Hm.

I've become indecisive. I have options on SIing.

1. Narcissist method; SVers personality in control with influence from the character.

2. My normal method; Character personality in control with minor influence and knowledge from me.

3. "No, stop, listen to me already!" Character with a voice in their head.

...It sort of depends on what the stream is like for the choice. If a normal Arturia is present, the first makes the most sense(2nd worked for Arc because the original's not right there and she acts different before Shiki), if only to distinguish me from her other than slight differences in stats and a cloak.

2nd makes sense if there's no native Vanilla Arturia but the other Arturia players are there.

3rd is for when I am totally alone in the land of being a King Arthur that stream, except for maybe MHX.

Hannz/I would've said Kaito but this version isn't an asshole yet so...
So this'll be TDS Kyoko somewhere around chapter 1 of the Different Story after she requested to be Mami's apprentice, but before she actually began training under Best-Senpai.

Name: Kyoko Sakura
Age: 13
Appearance:
Gender: Female
Origin: Mental Health Issues for Little Girls Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Backstory:
If she were to describe her life, Kyoko Sakura would say that hers was blessed indeed. She had loving parents, an adorable little sister, mom's delicious cooking, and a lot of friends from her dad's clergy. She wasn't exactly popular or the coolest kid in class, but at the end of the day, she was happy. At the very least, she wasn't part of the tragedies her dad cried over -no matter how big or small- whenever he read the newspaper or watched the news.

Then, it happened.

Kyoko didn't fully understand why, but dad changed. Not in his attitude, but in his beliefs. He was still the kind, wise, and loving father she knew, but others didn't see it that way. The clergy slowly began to dwindle and the church grew increasingly empty with each sermon that passed. As the emptiness grew, so did the void in their stomachs as the flow of donations eventually halted.

Dad said it was a test of their fate, a test from God like the one Job suffered through. Kyoko couldn't understand why an all loving benevolent God would do that to a family that did nothing but serve him with every fiber of their being, but she didn't voice any complaints. After all, Dad couldn't possibly be wrong! If people just listened to him they'd see the truth too!

Much like the story of Job, salvation eventually came. Their perseverance to the Faith was rewarded, and what they lost was not only replaced, but doubled. More people came to hear her father's sermons, and with them, the once crumbling church was renovated into something grander. They even had food back on the table!

She had all of this, and all it took was to accept the responsibility of being a Magical Girl. Where her father was a force of good in public, Kyoko was a protector under the moonlit night.

The life of a Magical Girl wasn't all rainbows and sunshine however. Witches were hard to find in Kazamino, and even harder to beat. In fact, the very first Witch Kyoko ever fought escaped, and she had to spend quite a while tracking it down before eventually finding the Witch at a another town entirely.

There, she met Mami Tomoe, and in Kyoko's eyes, the blonde was the closest thing this earth had to a living angel.
Personality:
A devout girl at heart, Kyoko trusts the Church, and her friends and family without reserve. The same goes for figures like law enforcement, teachers and such. Some would call this naive, but Kyoko would disagree politely. It was her family's implicit trust in God that brought her salvation after all. However, this doesn't mean she's immune to the effects of trauma. After experiencing poverty for so long, she's developed a appreciation for food that approaches gluttony. To waste is to sin in her eyes.

Nonetheless, Kyoko tries her best to be a Good Girl like her parents want her to be, and if that means always having a smile on her face and a kind word to everyone she meets, then so be it.
Powers/Abilities:
  • Enchantment Magic
    • Illusion Magic born from Kyoko's wish. This allows Kyoko to completely fool the senses of those around her. A stack of books doused with gasoline could suddenly be a pile of sweets, the matchbox in their hands suddenly a box of Pocky. Whatever this magic targets, it usually disguises into food.
    • Another trick Kyoko can pull is the creation of solid and stylized chain links in mid air. Usually, it's strong enough to hold against multiple strikes from most Witches and Magical Girls.
    • Finally, all Magical Girls have the capacity to heal wounds, but those whose wish don't include it find that healing creates too much grief in their Soul Gem when all it does is keep a limb functional and close tiny wounds.
  • Rosso Phantasma
    • Kyoko's special technique. By expending some magic, Kyoko can create almost completely identical clones of herself that are every bit as alive and skilled as the original.
  • Magical Girl Physiology
    • As with all Magical Girls, Kyoko can stay alive so long as her Soul Gem stays intact. She has instinctive mastery of her weapon, a all around superhuman body with all the boons that come with it, and the ability to completely dull all physical pain and fatigue if she so wishes.
    • Her reaction speed has been improved enough that intercepting bullets from close range with her spear is something that she could do with enough experience, and while she can't vault over entire buildings with one jump, several chained together could do it. As for the speed at which she moves, her running speed can barely catch-up with vehicles on a highway, but she's still capable of short bursts of extreme speed where she'll appear as a blur to those watching. Though, it can get rather taxing on the Soul Gem.
    • Strength wise, she can send someone her age flying several feet away with one swing of her weapon, cut through flesh and bone encased in metal as thick as she is tall and, if she puts enough effort into it- shatter concrete floors to create small craters approximately wide enough to fit a car's entire length if she uses her spear.
Equipment:
  • Soul Gem
    • A red egg shaped jewel that can be stored as a ring engraved with Witch Runes that spell out her Witch's name. It's Kyoko's soul made solid, and will keep her body animate so long as it's within 100m of it.
  • Pocky
    • The ever popular snack Kyoko likes to munch on. It almost seems like she has a never-ending supply of it.

>Submitting a Lancer

>Trusting the Church

Also brave.

Ah, but multiply two negatives and what do you get?

That's right, a positive! Obviously, this means Kyoko will live forever.

She's also idealistic. As previously established, that is also a reason for the universe to shit on you here.

On the upside, your destiny to suffer is accordingly so strong that Gilgamesh will more or less instantly snatch defeat from victory in your presence, so that's an upside.

Triple death flag.

Man, we might as well put a big ol' "Kill Me" sign on poor Kyoko's back.

Triple negatives makes it a negative again, I'm afraid. :V

oh hey remember that one Urobuchi character who successfully fought for their ideals, sang a happy song about destroying the world, succeeded in getting a fairly good ending, didn't get it retconned out from under them like certain protags, eat dirt PMMM and got to appear in multiple crossovers, movies and specials after their series ended? :V

But wait people!

She's a magical girl in an Urobutchi show! Thats yet another negative!

Yeah, but she's also a child in Fate Zero.

That doesn't work out well at all.

Name: Kouta Kazuraba

Okay I notice something wrong immediately

Where's the Perpetual Unemployment notice

I'm only like halfway through Gaim but Kouta not having a note saying that his attempts of getting a job end with him being thrown out on the flimsiest reasoning, losing his resume on the way to the interview due to monster attacks, or getting fired due to monster attacks or an abuse of henshin already seems like a mistake. It's like a Cu sheet not acknowledging his shitty luck.

I seem to have lost my reaction image of Gilgamesh projectile vomiting. I'll let you know if I ever find it again.
Yeah, personally im not fond of Gaim.

Not because it's bad (it's not), but because I felt it never lived up to the hype, and people keep treating it as some unshakeable zenith that will never have a series surpass it.

Yeah, personally im not fond of Gaim.

Considering Xellos' stated reason for disliking Kamen Rider, I doubt it's the fact that it's a Gaim character that invoked that reaction. And from what I'm aware of, overpowered end states isn't a Gaim exclusive thing. The only other Kamen Rider I've watched anything of is Kabuto, and considering what Clock Up does in base form, I'm going to assume that it's a frequent thing.

Please don't take the first excuse you can to complain about a series being overhyped when it wasn't the topic at hand. It's annoying.

Right, sorry. It was uncalled for and is the kind of behavior that people have called me out over in the past. I apologize.
