As I was about to say, before I was pre-empted by someone making my point, it's not exactly any more inherently ridiculous than other things that have been fully confirmed by the comics.

I mean, while the Abraham Lincon thing doesn't make much sense, the "buildings with multiple stories existed before stairs were invited" does. They just used ladders to travel between different levels.
