for ending fights in mere seconds due to his speed and skill in Iaido. He is as fast as his brother is strong, but is rather frail compared to his brother.

Kotei is a man from the Whirlpool Protectorate, a nation that is protected by the Leaf Empire. Kotei is a sociopathic and sadistic man who finds no meaning in life, so he lives to the fullest and does whatever he wishes. He is well known for being the only known user of a type of Space/Time jutsu which lets him manipulate and control gravity itself. Kotei has no limiters or filters and is followed by his girlfriend Yukari Uzumaki, his teammate from childhood and who he molded to be his own plaything after years of abuse. Kotei is not a good person.
In battle, Kotei uses gravity Space/Time jutsu to great effect, allowing him to fly freely, manipulate the weight of objects, and even create wells of gravity to crush opponents.

Tazu is a woman from the Forest Protectorate, a nation that unexpectedly won freedom from the Rock Empire and was quickly allied with the Sand Empire for protection. She is a cunning and ruthless leader of a mercenary group known as the The Toxic Moths who has a base in the Forest. Tazu cares not for loyalty, but only for money, which is why a hot spot like the Forest is appealing to her. She hopes to expand her group into the criminal underworld and become respected crime lord.
In battle, Tazu uses her Poison Release Kekkei Genkai, moth summons, and wind jutsu to poison and weaken her foes until she can cut them down with her katana. She will also cheat as hard as she possible can at all times.

Otoshi is one of Orochimaru's greatest experiments, hailing from the Rain-Sound Alliance. Having only been recently created, Otoshi has a childish nature despite having a fully developed mind, which makes him very cocky and even malicious. Due to this, he also loves messing with people in various ways. He is the First of Orochimaru's Five Stars, which mark him as the highest possible authority next to Kabuto and Orochimaru himself. While Otoshi would want to do his own things, his 'father' Orochimaru is generally able to keep him in line and keep him loyal to the Rain-Sound Alliance.
In battle, In battle, Otoshi is a master swordsman and able to manipulate Yin and Yang energies. He is an excellent sensor who can detect even the most minute of changes, which helps since he cannot see-- he has an artificial doujutsu made by Orochimaru that grants control of anyone who looks at the eyes that cannot grant vision. Finally, he is an artificial human, more durable than most due to lacking a majority of internal organs and because his chakra regenerates injuries.

Jiao is a woman from the eastern land of Qinguo, and a princess of the Tiger Country. Sick and tired of trying untangle the bureaucracies of her land, she learned the language of Jihopan and escaped from her pampered life in order to become a leader there. However, she quickly found that Jihopan was in a bitter war and was swept up into the conflict. Still determined to become a grand ruler, Jiao now begins planning her conquest of Jihopan. As for her personality, she is a vain, arrogant, and spoiled woman who demands everything and anything and never tolerates disrespect.
In battle, Jiao was born with telekinetic powers that allow her to fly, make barriers, and even fire blasts of telekinetic energy. With this power, she can also convert elemental attacks, such as turning a sturdy earth jutsu into an intangible wall of fire. Due to being part of royalty, she can also use all Five Elemental Styles from Qinguo. The Tiger Style allows her to manipulate metal, The Qilin Style allows her to manipulate wood and even air to a minor extent, The Phoenix Style allows her to manipulate fire, The Tortoise Style allows her to manipulate water, and finally the The Dragon Style lets her manipulate earth.
