Justice Man
I feel this fits as a theme song for this RP.

And now for the requisite Kid Hero.

Name: Yuki Karas
Age: 15
Sex: Male
Appearance:

About 5'4", dresses in jeans and some combination of a hoodie and t-shirt, and wears a baseball cap with a Blue Ø symbol.
Biography: There's really not much to say about him. He was raised by his single father since as far as he can remember, and doesn't really do much to stand out from a crowd. An otherwise average boy, with rather average skills, and very normal likes for a kid his age.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about him is his strong believe in the meme of a 'Hero of Justice', of an individual who is willing to protect the innocent, and put the lives of others above themselves. Perhaps for this reason, he has developed a bit of hero worship for the famous super robot hero, Megaman.

Oh damn, we already have five people. That means there's really only 2 Biometals left. Shit.

Library Woman
Name: Maggie Kelsin
Age: 23

Gender: Female

Skills: Research, The Internet, General Geeklike talents

Biography: Maggie is a troubled young woman, caught in the endless cycle of modern day life, where one is still required to have exceptional talent to be deemed 'Successful' (Or barring that, at least the right connections to get by anyway), or be willing to spend enormous amounts of money and then defeat all of your rivals and climb to the heights of mediocrity over the bodies of those you destroyed on the way. It's a difficult thing to be intimately aware of, and the constant rise of increased automation faster and faster through the powers of science continue to leave less and less for the ordinary people on the street to do, especially when universal income isn't quite a thing that's universal just yet.

So, Maggie remains, trying to live her life doing what small bits of work she can find, abusing the wonders of the networks as needed to earn some small spare change while constantly looking for an honest day's pay. It's not the most glamorous of life, but it's not like she's some kind of Chosen One or something who gets a special route through life that following to the end may or may not lead to a happy ending.

That's the kind of thing only children get the right to believe in.

Awesome! Can I get a quick rundown on which Biometals are still open?

EDIT: Wait, I think this was a stupid question...

Fencer Woman
Name: Renata Kim
Age: 19
Gender: Female

Skills: Computer and Network Hardware, Creative Writing, Literature, Research, Fencing.

Biography: A student of literature at the Light City Community college, Renata is directionless as can be, pulled by a dozen different interests but lacking the passion to pursue any of them to fullness. Robotics? She loves to build machines but she hasn't the programming knowledge to rub two lines of code together, much less construct any kind of AI. Philosophy? Interesting but boring, if they aren't talking about ancient history they're talking about the human soul in the modern age and what humanity means in an increasingly roboticized world. Fencing club on the side? Well she's an alright fencer, but she simply doesn't have the speed or strength to keep up most of the time and usually just ends up teaching the newbies the finer points of forms and parries. Even Literature, her current major, bores her to death with ancient stories that always seem the same as modern ones but less polished.

But if reading a bunch of old stories did anything for her, it gave her some ideas of where to be when some sort of apocalypse comes knocking. Talking floating piece of metal, sword in the tree, Lady in the Lake, same things once you get past the aesthetics of them. When gods fight, bystanders around them tend to become collateral, so she needs to figure out how not to be a bystander, ideally by becoming a god.

Well... Let it never be said that she doesn't dream big...

Let me know if any problems?

I'm amused that only @Seru and myself made characters older than...23? I think other than our old farts everyone's under 25 for sure.

Darn kids! :mob:

I just liked the notion of a lit student who only picks up the biometal because she knows that not picking up the biometal is going to make the story so much more boring and probably deadly.

In other words, I made the bard.

I'm a crotchety old bastard.

It helps me intimidate dumbass kids.

WARNING

Due to everyone and their grandmother wanting Model F for some reason, you are now officially warned that you may not get the Biometal you want.

....I suddenly have an image of you and I playing "Good Cop, Bad Cop" with all the young whipper-snappers running around...

@The Fourth Monado , just a note, like in other threads, please make sure to let me and the other Players know when and how we can help you in any way.
(At the moment it sounds like it's "try to let me know your preferences on more than one Biometal, and not get upset if you don't get what you want".)

Why do you all like Model F so much anyway?

I asked for P, but oh well.
