Mimir, in Norse Mythology, is head Odin carries around with him because he knows stuff.

Now, I don't think this is that Mimir but rather some kind of being or sorceror who was antagonistic to the Aesir and is laughing internally at the idea of calling himself Mimir. I definitely don't think it is trustworthy.
