    Your new assistant immediately gets to work with his new position. He has gone out of his way to remind you time and time again that he is no miracle working, but given the massive increased in profits it's pretty clear that he's the next best thing

    The majority of the major Outworld incursion onto the Earth have been either beaten back to indefensible positions out outright crushed entirely. This in turn has allowed other companies to start getting back up there feet further, even if your head started has given you substantial advantage over most of your competitors.

    Strangely enough there have been reports of robotic ninja's off all things pulling several high profile assassinations, ordinarily it would be dismissed out of hand but due to the invasion of fantasy monsters that just happened people seem to be a bit more open minded than normal, and there is still the issues of these new 'demonic' creatures that have been appearing every now and then.

    The good news however is that thanks to your new assistant you more time to spend on…other goals.

    You set up another meeting with Vargal the 'Shokan' that has been residing as a guest in your little safe house.

    Surprisingly he seems happy enough to see you.

    "You look tired." He gives you a small smirk. "Been busy lately?"

    "Yes? You begin as you feel your eye twitch. "Sorry about the wait."

    "I've got time." The Shokan chuckles. "The benefits of a long lifespan."

    You do suppose that living longer may make one more inclined to be patient, or it could just a personal trait of his.

    "So." You begin. "What exactly do you want out of any proposed partnership between the two of us?"

    "At the moment." He raises an eyebrow. "I want to get on with my life and maybe have a shot at practicing my craft?"

    "Your craft?" You ask crossing your arms.

    He snaps his fingers causing them to glow a light blue. "I practice a bit of sorcery, not normal for a Shokan but I can get by?"

    "It doesn't require human sacrifice, drain the life out of the planet, or have a corrupting effect does it?" You eye the magical glow suspiciously.

    "Good question, always pays to be safe." Vargal comments. "And no, way too hard to stay under the radar with that sort of thing at home and trust me when I tell you that you don't want to get involved in sorcerer politics."

    He's honest.

    "Well then." You stretch your arms out. "That's more than good enough for me, you scratch my back I scratch yours eh?"

    "If that's the Earthrealm expression for if you help me than I help you it is." Vargal answers. "Why do you Earthrealms have so many sayings anyway?"

    "It is." You answer his first question. "As for the second, well I honestly don't know I guess it's just something we like to do in our spare time."

    • for those that dont know what to vote for here is a small helpful guide:

    • Shokan: are half dragons, they are often tall usually in excess of 8" in height and can posess 2-6 arms but usually 4. they are recognised as some of the most fearsom fighters in all the relms.
    • Centurians: Rivals of the Shokans. imagine typical centaurs except more bulky with black stripes on yellow lower halves posessed of snake tails made of metal. also they tend to be weapon users with flais being a favoured weapon
    • Chaos relmers: imagin ghostider without the fire... thats a bad discription. basically they are guys with skull faces, all about that discord and chaos
    • Deamons: guys like quan chi, look human and most are usually powerful sorcerer.
    • Oni: basically deamons, except not human looking and with a tendacy to be more punchy than magic.
    • Edenians: just functionally inmortal magic users.
    • Enenra : smoke deamons that control smoke and ash
    • Kytinn: dont know much just google d'vora (basically insect lady with a hive like the aburame<naruto>)
    • Outworlders: just humans who are better than the native stock in every way psychically, they live longer and have latent magic
    • Saurians: lizard people that can go invisible and spit acid, may or may not have tails.
    • Sedians: natives or order realm simlar to chaos relmers and out worlders only insted of just being a diffrent kind of asian they are a difrent kind of asian and a diffrent kind of black.
    • Tarkata: Baracka nuff said
    • Vampire: wings , fangs, drink blood, v.old
    • wraiths/ Zombies: undead like scorpion when he had hell powers and lui kang when he was dead.
    • Kreeyan: our amazons are different

    You look into all the information the various militaries and paramilitary groups have managed to get regarding the Shokan, a species that is apparently among the most powerful among those used by the Outworld forces.

    The Shokan are thankfully as a result of this comparatively sparse, even if when they do show up they cause an extraordinarily large amount of damage to local forces.

    There basic Soldiers have been dubbed the Shokan Warriors, large humanoids with four arms, bulletproof skin, and enough strength to toss a car if they feel like doing so.

    In addition archers simply called Shokan Archers are present among their forces, firing arrows larger than most spears they also manage to shoot with enough force to bring down helicopters.

    Shokan Brutes are heavily armored and armed warriors that carry massive warhammers that have proven capable of crushing even main battle tanks with nothing but a single swing.

    Finally magic users have shown up from time to time among the Shokan forces, using a mixture of their natural strength and magical powers to wreak havoc, they are thankfully the rarest of all the 'common' Shokan soldiers and thus where seen less often.

    Some different patterns of warriors such as pike users of all things have been seen among individual armies, but it's unknown whether or not this is the result of some kind of clan structure, differences between commanders, or the possibility that the Shokan we've seen so far are just forwards elements of the main Shokan force.

    Well either way even it seems that you've got you work cut out for you if you want to prevent future invasions.

    Ok it's timeskip time, I'm going to leap you guys forward about a year as a 'macro turn' of sorts. You've got several points to spend on each area of work, the more points you spend in an area the more benefit you will get out of that action.

    • Ok, pause. MK fans are the shokan feats here canon or just wank to balance against the conventional military? Because how on earth does a guy like Johnny Cage is supposed to fight off one of these?(before he got the green glowy energy thing)

    @undead frog How many points does a selected area cost?

    Also i do not know what plans we will make but can we PLEASE have a point in robotics included?

    Also, the guy isn't weak by any means, he's a 'does his own stunts' fighting actor like Jackie Chan IIRC. But I believe I recall that the tournament has a limited balancing effect to it, letting man fight god fight undead fight cyborg ninja. Skill and strength are still important but it means you may face what you could not outside it.

    You say that like Johnny Cage isn't superhuman.

    Mortal Kombat is one of those superhuman martial arts settings like Street Fighter, Killer Instinct or King of Fighters.

    Riiight, only the recent games.

    Anyway I'll admit giving the Shokan the ability to destroy main battle tanks is a bit much, the helicopters I can maybe see but for dealing with tanks, Outworld has those unnamed giant things we saw during the earthrealm invasion in MK9.

    Not to mention actual dragons as air support.

    I will say that those aren't normal Shokan, they have been magically altered compared to there normal brethren and are rare even among them, not that you know that IC.

    Think of them as the Shokan version of a super-soldier.
     
    So does anyone have any other plans we can do cause as much as I like a single option I do like to have some more plans to chose instead of just one.
