GSC Game World has announced S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, the latest entry in the first-person shooter survival horror series S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which saw its first release in 2007 and latest release in 2009. It will launch in 2021.

Huh, I thought GSC had gone out of business. (Looks like they did but re-opened). Well much rejoicing from me, I loved Call of Pripyat,
 
Well...damn, as someone who loved the original game this is good news...assuming it doesn't wind up as vapourware.
 
Whoa, I hope something comes out of this! I've always liked the games, though I've never had the chance to sit down and finish any of them.
 
First RAGE 2, now Stalker 2, this just seems like the week to announce out of nowhere sequels.
 
Wow. I didn't expect this. New Metro, and now this! Can't wait :D
