Rising Stars (Stellaris) [Video Quest]

Science ship vote is unanimous, and Dwight Novak for the new scientist with 4 votes. but split votes on who he will replace. 2 for Tricia, 2 for Conan. since it's a united plan vote, I will go with Conan unless Tricia gets a vote from someone who has not voted.

Kaltrox, you should only vote in one of the forums, not both. since the one one SB was placed a minute before the one on SV, I counted that one.
Traditions video will be put up before the next update.

I prefer to wait with investigating that alien creature to not slow down a process of Planetary Unification.

Tradition options
Okay, here are the tradition videos. there are5 videos in total, covering a total of 52 traditions.
I am using the "!Lots of Traditions" mod to add all these traditions incase you are curious. it's a collection of several other tradition mods.
Video's here

A vote for the first tradition tree is now open. If there is a tie at the time, I'll cast a vote to act as a tiebreaker. but only if the votes are tied.

So. Many. Traditions.

My personal favourite is Malice. We are Philosopher King of the fanatically Authoritarian nation. To design the most efficient way to work our lowly subjects to the bone is our sacred duty. :V
Exploration and good old Discovery are good too, so we could survey our surroundings faster.
But I think I'll choose Justice as our first Tradition tree. Less unrest and more happiness, plus additional unity to faster unlock new traditions.

Someone sum up Traditions for those who aren't going to be able to watch a video of significant length for the next 24 hours?

Can someone remind me how colonisation works? Also is there a way to tell if a planet is colonisable or not?

Claim the system by building a starbase (100 minerals, 75 influence).
Build a colony ship on your homeworld (300 minerals) and send it to your future colony.
Wait a year while colonists are getting settled (and demand 8 energy in month).

Sadly, Cemlanth is the only planet known to us which can be colonized. And considering it's a Tomb world, its habitability should be awful.

and.. forced update happened. *sigh* and all the mods broke. save game is no longer valid, so.. Game over. Still, this has been a usefull experimental quest, and has produced much data.
I plan to restart the quest in a week or two, once some of the central Mods update to match the new patch. the system seems to work well to me, with the game itself handling the background mechanics, and entertaining me (the GM) while making the updates, beyond the pleasure of making the updates.

A few tweaks are needed, of course, such as picking a mod with a few less traditions (52 was way to much), and extending the length of updates to cover 2-5 years(or a variable length of playing until player input is needed) in the early game where there is not much going on.

I would love any other suggestions you guys/gals might have, to streamline and develop this game format. Thank you for playing, and I hope to see you in the next game.

Oh, side note: did play a bit ahead in the game, exploring systems to find names of places and details, along with getting ideas for events. the tomb world in Banards star(that was being surveyed at the end of last update) had a renaissance era species tuned to be excellent miner. there was one other system with habitable planets in the systems next to those systems explored or being explored. the one north of UV ceti. It had 2 habitable worlds, both of which had Industrial age civilizations. one tuned to energy production, the other towards unity production.
